Planting went well and no sign for 3 days . On day 4 we have our first signs of green. Temp and humidity hold well in the tent and using clear cups as a humidity dome had an unexpected effect of keep Medium too wet as cups were too small.

Day 8 (I count from seed in medium) looking good and starting to see new growth in centre. I believe I over-watered in the first week as the girls seem a bit stunted. I've corrected the watering and happy to see new growth. Day 9 - I turned my light up to PAR 400 (according to app on phone). Temp shot up to 31°C and humidity dropped to 40% RH. I added my humidifier and that took care of my humidity problems, keeping me at mid 75%RH. Temps were still high with a max of 31.9°C until Lights off. When Temps settled to 20°C. Day 10 - with the Temps around 27, about an hour after Lights on, I was about to lower the room temp by opening the window. Environment now locked in at 27°C and 75%RH and she is loving it, with noticeable growth after a few hours 🙌

Hello, I'm on Day 11 from seed in Coco/perlite using dry Amendments. My girls are yellowing from centre out and have been stuned a few days now. I'm under the assumption it's over-watering. I've air rated, dropped humidity to 45-50%RH. Am I on the right path?

This is perfectly normal for how a seedling appears. At this stage she is busy making roots and should shoot up shortly, again, perfectly normal behaviour.

This was a hell of a week. This is my first time running coco and here is my struggle. Day 10 - I started to notice yellowing in the center of the first true leaves. I didn't think much of it as it was more lime green than yellow. Day 11 - I was running under the assumption that I had over watered my wee little girl. So I added a humidifier to get the RH to mid 70s. My thinking was the roots aren't ready to take water from the medium so the leaves can pull water from the air. I also set my light to max (still at 28") as my wee one was stretching. My temp was 28°C Day 12 - buy now I'm freaking out. I write a question here asking for help and I'm scrambling. I brought my lights down to 20" and dimmed to 60% as per the manual. I also removed the humidifier in an attempt to dry out the coco faster. By now I'm reading that it's super hard to over-water Coco and that your coco should never be dry. So I added some clear saucers under the pots for a reason I cannot remember right now and went to bed. Day 13 - on this day I said fuck it I'm gonna water this girl and see what happens. I thought I would give it a good shot so I did 250ml of water, added Blackstrap Molassis and Epsom salts. Now I'm under the assumption I'm lacking Cal-Mag. Watering with Epsom salts gave me the Mg. Lastly I added pot elevators. Day 14 - happy day as today the yellowing was much better and green coming back in the second set of leaves. Then I opened the tent and saw little flying bugs. Possibly fruit flies as my kitchen has had some lately. But either way I Sprayed the plants with an organic spray and let dry for 30 min then out back in tent. Temps have been holding steady for days at 25°C - 50-55 RH. Night time temp stay around 22-23°C Day 15 - Today, she is growing, and leaves are stretching out. I watered again at 500ml straight water and top dressed with Oyster Shell flour (Calcium) and Diatomaceous Earth for pest control. Lastly my exhaust fan speed controller and ducting arrived so my ventilation is now complete. Till next week, happy growing all. Cheers 🍻

