Filled the DWC Bucket with 20 Liters of Tab water with an EC of 0.4.
Only added some Aqua Vega and Rhizotonic.
Will change the entire medium in 4 days.
Plants are developing roots as expected.
Did encounter some signs of deficiency on both plants it looks like zinc.
Which is pretty unusual since the aqua vega nutrients are complete nutrients.
I’ll wont add any extra nutes for now and see if the plant will recover by itself.
Only old leaves are effected and the New leaves look fine.
As expected the signs of deficiency started to dissappear once the roots were formed
D19: topped #1
D21: did some cleaning of the roots of #1
D22: topped #2 and switched the light to 20/4
Been a week now since the topping.
Will let them recover for another week and then will do the second topping.
#2 catched up with #1 and even seems to be surpassing #1 in growth.
(Can be related to removing some roots of #1 last week)
D29:
Switched the nutrients for plain water with lowered PH to flush since the leafs are curling down which could be due too much nitrogen. Will put nutes back on day 31.
D30:
Used RQS bending clips to do some early Low stress training.
Wanted to go for a mainlining technique but changed my mind eventually.
Instead of mainlining I will do 2 toppings and LST to create 8 main cola’s per plant.
Accidentally broke one of the main-branches.
Luckily one side node was still attached :)
The plant is doing really good, has big fan leaves and looks healthy overall.
Topped it 3 days ago and will let it rest for a 4 more days before putting the clock on 12/12.
Flower period has started.
The plant in the back is 60 cm tall and the plant in the front is 50 cm tall.
The back one is showing some signs of nute burn so I flushed the plant for 48 hours with plain water and now adding some extra Calcium since it also showed brown spots on older leaves.
Plant 2 seems to be a bit behind on plant 1
They evened out pretty nicely.
I’ll probably have to harvest plant 2 a bit later but lets see how the following weeks will g(r)o(w) :)
Proud to announced I purchased the Mara hydro TS1000, I was still using an old reflector series which I’ve been using for 6 years now. Time for a change :)
The TS1000 is silent and has a really high ppfd output.
This week I added PK13/14 to enhance the volume.
After 3 weeks of flowering the nugs of #1 are already looking very mature already.
#2 has stopped growing in height and is now focusing on building Volume.
Let the mass gains begin!!!
Still going strong, the plant has a very potent smell.
Plant 1 will be done flowering in about 4 weeks and plant 2 will probably need 1 or 2 weeks extra.
It’s really cool to see that even though it’s the same genetics the Pheno’s are different in Growth and flower speed.
