I dropped each seeds in their own glass of distilled water with a few drops of peroxide for 24hours, then pourred most of the water out , then with little water left i always put a papertowel on a plate, pour out the left over water with the seed onto the papertowel and then add the papertowel into a ziplock sandwich bag and blow into it before sealing it, a day later , i had a tap root with my 3 strains, except the purple haze(germinated a small tap root next day) i then prepared 4 small pots and individually addded the seed into the medium which is promix bx, i watered just a lil the area where the seed was after covering the seed . the Wedding Cake auto from papaseeds , followed by Strawberry auto by bloomroom, 3rd one out was RQS Royal Gorilla auto, the purple haze auto only showed itself 2 days later, so by this time PHA was 3 days behind. I kept them all under a HO T5 until the following week.
After my transplant of the seed into small pots , i left em a week or so do their thing, i should have transplanted the strawberry auto and wedding cake auto earlier as the last 2 days they were not looking happy, the purple haze auto and royal gorilla auto were still doing good. Other stuff in our lifes kept me from transplanting them , but on saturday october 23 2021 I couldnt wait any longer. I prepared the holes with a same size empty cup, poor some distilled water mixed with 2ml/g of fox farm big bloom , 2ml/g of miicrobial mass pro and 4ml/g and proceeded to transplant each ones then further water the plants around the plant not the entire pot. I turned on the light to 18-6 with my cmh 315 w. I took a look a few hours later and the strawberry auto and wedding cake auto were still getting adjusted while other 2 were looking fine...now on sunday morning all plants were much happier. strawberry and wedding cake are now praying nicely. this is the end of week 2, and monday starts week 3
for this update, I just added the needed distilled water as I know I was giving them a better feeding in a few days. Now October 27th, I mix the nutrients at half the requirements in a gallon of distilled water ph'ed @ 6.7 had to ph up to get it from 5.8 to 6.7, I watered further from the root ball to try to get em to strecth out their roots, nothing more to add...should see them expand in the next few days, and did remove 2 small leaves underneath the wedding cake hopefully she dont get stressed from it too much (they were yellowing from touching the wet medium probly). until next week.
I started lst-ing them with grow clips(will have to try them on my other grows not on autos for now) and ended up snapping the top of the royal gorilla and tapped it up surprisingly enough it wasn't super stressed afterwards and just tied em down with pipe cleaners, re-adjusted them a few things in course of the week. Also added a humidifier as couldn't get humidity past 40, now it stands steady at 60% for now .
Kicked off the reservoir on Wednesday nov. 3rd , had a little spill , stayed with it got em regulated and water is flowing. With the humidity up and reservoir supplied with water they are starting to take off in pre-flower. I gave them their 1st reservoir feeding only added 2 gallons on Saturday nov 6th and gave the rest on Sunday nov 7th. Now Sunday I turned on the submersible pump (don't really know if it should be on 24hrs/day but for now that's what it's on. Will see how they respond. Had bad news happen when I was re-adjusting the pipe cleaners , my light bulb stopped(burned out i guess) glad I was around to catch it. I waited a few minutes as the bulb was freaking hot. Glad I had a replacement handy.
Nov 14th - I've sorta left them do their thing after re-adjusting the pipe cleaner(I feel like they are far too leafy for good air circulation, I hope i dont get pm) I gave them their last feeding of veg and introducing flower nutes , they dont look like they are heavy drinkers. Thought they would start sucking up the water more thru their stretch but just constant. Now, late last week I noticed I thought my infinity 6" fan had crapped out, as it was working but no air was coming out the exhaust tube (was a little slow getting to it) but unhooked it today and plugged it by itself and works fine. So only other problem would be my carbon filter is clogged(so for now, its just my fan on, to try to control humidity as I'm struggling to keep it at 60% for now. They are stretching pretty good.
