ok so I made a major mistake y'all and it had me sick to my stomach. I noticed I had some thripes on my plants, So I panicked and put a bunch of neem oil on my plant with a spray bottle mixed with water and a drop of dish soap. I now know that when you do this you can actually burn your plant leaves. and almost take out your crop. Things I learned from this is to make sure I don't do this right when the lights turn on. I also realized I have to shake off the neem from the plants. This hurt my soul and i wanted to give up.
They started to bounce back from the neem drench I gave them. I started to feel better mentally. it was a rough week. I learned that I might be able to stop the thripes from reproducing if I put diatomaceous earth on the top of the soil. i noticed that i was still seeing them but there wasnt as much. Also if i seen them on the leaves i would squish them with my fingers.
I have never got plants this far and look this good. I'm super excited to see how this goes. This is my 3rd photo grow and my first 2 were garbage. but each grow they have looked better and better because each time I tried to analyze what I did wrong and do better the next time.. I'm a happy grower right now =]
