I put 4 seeds into peat pellets last week some time. The pellets were really saturated and it got cold over night but they did fine. Once the roots appeared, they've been ravenous. The shoots were coming up right before my eyes. I just started a White Widow seed and 3 healthy-looking seeds from my home grow of CBD Blue Shark and Wedding Cake which went entirely to seed last Winter. I'm going to risk another tragedy and see if any of these 3 phenomes turn into something interesting. CBD Blue Shark is one of my all-time favorite strains. It has a great blueberry taste which really comes through in a vape, and a balanced effect. The Wedding Cake has a very distinctive creamy peppery taste. Maybe they will go really well together, maybe not.

I put the biggest sprout into a DWC bucket and the other two are chilling on a tray full of LECA. Oct 06 I put the two extra seedlings in a pot, on top of a chunk of granite, which I buried in organic potting soil. I'm going to experiment with root trimming and make a couple cannabonsai trees. I also got some Wedding Pie from the dispensary, which is a cross between Wedding Cake and Grape Pie and the flavours really compliment one another. This definitely bodes well for the CBD Blue Cake experiment!

I didn't adjust the pH at all and I think they're a little burnt but it's fine for now. Leaves are coming in.

Crazy how much faster the vegetative growth is in hydroponics VS soil. These seeds were all planted at the same time.

These guys aren't growing as fast as the White Widow. I topped the one in the DWC. I'm going to wait a bit for the others. Other than that they look pretty good!

Switched to HPS and will put into flower next weekend. All the nodes I want to keep are doing well. I just want them a bit bigger before the stretch to make the most out of my vertical space.

I've been taking off all the lower shoots coming off the main stems. I don't want to lose sight of the main colas I'm focusing on. Once we're in flower I'll start leaving more of the side branches, at this stage none will reach the light by the end of flower. I'd rather do the hard pruning now before the switch. I'm going to keep them in veg for another week. The mainline structure is working really well.

First day of flower! They've both been really thirsty over the last week of veg and the pH has been all over the place. I honestly haven't been messing with it that much even when the pH swings, and I've just been changing out the buckets once a week. Sometimes the pH is 3 on one plant and 8 on the other. It's wild. I'm going to keep a closer eye on it now that I've changed to flower nutrients. The smell is already pretty intense and the stalks are nice and big. They've been blowing up since I put the HPS light in, now that the light cycle is changing they're going to go nuts. I'm stoked. I'm a bit worried about the cold temperatures at night, especially with the light being off for longer. I did some defoliation on the last day of veg just to get rid of some bigger fan leaves up top and some shoots down below.

They look great. They were thirsty this week. Ph is still lower and PPM higher on this one than the White Widow, and this one is bigger. I think it likes the spot right under the light. That air pump hose is also tighter so it probably has better aeration as well.

So much growth. I had the 1000w light up to 100% for a bit but it's just too hot so I put it back down to 75%. Dec 19: this one has some burnt leaves. I can't exactly tell if it's nutrient burn or light burn. I switched it into the cooler spot the White Widow was in, and I added a bunch of water. This one drank maybe a third of the water since Friday, at least twice as much as the other one. The pH on this one is still reading really low but my tap water is 7.8 and the White Widow is 7.6. I'm just going to watch it before I start adding pH up. It's very strange. This one is still stretching like crazy at the main cola points. She's starting to bloom but not as much as the white widow.

Lots of pistils coming out. It looks like kind of a mix of its parent strains, which makes sense. I was going to do some final defoliation this week, but the colas are all pretty well spaced out and they're growing so fast you can practically see it with the naked eye. Idk if the added stress from further defoliating the bottom will be worthwhile right now. Dec 26. I went ahead with the defoliation. This always happens, it's just scary to cut pieces off your beautiful babies when they're thriving. But this is the perfect time to do it, when they're healthy and growing strong. Whether or not it helps yield, it will still help with airflow and most importantly, it will allow me to see into the plant to catch any problems before its too late. Several of the leaves I took off were yellowing already. It was hard to take the healthy ones that had been there a long time, but it's for the best. I didn't go overboard, and I can see a lot more of the bud sites now. Things are looking great. I can't get good lighting for photos unfortunately.

