They are thriving after transplant and settled into their permanent home. Having trouble with high temps in the day due to light heat and mild weather, not enough to kick on the AC so used the AC fan and opened windows. There was some purple on the second set of stems that is not not on the current set yet, hopefully it's staying cooler down there.
Growth is taking off. Started training this week. All plants have stem trainers. The autos and one photo just started LST, and the remaining photos were fimmed and one was topped.
Autos and fast photo are flowering nicely, good stretch. The photos and multiple training methods are starting to fill out a nice canopy. Seeing lots of bud sites and even had to remove a few leaves that were massive and blocking light.
This week I gave one medium feed with good flush. Also gave molasses twice. Was pH'ing my water and found a few yellow leaves under a couple of plants. Flushed (kind of) with RO plus CalMag and pH to 6.3. One of my plants gave me some run off and the pH was 4! Going to give pH 7.3 today and see where it is tomorrow.
pH was low then high then low. PPM was over 3000 (meter only reads up to 3000). Only fed pH water this week and no nutrients. Much improved today, finally fed but will report with next week's data. Also rerouted the exhaust fan to outside instead through the room. But temps still high in early afternoon to early evening up to 90 and need the fan at 9 or 10. Since the first harvest I'm now saving money every month that would have been spent at the dispensary, soon to purchase a room AC that pumps directly into the tent.
Struggling with high temps again. Destroyer has canoed leaves. Getting better with pH 6.1 water and nutes twice per week rather than 3. And still only light feed plus that amount + 25% more water to dilute. All getting 55 oz on feed days and 26 oz on just water days (daily). Runoff is better 6.4 -7.0
I only fed twice this week d/t ppm too high, one plants pH was 4.2 again. Corrected with pH 6.8 for a few days. A few leaves turned yellow at the bottom of the plant in in the center of the photos at this time. Less new yellowing by end of week. Struggling with high temps again but brilliant husband figured out the problem and fixed it today. Temps in high 70s/low 80s now and the one humidifier has been keeping steady rh 45-70% (only once, very cold night). Stems are purple 😫. Trichomes on the autos are mostly cloudy and even a few amber on the leaves only, except the fruit punch, not ready for that yet, still so many long white hairs.
Autos are finishing their final stretch, should be possible new years timeframe for Supernova. Watching trichomes on the others and so lovely, mostly cloudy and covered in them. The fruit punch is even starting a rainbow fade on a few upper leaves. Likely looking at late January at the latest but will likely stagger each strain each week for harvest/dry/trim/jar in January, we shall see. Photos are getting big. So many bud sites on each. The leaves are so massive I had to defoliate the 3 Dr. Who's again. My favorite up to this point is the triple topped Dr. Who A plant, she's a perfect globe and has dozens of bud sites. Chocolope has some brown splotchy areas that suddenly spread over past 3 days, and the Lime glue still has nitrogen claws. Only fed every 5 ish days due to pH and high PPM and today, I left out the Flora micro altogether and gave all my photos in veg the dose of Flora bloom and Flora grow from the flowering chart. Giving these girls to the end of January then time to decide how tall I want these before switching the lights to flower? I kind of want 6 ft plants at harvest with the flower height adjustment as it finishes. So maybe when they are 2.5 feet tall? Would allow 5 ft plants with room from the light.
Keeping an eye on chocolope, having some yellow and brown spots not sure if the light or pH. The autos are getting cloudy trichomes and should be done in a couple of weeks
Trimmed the burnt tips from chocolope, moved to corner and adjusted light height. Autos are fading and can't wait to flip the others into flower soon!!
So apparently the pH stuff I was fixing made the photos hungry and a lighter green to the leaves. Gave mod feeding 3 x this week and they are responding well.
Harvested 3 of 4 autos and gave a dose of Recharge with great results. Feeding medium feed still and no sign of burning. Nice green leaves. Switched lights to flower on 1/17 and no in preflower. Hoping for a big stretch
The stretch is on!! I had up up my feeds to aggressive and every other day as the bottom leaves are yellowing and falling off. I fed early bloom nutes but gave the Flora micro a larger dose. All flowering. Harvesting the fruit punch finally
Struggling with yellowing leaves at the bottom. Alternating Flora grow series with Floranova and Recharge. Light defoliation on bottom for new mini growth without light.
