Very excited for my first grow! There are so many great resources online, I was encouraged to give this a try even though I was intimidated at first. The Kush Grow Kit put together a lot of the items which made it easy to get started. I added the grow tent and the fans and we're ready to grow. The kit recommended no nutrients for the first 2-3 weeks, so I'm waiting two weeks to add their vegetation nutrients. If anyone has a good reason to add them earlier, please comment! As far as light schedule, I was planning on doing 18 or 20 hours, but my buddy was like "what the heck?" let's just do 24/7. If anyone has a good reason to do less, please comment!

Hi , I think the plants might be a little close together , and I personally go 7-10 days before nutrients , and then slowly build up the concentration, it looks like you have thought it through , so good luck 👍 Ps oxygen to the roots is Very important 🌱

Hey mate! Great set up, I get my tent tomorrow sometime noon and seriously hope she looks as good as yours. First off what I've seen is 1 week ph controlled RO water then slightly introduce your nutrients to your plants. I always referred to the dosing chart on my nutrients. I want to introduce a small amount of nutrients within the first week to harden my plant , but everybody has their ways and opinions when it comes to the propagation period, I like to hear them all out. As far as lights go, I've seen good results 24/7 but personally like 18-6 or 20-4 as I believe the plants deserve some rest.

@Finitos, I definitely recommend the exhaust kit thus far. Very good price. The fan is quite substantial and it's surprisingly quiet.

Perfect mate ! I think you'll enjoy the 24/7 setting, really nothing to fringe about. I'll be keeping a close eye, I have worries about heat issues within my tent, I'll be keeping tabs to see how it goes for you! Happy grows mate !!! And if I may, do you recommend your exhaust kit? That's my next purchase.

@Finitos, Thanks man! I just ordered a pH up/down kit so I'll get that sorted asap. And I'll look at intro'ing the nutrients maybe a little before 2 weeks. As I said, I was planning on 18-20 hours of light but my buddy was like "F it!". I may have to reel him in :) Looking forward to seeing your tent set up!

@BigDaddyK, thank you for your input. Looking around at other diaries, looks like you may be right about too many plants in this space. Well, this is my first grow so we'll see what happens :) I will wait 7-10 days to add nutrients. And I am going to keep an eye on my air pump to make sure that air stone is bubbling. THANKS guys!

If I were you I would use a root it cube for the seed and surround by pebbles , it helps keep moisture in , but you must remember to rip off corner and stick in top , so seed is in darkness , they are sprouted within 5 days

@TaNg, honored by your presence Master TaNg! If you have any wisdom to share, I'd appreciate it. Trying to figure out why my seedlings are so shy. Too cold in the tent? Rockwool too wet? Something else I'm not thinking of?

it's looking like your roots are stretching vertically and not horizontally, therefore having your plant trying to stretch vertically and not horizontally stretching. honestly I would transpant into Coco coir, and look into floraflex drip systems for your next run.

try to get your ph to 5.6-5.9 let it rise to 6.5 then lower back to 5.6 repeat till harvest.

make sure to cover the empty holes in your tub with tin foil to keep the light out of your bucket and make sure to PH your water to 5.8 or so. I think 6.8 for hydro is too high.

I would recommend turning off fan and trying to raise a temperature as your is quite low I would guess.
