Gilgamesh15 Increased light intensity to 500 mmol/sec/m2 (40% LED). Increased nutrients to 1.5ml/l. Started mainlining and manifold, with 1st topping (two branches) and 2nd topping (four branches); tying down the branches to create the manifold. Shoutout to the grower "nugbuckets," creator of the mainlining and manifold system, which I drew inspiration from!

Gilgamesh15 Increased LED light intensity to 60%, adjusting height from the canopy, to achieve an average PPFD of 500 mmol/sec/m2. Strong daily drop in pH, due to dirt residues in the system (4.5). Drained and flushed the entire system. Issue almost completely eliminated. Because of this, the leaves started curling and getting spots! Increased fertilizer dosage (2ml/l). Concentration at 1100 ppm (EC=2.2). Mainlining: performed 3rd topping and tied down the branches, to create 8 equal arms. Lost one branch at the 2nd topping, due to the fragility of the plant! So the branches became 6!!!

Gilgamesh15 - Lighting: raised LED lamp 40cm from the canopy. - RDWC system: nutrient pollution problem due to poor cleaning from the previous cycle. Every two days, the water filter needs to be cleaned of residue impurities. - Plants: both have yellowing older leaves (due to dirty RDWC system???). - Mainlining: final toppings to achieve the 8-arm manifold. I let them develop until the transition to flowering. - Vegetative control: the pH drops significantly every two days, I restore it with "pH+".

Gilgamesh15 - This week I didn't add any nutrients to the tank; I raised the pH with pH+ additive; I diluted the solution with osmosis water. - The solution consumption is evident, with a drop in the tank level. - I raised the LED light to 60cm from the canopy and increased the light intensity to 80%. - The average PPFD has been lowered to 400 mmol/sec/m2 to allow for more effective stretching of the branches. - The pH drop issue is being resolved..... - The problems with yellowing and curled leaves have almost disappeared..... - Every other day, I wash the roots with osmosis water; the RDWC water filter looks cleaner and cleaner! - I continued to train the branches with defoliation and tying. - Maybe I'm being too aggressive and one plant isn't able to stretch, staying compact (but in great health). - On each of the 8 branches, I'm letting develop another 4/5 shoots, to form a total of about 35/40 tops per plant, which will be evenly distributed under the LED light. - I still have doubts about CO2 delivery with a tank! It's too expensive. See you next week Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh15 Hello everyone, I hope that automatic translations don't change the meaning of my work!!! This week this happened: - Vegetative growth continues, with an increase in the length of the branches and foliage. Training of the branches continues, to create an even canopy, with tops equidistant from each other and from the LED lamp. Total consumption of nutrient solution verified, equal to about 300 Cl in 24 hours!!! - The fertilizers are calculated based on the EC, measuring it before and after administration. - The RDWC system is fed with osmosis water, at EC=0 and PH=7.0; to which Advanced Nutrients PH PERFECT fertilizers are added. - Moved the air circulation fan to the ceiling of the tent. - Removed the humidifier from the tent, as the plants appear lush and consume a lot of irrigation water (UR=55%). Lowered the temperature by 1°C to allow for better climate control. Carpe Diem Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh15 Hello everyone, Among the photos, I've included various scenarios of my growing system; I hope you like it and that it can be helpful for your needs. - First signs of flowering, female pistils are forming. - Another defoliation (the ladies are growing very well). - Adjusted LED lamp height to 100% light intensity; raised to about 70 cm from the canopy. - The first plant continues to grow less than the other; biological mystery! - I continue to administer fertilizers based on EC and not according to the Advanced Nutrients specifications, which are too high. - The pH has stabilized. In the first weeks, it fluctuated too much! (It first rose to 6.5, then dropped to 4.7!!!). Since this happens to me often, I think it's due to the adaptation to PH PERFECT fertilizers and Osmotic water!! Do you have any comments on this? Good life to everyone Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh15 Hello everyone Also this week, I'm trying to add details about my system. Fertilizers: - When the EC reached 3.0 (at this stage, it shouldn't exceed 2.8), I flushed the system and the roots with osmotic water, previously draining the RDWC system. - The excess fertilizers burned the tips of some leaves. - Added "Big Bud" and "Sensizym" to boost flowering and optimize rooting. - Advanced Nutrients fertilizers are very concentrated; they should be dosed carefully, keeping an eye on the EC and pH!! The portable "Bluelab" tool does the job perfectly. - The RDWC hydroponic system (deep water culture with recirculation) is very efficient, as long as it's paired with a chiller. Scientific studies say that roots submerged in water do not rot and absorb the maximum nutrients when it's highly oxygenated and at a temperature of 18-21°C! Plant growth: - A deep defoliation was performed to allow light to reach all the tops. - The tops are filling up with flowers! Happy growing everyone!!!

