This is an F2 generation. This plant contains the following ancestors... -Afghani indica hash plant -North African Ketama (Moroccan hash plant) -South African Kwazulu sativa This female plant started to flower on day 30, starting from seed germination as of Nov 1st. The mother was a cross between what was most likely an Afghani indica hash plant crossed with a North African Ketama (Moroccan hash plant). The father was produced by crossing a South African Kwazulu female with a North African Ketama (Moroccan hash plant). So in essence both the maternal and paternal grandfathers are one and the same North African Ketama (Moroccan hash plant). The maternal grandmother is Afghani indica hash plant. The paternal grandmother is a South African Kwazulu sativa. Ergo, the name "African Love Shack". The dominant scent(s) are straight up Diesel, with strong Skunk side notes. The effects are generally uplifting, and non-sedating. This is an excellent smoke for day and night. Unless you are tired when you smoke it, it will not make you drowsy. It can be smoked throughout the day without putting you down for the count. On the flip side if you need something to ease you into a deeper sleep, this will get you there without extra effort. As an analgesic, it can subdue some serious chronic pain, without knocking you out. Nonetheless, consult a physician if you think you might need medical care. The smoke is pleasantly thick, yet not irritating. It has the typical taste and flavour of Moroccan hash. The only risk of coughing would come from its tendency to open and clear your airways. Given the heavy influence of the North African Ketama (Moroccan hash plant), this plant can be expected to have relatively significant fractions of the monoterpene Mercene. On that note Mercene upon exposure to UV light undergoes photo-oxidation, yielding Hashishene. Despite opinion and sentiments that drying cannabis in sunlight will ruin it, that is precisely the method by which traditional Moroccan hash acquires the unique constituent of Hashishene. As an aside, a earlier F1 plant from this breeding line was the only plant of an unrelated multitude that was saved from an otherwise untimely destruction. Accordingly a tester reports it produces dense colas that are typically the diameter of a pop can. Purple flowers are to be expected. Outdoors a 6ft. plant arrives with minimal effort. Yielding 400 grams of mature seed, and a further 16oz. of kiff is doable. All flower no seed would go much further.
