First week in the new tent after picking these up from a friend who grew too many plants. They mentioned they used to use NFTG before switching to advanced, and gave me 7 gallons of nutrients. I decided to adopt a modified "Greek Regiment" and am currently feeding once a week with 2 waterings the rest of the week to maintain dampness, while avoiding over watering. If anyone has any suggestions or tips I would be very grateful as this is only my second grow.
Going into week 2, I am very pleased with all the new growth. Even after transplanting and defoliation the ladies are looking healthy and didn't even droop. I'm always nervous about over/under watering, but the foliar feeding in the early flowering stage seems to be going well!
The girls have been bright green for a couple of days on the new growth. I raised the lights up a bit to see if maybe they've been getting burned, TBF the lights were a little close anyways.
I skipped a day of water to see how they would fare with every other day watering, they did not like it. I will be sure to water at least 32oz a day to keep them moist but not drown in such a small fabric pot.
Because I am going into week three and already seeing trichome development I am going to be feeding 2 days a week, but still one gallon per plant in total. (if you have another suggestion I am open to listening)
I'm trying not to add or change to many things at once so I know what my variables are and what they caused.
Thanks for stopping in, have a great week, and happy growing!
Started mid-flower feeding this week, half gallon each on Mondays and Thursdays.
I can't believe how amazing these girls are doing with these nutrients!
Not much else to report on honestly, I received some companion plants in the form of Venus fly traps they seem to be working well for the dirt gnats. Not too worried about the pests though as they didn't really affect anything on my first grow either.
Thanks for stopping in have a great week and happy growing!
