Here we go again! The clone has shown a really impressive grown after the transplant in a bigger pot, so i've decided to top the plant to have a more bushy structure. The runtz muffin seems a good looking and healthy little plant, on the next week i think i'll start to feed them with bio grow
The clone has responded well to the topping done on the previous week, so i've bended the main stem doing some hst and spreaded out the branches to let them reach the light equally. The runtz muffin is still short and bushy, with her i'll do some lst.
I've started with some lst on the runtz muffin and on the clone to keep the side branches at the same height. I removed from the feed schedule the remo micro because i think it damages the plants in some kind of way, some leaves shown some deficiencies sd i think it's for that thing. From now on i'll use only bio grow, let's see what happens
On that week i've topped some side branches of the clone and done some lst on both plants. I see them happy now that i've removed the remo micro from the feeding schedule... I think it works best with his own nutrient line, we'll see that in future idk.
The plants look amazing so far! The clone has a lot (like, a really lot) of flower branches, i'm very curious about flipping her in flowering stage to see the result of that work. The runtz muffin looks great, it's a pretty small and bushy plant, personally i don't think that will be a massive productive strain, but that's not a problem for me. I want to reach the quality, not the quantity!
Last day of vegging! I've done a lot of work on the clone to build a nice structure and on the runtz to expose all the branches to the direct light. I'm pretty satisfied so far! Tomorrow i'll switch them to flower, let's see how it goes
First week of flowering! I'm very happy of that grow, now i'm trying to tie down some branches of the clone because it's a very bushy structure with thick branches, so it's difficult tu put under the direct light some hide branches with good potential. I'm proud of the runtz because that lst becomed what i've imagined. Now the branches are starting to stretch a little bit, for the next week i think i'll start with some defoliation in the less exposed parts of both plants.
I've started to do some defoliation to encrease the production of the branches in bigger flowers, both plants are looking good, i'll keep going like this from now on!
I've got some problems from the past two weeks: the plants becomed waker due to an infestation of spider mites. I've treated both plants with neem oil every 3 days and cut off the most damaged leaves. Now they seem happy but i'll take a look on them more frequently
Spider mites are like a finger in the butt, i hate them!!! Fortunately the plants are responding well to the treatments: i'm using a natural pesticide, i've lowered the temperature of the grow room, increased the humidity and started to use a little fan for the ventilation. The plants are slow but they're doing great so far, hope to see some serious nugs coming from that grow!
I think both plants are starting to do something, after standing there for those 4 weeks after the switch, finally! Spider mites are still there, but the plants are both happy so i think it's not a big deal anymore. I'll use some neem oil and some natural insecticide every 3-4 days until i don't see bugs anymore!
Unfortunately those plants haven't switched due to some light leak and some pests i think, i've tried to save both plants chopping all the branches and doing some clones bot none of them rooted, i'm very sad about that because i think of all the effort that i put in that grow...