Hello all and thank you for stopping by. Not much drama this week as things have settled down and we're finally seeing big growth. Day 16 - Really nothing happened here. I did water with my remaining BS Molassis/Epsom salt solution. PH corrected up to 6.5 Day 17 - Here is my only real drama. If you see in the corresponding picture I have shriveled and yellowed tines on my 3 bladed leaves. This is because I left my light to close for too long. Because I wasn't paying attention to the distance between the light and canopy (Only monitoring the height of the plant) for about 3 days the canopy was getting closer till this day when I realized. I raised the light to 20" about canopy and remaining at 60%. Good news is my exhaust fan controller switch and ducting came in. I set it up and love how much more stable my Temps and RH have become. Day 18 - Today I started bottom watering and what a difference I'm noticing. She just sucked up the water and the growth moving forward was satisfying. Day 19 - Just monitored the environment on this day. However the damage to the leaves is done but the colour came back so Ying yang ☯️ Day 20 - again nothing but monitor the environment. I started rotating the pots 1/4 turn per day Day 21 - Bottom watered today and she took almost 500ml. Sprayed top down As well to moisten top. Added sticky traps for pest control. Also adjusted light up an inch to please the canopy. Day 22 - Today I rotated the pot 1/4 turn, misted the top of coco and monitored environment. She has about 3 nodes now although tightly packed. Breeder did say she was a short bushy girl. Overall the plant is coming along nicely and I'm happy with her growth. The stunting could have been my over watering in seedling or maybe it wasn't that bad, looking back that is. Logging has helped me so much as I often feel I'm not doing enough, then look in my logs and see, no you did that shit yesterday. Thank you to everyone who said to keep notes. I listened and I'm indebted to you all. Cheers till next week 🌲🌬️

Again this week not a lot of Drama. The organic dry amendments way seems to just speak to me. So here's the run down. Day 23 - this day nothing to report. Environment is on point and she is happy. Day 24 - environment still holding steady at 25 and 50 to 55% RH. Bottom watered and she is loving life. Day 25 - Today is the start of LST. She has 5 nodes but they are tight. She is a little rough now. Day 26 - again much to note as this grown seems to handle itself. Tent is holding steady. Day 27 - today she is responding well. The bottom shoots, although small have turned and are coming up. Day 28 - today we finally have some work to do. Top dressed with Gaia Green Organic dry amendments 4-4-4, 2-8-4, Oyster Shell flour, mycrorriza, and worm castings. Watered in with a Blackstrap Molassis tea, PH to 6.6. Brewed/airaited for 24 hours.

Hello all and welcome back. We had a GOOD week. We are in flower and I couldn't be happier. This week was like most, just water when the pot is light. So here is the rundown. Day 30 - This day I rotated 1/4 turn to avoid hot spots with my light. I also added a humidifier to the tent. I purchased a large dehumidifier for my house as the sunshine coast is in full WET season. This brought my tent down to low 40's RH. Humidifier was set up to a timer, 30 on 30 off. This kept me pretty steady between 55 and 60%RH. And she loved it. Just blew up. Day 31 - nothing to do here but monitor the environment. All is well on this day. Day 32 - on this day we water 💧 🙂. I'm doing a combination on top watering and bottom watering. I top dressed last week so I top water to flush the amendments down and bottom water to ensure no dry spot in Coco. It's working very well. Day 33 - this day is a monitor day. Environment is holding steady at 26 and mid 50s RH Day 34 - this day we watch again. Everything holding steady. In the evening before bed I checked in and noticed on a few leaves I have "rust spots." Only about 4 leaves but still, I was concerned. I removed the humidifier to lower the RH. Day 35 - Continuing my only drama this week. In the morning, I watered, readjusted my LST ties and did some defoliation to the lower skirt any blocking prime bud sites that I can't tuck. I watered again this time with water ph set to 6.2. The rust looks like calcium or magnesium. Since I have Oyster Shell Flower (Calcium) in my mix and just top dressed a week ago, I thought it's more likely my mediums Ph swung a little high as my last watering was ph at 6.8 and I think my pen of off now. So I'm thinking small lockout. Watered with Epsom salts for Magnesium to be safe. Day 36 - Today no new rust spots and the ones there are same size. I'll find out in a few days if I caught the spread in time. So all seems well. Happy grow to all, and to all a good harvest!!

