I’m in love with this strain and have kept it in my rotation for the last 3 grows. I’m also making two more new strains from this one. The Finger Lakes region of Upstate NY is known for it’s many wineries. Saperavi is a popular strain of wine grape grown in this region. Saperavi the cannabis strain was made by crossing Ethos Mandarin Kush and a purple pheno of ILGM ChemDawg. She has a very strong rotten grape,wine,citrus smell. Rosin produced from this strain has an incredible red wine taste that will truly surprise you! I’ve been working on these genetics for 14 months now and I’m finally satisfied with the results. Saperavi grows quite vigorously in veg and does best with some training and defoliation. I typically veg from 6-8 weeks and LST, and top. Saperavi requires 65-75 days of flowering time. Around week 6-8 of flower she will start showing some beautiful colors! Her leaves will turn from green to bright red,pink,purple and the flowers will be a gorgeous purple with orange pistils.
