bodonha These seeds are from another batch of mine, one of the girls got hermie (heat problems) and I managed to cirurgically make some seeds.
Got a keep a keen eye for bananas, I've read somewhere that hermie seeds might be hermie plants!
I germinated then on paper towels, then moved then to rockwool. I was too ansious to wait for the rockwool to arrive (:
First time on bubbleponics! Gotta keep 2 on dirt and 1 on dwc, but I'm already in love with the technique!
The soil is 33% peat, 33% vermiculite and 33% charcoal rice hull

bodonha Im very curious to see these outcomes. I've read hydroponics taste slightly less than regular dirt plants, gotta check that.
I will try to make some feminized seeds from one of them, as an experience. Never tried that before.
Next batch is probably going to be exclusively DWC, so much easier to handle, I'm in love!

bodonha I've shown some pics to a biologist friend of mine, she said the plants are clearly happy! So am I :D
They are double sizing quite fast. I'm gonna do some LST this week, not sure exactly how yet, but its time already!

bodonha Unfortunately 2 of 3 plants were male... These seeds came from a self-polinized hermie (due to heat stress) plant. I read somewhere that those hermie seeds would make hermie plants, but they clearly can also create male seeds.😒
So yeah, some nuts wasted, but im keeping this lady to the end. Watching her close for nasty bananas and balls...

bodonha She goes on fattening, and smelling very delicious. Nham nham! I've seen many brown crystals already, she is ripening faster than I expected... This might be the last week that i feed her, gonna flush and give plain water the next weekend.

bodonha I had to stay out for 5 days this week, fortunatelly nothing bad happened! I could smell her from outside of my house when I came back, lol
I've seen many brown trichomes already, gonna flush her today and change the feeding bucket to plain water only. Possibly harvesting her next weekend!
Very smooth growing experience! I noticed this strain doesnt grow very happy if temperature are over 28° C. Im in a warm country, midst summer - an AC was mandatory.

bodonha I harvested her 1 week before I did with her mom, and she is definetely stronger! Not as lemony as her mom, and I have no clue why, since they were fed just the same. The high is strong, but keeps me talkative and socializing...
Well hello, very good results on this strain, I remember when I grew my first auto AK, structure looks same as did on mine couple years ago - short and bushy. But just a quick tip though, should left it a bit longer, which we probably both know, and also very important, you want to flush the plant, and when you're flushing it, you want water to run clear from pot not brown, its very important on how the dry product will burn and taste! Also I loved you used 20/4 schedule as myself i'm an advocate for 24/0 schedule because why not? Autos don't need dark at all, they'll just grow faster the more light you give them. And every "Expert grower" will tell you to observe the plant, and you can see well in your grow, you chop it down too quickly, leaves were all green, it suppose to be all yellow and flushing also helps with that.
@Proto420, you against flushing?? That's new to me, could you elaborate a little bit more please?
I don't use to flush very much, but I had the idea it makes the taste better…?
@Mandarina, drop the BS about flushing. That’s bro-science. Don’t confuse the kid and everybody else. We want to slow the spread of misinformation. No use new growers seeing these sorts of comments and not knowing that these opinions are disproven many times over.
You think it does something? That’s great, do you. Don’t advise others to follow your unnecessary practices.
Cheers 🍻