Week 3 of flower complete and an interesting week to re-count. Let's jump right in.... Day 37 - I feel like I should be reporting more the fact is the Candy Kush is happy and very healthy and notch to do but keep the environment steady and stay out of her way. So that's what I did. Day 38 - on this day I watered my lovely lady. She's adapted so well to the LST and just took off. She is the Candy of my eye. I was preparing to go to Vancouver for surgery so I gave a healthy top/bottom watering to cover for my time away. Day 39 - This day was travel day so before we left I checked environment and raised my light to 20" to allow room to grow. She grows an inch to 1.5" a day during stretch. And we're off. Day 40 - surgery day Day 41 - travel day Day 42 - after sleeping in my own bed I got up to water this morning. After 3 days she was just starting to drop her leaves. After watering she perked right back up again. I feel like my timing was good and suffered no issues. I also did some defoliation to clean up the bottom skirt. Day 43 - Today all is good. Environment is spot on, and she's a happy girl. Took off a few LG fan leaves blocking sites that cannot be tucked. So all in all a relatively easy week and a simple one for the Cabbage Farm. Thanks for checking in, I appreciate all your comments, likes, and feedback. Cheers 🌲🌬️ till next week.

This week was an easy but heartbreaking 💔. Let's jump in Day 44 - this day nothing was really done. She was watered a trimmed the day before so I let her recover and kept the tent closed all day Day 45 - again not much to do, (happy organic slow release feed dance) so i monitored the the environment and let the plant be. She likes alone time so win win. Day 46 - here's where we put the work in. On this day I decided to lollipop. Pics show before and after and I'm happy with the results. I also gave her a good watering after the trim and then let her be. Day 47 - Travelling to Vancouver again for a post op appointment to have my cast removed and fitted with a brace. Plus side my new rolling board came in and took it with me to film a stop motion video as a thank you/promo. You can check it out on my Instagram page linked to my profile. Day 48 - in Vancouver for appointment and traveling home. About 6 hour trip with 2 ferries. Day 49 - So I have 3 plants growing in my tent. 3 Candy Kush, same stain, same breeder, they were small Autos and I wanted to see how much I could grow in a 2x2. On this day I went into tent around an hour after Lights on and saw a huge fan leaf on the main stem of plant 3 (this diary covers plant 1 only) was covering 3 or 4 bud sites below it. I pinched the stem and twisted but instead of the leaf I got the top 4 nodes of the main stem. The pics show what I took off. I had just woken up and my arm was killing me. I was also feeling nauseous and light headed. This was not the time to go into the tent but it's only plucking 1 leaf right? I literally stared crying, closed the tent and didn't go back in till next day. I took no pics and documented nothing but the damage. Day 50 - Today all is well. My girl is growing bigger every day. Her buds are starting to stack up and its 😍. I misted the top soil to keep from drying out and rotated her to avoid hot spots. That brings this week to a close. Lots to do next week with top dressing for the final time and...... well that's it because this method is so easy. Cheers and happy growing to all.

I think your overfeeding already. Autos don't need very much food my friend. Pretty hard to overwater if your in coco. Make sure your feed for now is only at 250 ppm 0.5 ec and your ph should be between 5.5 to 6.0 with 5.8 being the sweet spot in coco. Those roots also want to spread so it is time to water to runoff, so you can check the levels inside the planter. Cheers and luck my friend. I grow soiless as well, so feel free to peek in. Max feed for autos in coco is 600 ppm 1.2 ec.

@GMSgrows, hi, I appreciate the help. First issue is, I haven't feed them yet. I'm using organic dry Amendments (Gaia Green 444, 284, and worm castings). Second is with organic Amendments I'm supposed to keep my PH between 6.2 and 6.8. If I keep it at 5.8, like bottle nutes, I will kill the microbial life as it too alkiline. Lastly I'm not supposed to water with run off as it depletes my Amendments. I'm not trying to be argumentative, this is just how I understand to grow this specific method. I've been giving them an oz every 4 days or so. I have a 3rd one in my tent, she is little (not even and inch above medium) in the same stalled place (first 2 serated leaves, second just growing) but no yellowing. My coco is still damp under the first 1in or so, this is why I think over watering but 2 are yellow and 1 is tiny but green with praying leaves. I'm stumped
