Started my first indoor grow tent up the other day, still waiting on one light to come in the mail, but otherwise it all arrived in a timely manner. I have never done autos before so I did some thorough reading through the diaries on here and some videos on youtube etc to figure out what I should try my hand at. The Auto LSD and Auto Purple Punch both popped on day three, and once they dried out I gave them a slight watering with a tiny amount of Dr. Seeds Bloom Boost ( works great for root strike along with its intended use ). The Obi wan Clone was a late save off a guerilla plant that had a nice black Christmas tree phenotype loaded with sticky buds and fuchsia pistils I really hope she takes so far seems promising. Lights are dimmed to 200W currently. The Auto PK and Auto Cheese were started on day 8 around midday so well see them next week! Ignore the leggy clone in the back, alas she didn't make it she was doomed from the start as she was slightly frosted. UPDATE The other two seeds sprouted day ten!!
So far this week has been off to a good start growth is doubling nearly daily and everyone is mighty happy so far. Partially glad the seeds arrived later so that I have a bit of a chance to see their behaviors. I also decided to try my hand at germinating a blue java banana (not weed sorry folks) since the environments are the same, so you may see it pop up in a photo or two here and there as a neat little bonus project. I am still using a bit of the bloom boost for the water for the cheese and the PK as they just sprouted day 10, but as of the second set of true leaves on the other two I return to normal aerated water in the proper PH zone.
So far things are going great, only adding the bloom boost still until the second set of true leaves come in on the younger two, and some doses for the clone here and there. hopefully she is ready to rehome soon as I want to give her better growing medium. Should be able to start LST this week or maybe next we will see. All in all everyone is happy and cant complain. Also the lights got switched two 4 vivosun 100W clones from china and they are running at full capacity, this happened as of 10/23/2021.
The LSD and Purple Punch are throwing preflowers as of 10/24/2021 and so I have been giving them 50 ml daily of the dr seeds bloom boost. They're loving that stuff, it seems to really give them a good boost to their roots, my obiwan clone got potted up to a dixie solo cup after trying to root in my herb garden she was sitting on!(10/25/2021)
10/26/2021 defoliated just a small bit, two middle fan leaves off each LSD and PP. Damn that LSD smells hectic when shes cut fresh, the purple punch was more subtle. Cant wait for the trichomes to start coming in. FIM'd the cheese because I wont learn how to properly do this with autos until mess it up at least once, figured one in four is okay. and if it works out great, great! Still just dosing at a low dose for preflower and eventually ramp it up by .125 ml in the first and second weeks of flower.
well, went away for a few days and my roomie forgot about everyone, luckily they didnt care. At the beginning of next week we will re amend the soil with the gaia green power bloom and some worm castings. as of 11/2/21 the obi is in her 3 gallon home. gave the pk and the cheese some stepwell to see the difference
topdressing with stepwell on the two im testing once a week as well, other wise just keeping at it this week as is, with some more defoliation and stress training. photos are being taken on two different phones sorry for quality
Little bit of spotting on the LSD, got a bit warm and I forgot to calmag the last week so oops. The LSD is a few days ahead of the PP at this point, and the cheese and the PK are at about the same pace but a week later. The PK and PP are starting to get their purple calyxes and the LSD is smelling of lemon bars. Also found some more lights , a 115w RA1000 from parfactworks and some 20w multicolor red and blue wand LED that I can adjust, all for 25 bucks at an amazon returns reseller. KRAZY BINS ftw for any of my Alberta people here in Canada!!
Well im excited to report that quickly comes the LSD harvest from Dr. seeds. A bit sooner than I had thought but heck, works for me I am running low anyways. Smells in the tent itself are pretty weak, but the plant reeks of lemon cream and patchouli, like baking with Grandma! Also harvesting the dr. seeds purple punch, she is very sticky love it. only feeding veg to the obi right now, bloom for all else.
This was great 10/10 will do again.!!! I really enjoyed the pheno that i got and the smells are out of this world, cant wait to smoke it and cant wait to press some rosin!
honestly it was great just wish i had more purple show up in it but man is she sticky im excited to try it out once it cures, my wife is excited too as it was her plant
well now that the tent is a bit more empty its time to decide what to do about the Obi wan OG. Currently she is my main mother plant for cutting clones for people but I kinda wanna flower her. Maybe ill start by taking a couple clones from her and seeing how they behave, if they grow like she is then send her to flower, if not well... maybe send her to flower and then clone her late like I had originally so that it has to re-veg. So many options with these plants. I also thought about grafting a bunch of other strains on her to see how many i could get to take.... marijuana grafts to many plants well... Only fed the obi veg topdress, everyone else got some bloom. Harvested the cheese and the pk
Deff a easy strain to grow but becasue shes so short training was difficult. would top next time. smells and looks awesome though cant wait to smoke it.
overall it was a success, smells amazing unlike what i have heard about this strain from others who got it from canuk. very nice look to it and grew amazingly well minus the balls
Well she seems to be alive if not a little scarred from her accident with the fan. Poor girl. Christmas eve she will get the flip, her and the SSLJ from the other diary.