This poor monster just keeps growing. Some of the tops of the top colas got burnt. It's too bad the height discrepancy is so much between this and the white widow. I pulled the hangers as tight as possible and got another inch or so of height but the plant is going to keep growing. Ive been rotating them, but I think now the tall branches will have to stay on the outside and I might tie some of the others to the outside too. I don't really want to because I think messing with my SCROG too much last year is what made that batch go to seed and this is the same genetics.

The tops of the colas are recovering well from being burnt. One is probably going to foxtail. The others are kind of growing around the burnt parts. I don't think any more damage has happened since that first time.

Pretty much all the colas are foxtailing. I also just found out my landlord is selling the property and there are a bunch of people coming through for various reasons over the next few weeks. I just gave the last feeding, next week will be just water.

My plants will have been in flower 8 weeks on the 28th. My landlord is selling and I had to move my tent for a property inspection today. There is a full photography showing thing happening on the 26th. Should I start flushing now and chop or is it worth sneaking another week in?

Can it be moved to a friends place or anywhere else for the time being? offer to split some of it with the person housing it? It does not look ready for harvest yet. Ball park maybe 3 weeks. Base all harvest time on trichome levels of mostly cloudy and 10-30% amber. Sorry I can't be of anymore help Good Luck!

I've been using this chart for hydro with Remo https://www.remonutrients.com/calculator/ I need to change or add water today. Should I just give water from here on out? Or should I give a bit more nutrients, at least to the CBD cross that's still putting out all white pistils?

Hey 3lementa1 check your inbox, it's the green arrow on the bottom right of your screen. Easier to have a conversation in the DM's As for your plants, you can still use calmg till the 2nd last week of flower. Then flush if you flush or just water. If you plan on growing out the plants for a few more weeks keep adding it back in and keep the feeding schedule you have been doing. If you monitor its PPM/EC of the runoff that will let you know if your are underfeeding or overfeeding. Over all keep what your doing and add back the calmg. Keep us posted on what else is happening. Cheers,

Finally getting some red pistils. Trichs look cloudy but I think more are still coming out. I saw some amber parts in the microscope but rarely. I took a lot of lower branches off. Instead of flushing, I'm adding nutes again, even a bit more cal mag. Day after feeding: Jan 24 Ph 7.3, ppm 782 Jan 25 pH 6.6 ppm 880

Starting next Thursday there will be potential new owners touring the property. It's still a bit early but I'm going to flush now and harvest next week. I think we're close enough. The buds are sticky and smell great. These ones aren't really fattening up that much but they look delicious. It would definitely have been nice to have both plants the same size so they could both benefit from the optimal light distance.

I did a wet trim, cut and hung my girls tonight. My landlord's realtor is showing my apartment 12-4 Thursday-Sunday. I'm going to put them in paper bags and put them in this bin under my bed for the 4 hours people come through and just burn incense. Will the buds be ok? Any tips?

If you can keep them cool or even cold then yes it be fine for 4 hrs. Agree with the rice or anything dry..a small bowl of bi carb soda(baking soda) also works really well for absorbing odors for a short time so just half a cup full of baking soda in the tub too with the rice and if you can keep it cool or even cold in that room (cold room will also make pple want to leave it faster) then you will be fine. Only half fill the paper bags so there is air in the bag..need air flow!! then put paper bags in the tub with the cup of soda and bowl of rice and you should be fine. Other options will require you to spend money.

Had to cut. Open house through my apartment for 4 hours/day every day basically until it sells. I'm keeping them hanging in the window until the tours come through, then they go in a paper bag in a bin under my bed and I burn incense. It went ok today. I just used a microscope and they're both pretty early. This one has mostly cloudy trichomes with some clear and very few amber. The White Widow has a lot of white hairs that aren't even through growing, and the trichomes aren't really there as much either. Certainly not glowing white with resin. It's a shame I had to cut early but I think it will still be some good smoke as long as I can keep if from going mouldy.
