Hello, there's a lot more space in here now with one chop complete. I'm just waiting for Amber to come so I can chop this one she's close but not quite ready ๐งโ๏ธ
@Seedsman, oh it wasn't the seed that was the problem I had just moved and things were so disorganized I didn't have the stuff to do my regular routine and that's what caused me to lose a few seedlings. I have to take the blame for this one.
Thanks again for stopping by
Cyrus
Thank you @Rosin710, I got them from Greybeard.com but they are from All American Seed they've been around for a while but they're not on the list of breeders here
@Cyrusdavirus - nice grows you have. I enjoy seeing the different techniques used. It's interesting to see people using the same techniques in different ways. I'll definitely watch as I know I can learn from you and others here. ๐
Thanks @sandspur, I love this great hobby and I like to try all kinds of different styles and putting my own twist on them I feel like when I was a kid playing in the sandbox ๐ ๐คฃ have a good one ๐ ๐
Are those the correct light heights you have listed? I just got the ES300 a couple weeks ago and was struggling to figure out how far to keep my plants from the light. Im going without using the dimmer.
I'd rather keep the light further away. Do you have any recommendations for light heights for seedling stage, vegetative stage and flowering stage?
I didn't wanna burn my girls but I also Def didn't want to keep them too far away. I'm switching from using a Mars Hydro TSL-2000. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
@Cyrusdavirus,
Thanks for responding. I was actually more worried about vegetative and flowering stages. I have a TSL2000 that I'm using for seedlings. I have 2 autos on day 17 that I have at 40 inches from the ES300 and an auto on day 27 that I have at 34 inches from the light.
I'm guessing those distances are good bc I don't see any signs of light burn at all. And yes, I've watched the videos. I prefer not to dim the light bc I have a perpetual grow going so I have plants that are in veg, pre-flower and bloom all under the ES300. It's just easier to raise the light up. Luckily I have a grow room and not a tent so so I have plenty of room to raise the light up higher if i need to
@JasonMichael420, I really like to keep my lights turned up as much as possible and use height more than dimming them. I think it gets your plants used to the amount of light and increase the intensity lowering the light isn't increasing the amount of light just the intensity, if that makes sense.
Yes the height listed is where I have them but I really can't suggest anything because this is literally my first full grow with these lights and I'm just trying to get used to them.
I can tell you that keeping the es300 at 100% is going to be hard to do. Because of the fact the es have lenses they are way more powerful than any other 330w light. Unless you have plenty of space above your plants I don't think you can run the es at 100% over seedlings I'd have to go look at the dimmer to be sure but I believe I had it set at 40' turned down to 4 on the dimmer and when they started growing the node spacing was still closer than I like and I raised the es another 8" this made my sativa stretch a little more than I like but did good on the indica next to them, I need to play with them more to find the happy spot.
At 100% you'd probably have to set the es 50-60" high until the seedlings are going good. Then even in flower you might be have to have them set 22-26" especially with autoflower plants, I have autos in the other tent and at 20" set on 9 I burned one of them.
Have you watched the video TGSC has on using the dimmer on the es? I like that Dan has the same mindset with running the lights turned up high as you can like I do because it makes following him easier
Thanks bro @DevilsBud, ๐ฌ oops this message is from a week ago I obviously missed it. The way we're notified of these messages makes it pretty easy to miss messages,,, of course it could be just me ๐
Thanks again @Sour_D, they are frosting up pretty good ๐ I was really worried about these because they didn't stretch very much but they are growing along ๐
Thanks allot @Sour_D, I'll definitely be growing more of the badazz so I can let it grow and see how fast I can get it into flower without holding it back
