BadGrower Doing things a bit differently this time.
Starting off in the 4x4. Using the MarsHydro FC-E6500. Plenty of fans for air conditioning. Humidifier running too.
Going with a 70/30 coco perlite mix.
Dropped in 3 GSC Extreme and 1 Purple Haze. Hopefully this goes well :) we shall see.

BadGrower Sprouted on the 27th of October. Already noticing issues growing in coco. Turns out worm castings have a shit ton of fungus gnats in them when over watered. What did I do?…. Over water them -_- so fungus gnats are going crazy right now. Plan on getting more sticky traps and using a hose vacuum to suck them up until the population is significantly reduced. Ordering some hypoaspis miles to take care of the rest and for preventive measures down the road.
Also got an idea to add actual earth worms to the pot. Upon further research they are great companions and feed off of dead matter. So should be turning my dead matter into rich worm castings throughout the grow potentially?
Gonna do some experiments…. Stay tuned.
PS… only 3 of the 4 GSC popped. So I’m going to be doing a run of 3 in this tent.

BadGrower No week two pics. Forgot to take them. Sorry about that! Got week three though!
But for an update; More sticky traps have been placed down. Some issues with deficiencies but I believe that’s due to my erratic watering schedule. Trying to water much less this time to rid the fungus gnats. The traps, vacuum, and decreased watering have significantly killed off most of them. Now can adjust the watering times to a more appropriate and consistent amount. Ordered the hypoaspis miles and earth worms. 🤷♂️🏼 Here we go!

BadGrower Little HST. Gonna give it a few more days before strapping this bitch down. Plants are healthy. Slight calmag issues from coco. (First time in coco) but it’s being addressed. Expected to flip to flower in a week or 2. Depending on how the scrog goes 🤷♂️🏼 Never done that before either lol

BadGrower Last day of veg, these plants have maintained their height. Very much so growing outward and bushy without any training other than topping at the 5th node. Yes there are 5 nodes so far and all plants are showing sex. Tons of new growth. Sending them into flower today and will be putting down a scrog net on Wednesday. I was hesitant about starting flower today due to the plant height but all the reading I have done on this strain says 4/5 weeks veg and prepare for a big stretch in flower. So here we go!
Noted some purple on the stems however. I don’t think it’s a big issue or deficiencies due to me letting the temperatures flux slightly more than 10 degrees at night. Trying to let some purple hues come in during flower.

BadGrower Plants have been on autopilot pretty much. Defolianted twice before and recently it needs to be pulled again. Just watering when dry and adjusting the branches under the scrog daily to over that canopy :) fungus gnats are a little questionable but largely controlled and I think that’s just due to the amount of water these girls are needing. Which is more and more by the day. Week one done, let’s see if we can get through flower with no deficiencies 👌👌

BadGrower End of week 4 flower and going into the 5th. These girls are looking great! Buds starting to get icy and I believe the majority of plant stretching has been completed. No stress, no pests, no issues to report. Environment is on point too… onward! 😎

BadGrower Nothing new, just watering when dry. One plant has smaller buds for some reason. I haven’t done anything different to that plant and it looks healthy so I’m going to guess genetics. Onto the next.

BadGrower Week 7 complete. Just watering that’s all.
Really easy strain to grow. Harvested on the early side of things because I like more of a energetic smoke. Time to trim and hang.

BadGrower Buds turned out Big and dense. The scissor hash is pretty strong, a very good high if the flower resembles (I’m sure it will). Terps are high. The smell and resin is so much more overbearing. The high is a creeper. I was disappointed at first, 5 mins later chatty Kathy came to life. The high died slowly over 3/4 hours and I was left with a total body relaxation. Not couch locked but very relaxed. Slept so good last night lol.
Cheers ladies and gents 🤙🏼
How do you get the tight dense buds ? I been using the closet and a fan, awesome smoke just can’t get the dense bud. I actually cut off a bud before it was done and dried it and it was fire ! Great smoke and was stoned !
