backchecker1 Not much has changed. I checked the solution today the PPM was the same as before. I balanced the PH back down to 5.5, it was reading at about 6.5. I will check them again in a couple of days and add more nutrients if needed. So far the solution level has not changed so I didn't see the need to add more nutrients. The roots are not through the net pots yet. I'm guessing that once they do hit the surface the water levels will go down as well. October 23, 2021 - Just checked the pots and the roots on three of them have reached the nutrient solution. I expect we'll see some progress in the next week or so.

backchecker1 Week Starting October 28, 2021. Well the roots have really started to take off. I added nutrients (about 1/3 strength). The PPM measured was almost exact to what it was last week. There are signs of what I think is nutrient burn. I probably should have left them in the starter cube with only water for a little longer. Good news is the new growth looks really good. I have balanced the PH a few times brought it back down to 5.5 from 6.5. Still both in a good range. The one small one is nine days behind the other three so it looks a little rough. Just about time to start LST.

backchecker1 Really starting to take off now. The two NL x BB are growing a lot every day. The BB x JH are smaller maybe a little slower growing. Also the small one is 9 days behind the other three.

backchecker1 Swapped out the solution today. That brought the PPM down quite a bit. There was a bit of sediment in the old solution not sure if it was from the nutrients or possibly got some light bleed into the buckets. No smell so I don't think it was algae

backchecker1 Into week two of flower (on three of them). Had a lot of issues with PH fluctuation so I changed the buffer I had to a liquid type well see if this helps.

backchecker1 Well things are moving along. Looks like I'm going to have a staggered harvest. It's almost like the four of them are a week apart in the growth department.

backchecker1 Looking like I am going to have a staggard harvest. I have one plant that looks to be about a week ahead. Then another two that are about two weeks and three weeks behind. Oh well it is what it is.😐

backchecker1 Flowers are staring to bulk up pretty nice. I have one plant that is ahead of the others looked like it was getting a little light burn as well as maybe over feeding. So I flushed over night with ph balanced tap water and then continued with new solution today. I checked the tri combs most are still clear but are changing rapidly. We'll see what another week brings.

backchecker1 Looks like they are starting to fade this will be the last week with nutrients. I will start to flush next round. The buds are thick with trichomes almost all are cloudy, so I think we are getting close.

backchecker1 Well it's looking like this will be the last week of feeding. I figure it's week eight of flower. The tricohoms are pretty much all cloudy no amber yet. I'm not sure if it's the DWC method or adding the Microbial Mass to the nutrient regime but these plants have thick buds. Although I only have one grow under my belt this method seems to produce much better. I will say that it requires more attention than I had anticipated. During veg and flower cycles I have added water to the buckets everyday as well as adjusting the PH. I will get a better comparison on the next round because I'll use the rest of the seeds from my first grow with the DWC method. Looking forward to harvest.

backchecker1 Checked the three that are starting week 10 of flower. Had a few amber trichomes starting to show. So I started to flush with regular tap water PH to 5.5. Well see if they are ready in a week or so. Had a bit of light burn so I raised the light and turned down the intensity. Doesn't look like the buds are burned so hope it all works out.

backchecker1 Just got them hanging. Should be ready to trim in a couple of days. I'll check back with weight and taste after curing. Well got everything trimmed this past weekend. The two NL x BB were very good flowered a little longer than I expected but the results were great. This time I left the plant intact through the drying process. It really seemed to speed up the cure as well. I tried some it was very good, a tad harsh but that will take time to improve.

backchecker1 As per my other strain Blueberry x Jack Herer came out great. I did have a few problems with the second plant it didn't mature quite as well as the first. Trimmed and dried bud weight is 420 grams. Well see in a few weeks what the taste and affect is.
