Hey look at that, week 1 begins.
3 had extremely long roots, they went into taller pots.
I had old shrimp compost, I used a ratio of roughly "that looks good" to "that's enough soil" or more closer to 1:20 application.
This is just to assist in bumping the seedlings rooting and shoots, its a 0.6-0.4-0.4 mixture that's degraded even further to burn less and will slow release over next month, should be able to wait an additional week or two before fertilizer application starts.
Watered 6.4pH with mist spray at end, 6.4pH water used to mix soil for transplant.
You'll notice I was pretty rough with em'. I usually am, it's very rare they die, let's hope I don't eat these words *knock on wood*. The trick is to not over water or under water them and the rest is usually just fluff worrying.
Let's find out! Day 1 begins 10-29
- Oct 31 -
So they went through water much faster than I expected and 1 is crinkled due to water/heat dmg combo but has recovered so far.
Checking daily for watering morning and night.
They're doing great otherwise. Will be topped on 4th node.
Watered at 50ppm (ppm comes from pH acid base) 6.4pH
- Nov 4 -
They're doing well. Not much else to say. Going to be 7-10 days before 4th node topping but probably closer to 14 days.
