Hello everyone. This cream mandarine is part of an autoflower run, she's the most vigorous one. Plants germinated in small 10 cm pots in smaller grow tent. They were transplanted day 12 in 20 liters grow bag. As for the potting mix I went organic: I used bout 50% mixed peats with 20% drainage (perlite/pomice) and 30% organic matter (humus/compost/cow and horse manure). Every pot was top dressed with about 2-3cm of a mix worm humus and compost. I prepared and pre-watered the pots one week before transplant. Upon trasplant I added a sprinkle slow release organic-mineral fertilizers to the top dressing (about 1 grams per pot liter). Thanks to rich soil and granular fert I plan to add only water for the rest of plants life, maybe just some sporadic bottled molasses and supplements if needed. I developed this nutrition mix since I grew sick of measuring milliliters. The same soil (with slightly more fertilizer) is already tested with very good results outdoor with both cannabis and chili peppers. Water retention of the potting mix is very good thanks to high organic matter content. As now I'm watering one time a week with just a tad over 1/4 pot volume in water. Plants seems very fine, I was concerned as she's showing some curling/clawing in new leaves but they seem to flatten as they develop. Will keep you updated. Happy bottanic everyone. Ciao.

Hello everyone. This week the plant took of. She's stretched quite a bit during the last days showing her sativa dominance, buds are building up nicely. Day 28 I topdressed with humus and compost mixed with 7-10 grams of organic mineral npk 5-10-15 to give her some extra feeding to start flowering. She's going thirsty every two days now so I alternated water and feeding with humus tea and molasses. Watering volume about 5-6 liters. Only training this week has been removing two or three fan leaves which were occluding the lower buds. I've been very conservative with this plant because she's not too bushy and has some internodal distance, the air circulation between

Hello everyone. Another week passed, gave her water and some enzimes on day 33, I noticed some leaf intervenal discoloration, not too concerning in my opinion. Maybe the enzimes were too much or some nutrient lock out due to a somewhat excessive fertilization. Any opinion on this issue? I think will go on with plain water to the end I think, hoping the problem will sort out itself. What do you think? Other then that I think buds oare forming fast and fine, she's putting out a little resin and smell now. Ciao 😊

Gave her enzimes last week, maybe they were too much or some nutrient lock out due to a somewhat excessive fertilization (too much vermicompost) Think I will go on with plain water to the end I think maybe the problem will sort out itself or wont degenerate too much. Any advice?

Vermicompost is natures' ideal plant food and if pure, can not burn plants. Your plants are suffering a lack of trace elements which can be solved by adding volcanic rock dust to your substrate, but at this late stage and with a need to act soon, a dose or two of soluble trace element mix, available from any garden centre, will help your plants greatly, with the leaves returning to a normal colour/condition within a few days. True nutrient lock out does not occur until the substrate is below 5.5pH or above 7.5pH, both highly unlikely situations, with no real lock out occurring anywhere between 5.8 and 7.4. Enzymes are good for the substrate and will not burn your plant either, unless given in ultra high concentrations or amounts. Hope this helps, Organoman.

Hello. Just a quick update as I didn't do much. only watering. Mid 7th week, everything going fine in the tent, they are beginning to make some resin and smell, Gave some microelements to see if the intervenal discoloration gets better. It didn't got worse in the last days anyway so I'm positive it won't be much of an issue in the end. Ciao!

Somehow I counted weeks in a silly way, so I thought this was week 8 but it's still week 7. LoL. Plant is doing great anyway, She's big, exceeding 70 cm diameter, With so many colas at canopy level I expect her to yeld very big fo an Autoflowering strain, The training succesfully shaped her resulting in 10 branch reaching the top canopoy level. To me the key to a good training is timing, much more than continuous adjustment. This plant was bent just one time on main stem and one another time little later the branches. We had rainy days so I used a dehumidifier for a day or two, now it's dry again outside so no need for it anymore. She's still thirsty like a bitch as she drinks 5 liters of water every two day. Maybe I'll make a drip sistem for my next grow, watering has been boring lately. I'm not giving her anything to the end now, she's doing fine like this. The humus coupled with slow release fertilizer is doing a great job. She has some nitrogen excess to me, but she's the only plant to show it in a batch of 6. The issue seems very small to me anyway. Day 48 checked trichomes, some is turning milky already, can't wait for the buds to ripen :) Ciao Bottanico

Week 8 Here came fall. End of last week plant seemed hungry, the fade wasn't progressing as supposed so I gave her two nutes round with only water round in between them. I used bottled feeding: biobizz biobloom + top max (2ml each per liter), ghe ripen (2ml per liter), solved micronutrients and calmag (not mixed, one time one the next the other, 1-0,5 ml per lt). Solution EC was about 1,4, starting with 0,3 tap water. She reacted well to the feeding in my opinion. now the fade is progressing more naturally. I did observe that the plant under the less powerful COBS in the same tent are doing better then the ones under the sp250 wich has a higher par output, so I raised the light to 45-50cm from canopy. This had a positive effect on the plants imho. I'll stay a little bit further from the beginning in my next grow. I took a sample under the microscope to take some tricho pictures, they look beautifully clouded but the buds still has to ripen some 50% more. Based on that I think we are arriving to an end in 10-15 days max. Happy bottanic guys

Good week everyone, day 59 she looks about ready. The fade came in strong in the last days, I did a bit of defolation for yellow leaves here and there, I removed quite a few of them fan leaves. To check it better I sampled a mid branch to look at it better, bud color is nice and green, pistils shriveled to a very pale orange pinkish color. The look of the bud is beautiful. Mass/weight wise seems quite solid herb. Trichomes cloudy from top to bottom of the branch, some amber on top. I had quick look to an upper cola and the was more amber obviously but not too much. I think one last watering and it will be it, curtain closes for her. She went so fast.

The plant suffered a bit from low nutes, and in my opinion she would have enjoyed a bigger pot. If would plant her again I would do in 30 lt pot. Nugs just dried 12 days and they already taste good and smooth after a mere 1 day cure. Buds on the fluffy side but very resinous. Taste is nice but still developing.