Gilgamesh15 Hello everyone, I have reached the 5th week of flowering. - The ladies are growing well and continue to bloom, producing fan leaves, which I am tactically removing to improve light penetration to the lower levels! - From an empirical check, I can say that both plants consume about 0.35 liters of nutrient solution per hour in the RDWC system! - The pH of the nutrient solution drops for no apparent reason! I keep bringing it back to optimal values with pH+ buffer! - I have administered "Sensizym" from Advanced Nutrients to optimize root health. - I lowered the LED light to 50 cm from the canopy to achieve optimal light intensity for the flowering stage. Happy harvesting everyone and see you next week. Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh15 Hi friends, Growth and flowering week. The climate conditions are always ensured by an air conditioner, two intake and exhaust fans, and an electronic regulator that manages the temperature and relative humidity settings! The air conditioning system is sealed to elevate the ambient CO2 level. Noteworthy is the gradual drop in pH, brought back to the nominal value with the addition of pH+. Fertilizers are always added considering the EC value, to avoid nutrient toxicity! The base fertilizer of the solution consists of "Grow, Micro, and Bloom" "pH PERFECT" from AN. Administration of "Big Bud" to plump the buds! Administration of "Sensizym" for root health. The vitamins from "B52" should never be missing in the nutrient solution! The EC is maintained in an optimal range for the growth period! The lamp stays close to the canopy to ensure suitable light intensity for flowering, monitored with a quantum photon flux meter. Good life to everyone from Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh15 Hey everyone, This week, the flowering has continued, with abundant trichome production and swelling of the buds. I noticed an unusual drop in pH at the beginning of the week, which I restored with pH+ buffer! The EC is rising, reaching 3.0 mS/cm, corresponding to 1,500 ppm!!! I'm not intervening, to allow the maximum nutrients to the buds (visual inspection of the plants shows no excessive nutrient burn). I added, in addition to the other fertilizers, Sensizym from Advanced Nutrients, to optimize root health! I must clarify that the amounts of fertilizers listed in the weekly schedule refer to the addition of osmosis water, as it's not advisable to flush the entire system but only to adjust it! Otherwise, a growing cycle would cost thousands of euros!!! The climate remains stable, managed by an electronic regulator, split system air conditioner, circulation fan, and exhaust. The expelled air is cleaned by an activated carbon filter to avoid dangerous odors! For clarity, I'll briefly describe the growing system: - RDWC hydroponic system (Deep Water Culture, with recirculation), with 2 pots and a 35L reservoir - LED Sonlight force lamp (vegetative and flowering) of 320W with Samsung white diodes and Osram red diodes (declared PPF 885 mmol/sec); Full Spectrum. - "Samsung" split system air conditioner of 12,000 Btu/h. I hope my information helps you with your needs. Hugs to all Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh15 Hey everyone, This week I administered Bud Candy from Advanced Nutrients; it's carbohydrates that swell and weigh down the buds. I continue to administer Sensizym to avoid root system toxicity. As I mentioned last week, I keep the EC high as long as the plants can handle the overfeeding! The buds and leaves are covered in trichomes, typical of White Widow. One plant has remained too compact and bushy; the light doesn't penetrate below. Harvest time is approaching! Good life to everyone Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh15 Hey everyone, Last days of fertilization before starting to flush the buds. The trichome snow has completely covered the buds and leaves, which under the microscope appear white and transparent; no signs of milky or amber!!! I diluted the nutrient solution in the RDWC system with osmosis water to lower the EC that was getting too high (brought from 3.6 to 2.8 mS/cm). I added Big Bud to further swell the buds (along with Bud Candy). The branches are bending under the weight of the buds, which keep getting heavier! I can't photograph the roots, but I assure you they've completely filled the pot! The RDWC system highlights the importance of putting one plant per pot to avoid tangling between the plants. From a light intensity check with the PAR meter, I recorded an average PPFD of about 800 mmol/sec/m2, which is excellent for this flowering stage! (Unfortunately, I don't have photos of this). I won't go into other technical aspects that I've already described before. Good life to everyone Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh15 Hi everyone, This week the flowers continue to mature; the trichomes are still clear, so it’s not time to harvest yet! I keep the nutrient reservoir at a minimum level, waiting for the harvest, so I don’t waste anything (topped up with 10 liters of osmosis water). I haven’t added any nutrients; just a bit of Bud Candy (carbohydrates) to bulk up the buds. I continue to highlight, photographically, the stability of the temperature and relative humidity in the tent, thanks to total climate control, with a split system and exhaust fan. The buds keep getting heavier, but the final yield won’t be the best; one of the two plants has remained too compact! Did I stress it too much during training? Does anyone want to offer some constructive criticism? Thanks to everyone who stops by to visit me! Good Life to all Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh15 Hi everyone, At the beginning of the week, I stop the fertilizers and start circulating the flawless finish from Advanced Nutrients, for flushing the buds. By mid-week, the flowers are ripe. At the end of the week, I decide to cut. The roots look a bit colored (?). As already mentioned, B is much smaller than A. I cut the branches, hang them upside down in the tent, with T at 23°C and RH at 60%. This is followed by a controlled drying period. Next time will be for the results. Good Life to everyone Gilgamesh

Gilgamesh15 White Widow by Dutch Passion is the original genetics! This is the third time I'm growing it; every time it positively surprises me! Unfortunately, one plant yielded very little, but the other made up for it!!! I highly recommend it! What it ultimately produces makes all the sacrifices to finish it worth it.
