My first ever grow. I'm growing in a modified fabric clothing wardrobe. I'm using one 65w and one 80w quantum board LED (LM281B). I think ive make a mistake buying china stuff from online rather than just adding few more money and buy a proper brand. Anyways lets see how it goes. I bought the cheapest seed I can find in Seedcity and I chose this strain from seedstoker because its the cheapest seed I can find. ( Cannabis is super illegal in my country and I did this (choosing cheap seed) just to test the water to see whether seeds can pass my country custom. Surely will buy more new and advance strain next time.) I'm totally new to this growing and I have none friend who grow too that I can refer. Ive been smoking brick cannabis for 15 years and I've decided I should try to grow and smoke the real thing because weed is the thing I smoke everyday. so I hope by putting it here open to the grower community you guys can point out my mistake or any concern throughout the growing process so that I can finally smoke a proper well cultivated cannabis from known strain. Don't be shy to comment okay.
***day 1 (10/11)
- Planting seed directly in the soil mix...light water than cover it with plastic cup.
***day 2 (11/11)
- Nothing happen. Spray more water lightly on the planted seed.
***day 3 (12/11)
- In the morning, was curious and anxious so i scratch some of the top soil in order to find the seed. I just scratch very gently one time and i can directly see the seed looking white-ish. pretty sure its germinated so was relive. at late evening, seed start to sprouting. been covering it because humidity in my tent are still low. I've decided to run the light 24 hour and start the 18/6 cycle the next day. A lot of effort and observation are being done thru the night to increase humidity but I can only raise it to 70% max after spraying inside, putting water container , putting older plant inside but it will still dropping.
***day 4 (13/11)
- (10am)wake up in the morning and my bigbud is looking like in the picture (ref 1). Humidity is still low at 50%. Temperature are okay. Been spraying ph balance water mistily in the tent and around the plant. I've decided to buy a humidifier today and lets see what happen later.
***day 7 (16/11)
- still struggling with low humidity. waiting for ordered humidifier to reach me..temperature is always between 27-30'c. today i mix 3 litre of ph balance water with 30ml of growth nutes and water 200ml into pot.

- mix nourish nutes 5ml (4-0-1) with 500ml of ph balance water.

-mixing and water it 500ml of ph 6.5 water with 5ml noursh and 2.5ml growth. Bought a new fan..now Temp and HD are more stable..temp around 25-26'C, HD around 60-65%

-raise the led to 60cm from plant because i think it looks overheat. and also might over water it..will stop watering til its dry.
**day 12 (21/11).
-3 leave are getting obvious.this morning check temp are perfect 27'C...humidity is 66%..kinda improve because one of the two fan is broken...but temp are still manageable. after increasing led height, leaf color improve a bit. today I increase it again to 70cm.. growth are still slow for me.

-grew a bit..today my humidifier came..so i diy an icevream box for the humidifier reservoir. TEMP tonight 27'C, HUMI 65%.
**day 14 (23/11)
-last day of second week. 2ND set of tru leave are becoming more bigger and the 3rd set starting to see.

-Today entering 3rd week from germination. I pour 250ml of 6.4 ph water mix with 2.5ml nourish, 1.5ml for growth and bloom. I pour only on the circling around it to avoid the nutrient water in contact with the plant.

-Adding 2 cpu fan on my QB led to cool them off.

- plant seems drooping after lst..water 300ml ph bal water with 2mg calmag, 3mg nourish, 2.5ml of bloom and growth...make some adjustment to the lst..spread it even more and now i think im overdoing it.

-welcome to another new week. today water 300ml of water only..then reopen the small lst and just leave the one main one tying down the top of the plant to soil.

-today just spray all the foliar with water. LST still in early stage so i dont think i want to take picture.

- noticing some of the new growth is yellowing. might be iron defiency due to soil ph too high.today water 300ml of water mix with 1 mg of calmag, 2.5ml of nourish and growth and 2ml of bloom.
**DAY 31 (11/12)
-did lst again because it grow so fast. spread nicely now and then spray the foliar and gave 300ml water mix with 2mg calmag, 3mg of all 3 nutes. Raise the light to 70cm

-still not watering. wanted to dry it off completely to see whether i can resolve the yellowing issue. adjusting lst today..plant is too short and bushy.

-water 500ml mix with 3ml calmag and 5ml of all 3 nutes..yellowing leave seems to recover.
**DAY 34 (15/12) FLOWERING TIME
-no water today. keep observing the yellowing..some of it are turning green back so definately iron lockout..dry them out seems working. i think i found 1st pistil at the main top colas.

-adjusting lst again..it begun to grow upward now all the colas are nicely spread. water 700ml of water mix with 2mg of calmag, 5ml of nourish and 7ml of growth and bloom.. comfirm first spot of pistil.turn on the red led on the light (bloom mode).

-did nothing.yellowing is healing to green back...everything starting to grow upward.
**DAY 37 (18/12)
-water 700ml of water mix with 2ml calmag 7ml of all 3 nute.

-check and tuck in only. lower the light to 60cm

-water 400ml of water with 1ml of calmag and 7ml of bloom. yellowing getting greener. cut and throw 4 very bottom leaf that touches the soil.

-nothing was done today. its the last day of 6th week. YEPI

-This is the 8th day after the appearance of first pistil. But i will consider this week as 1st week of true flowering where all the colas appeared pistil on them. Detect few of the leave are burning at end. I hope its a sign of over nute because i know i only overdo it a lil bit because i was skeptical about the recomendation dosage from the nute company. Today water with 500ml of ph balance water of 6.4. Very hard to maintain tempt below 30-29 during hotday. Everything seems fine.

-Heavy defoliation today. I hope its the final one. Some of the leave are starting to produce trichrome. Water 1L of water mix 15ml of bloom today.

-water 1L mix 15ml growth, 20ml bloom, 5ml calmag. Crank the aircond..Raise the heat..I read somewhere that its the heat that make buds not mature. Hmm..Now temp is 25"c and humidity is 62%.
DAY 68 (18/1)
-last day of the 4th flowering week. Heavy defoliate today. And add 1L water only. At evening she already dried up. Some of the buds pistil are turning orange but the buds itself still not mature. Maybe lockout? tempting to flush it.hmm

-new week new growth new watering measure..water 2L today with light nute..10ml bloom and 10ml growth and 3ml calmag. Lets see how fast they drink.

-as 7pm, the soil is still abit damp. Water 500ml only. One of the colas are starting to fattening up. :)

-water 2L mix with 25ml bloom and idk maybe like 5ml of calmag. I remove all the leave with brown spotted.

-WOW. Buds are fattening. spotted some leave have really red vein but everything else is okay so maybe just genetics. Gonna water 1.5L only because 2L does not make it dry in 24 hr. ..idk why but I feel the need to flushing because the problem is my plastic pot dont have enuf holes. And when I put the soil last time I layer the base with tissue towel and crushed egg skin ( because im dumb thinking tissue towel will go away rotten if its stay there nicely untouched.stupid logic). So, I carved and make holes at bottom of the pot.. Poked the holes nicely. Insert ph soil reader into soil (ouch root), wow..very low almost under ph3. So I pour 10 litre of ph 6.5 water..let it drench...now it really drains well like a rain. Soil Ph is 6 now so i decided to pour 2 more litre of ph 9 water to in effort to raise bit more of the soil ph. I dont know whether the ph meter react to water or the reading will be different when its dry..Who cares. I got low knowledge about flushing.. Lotsa info in google are quite confusing and incomplete. Finally, I pour 1L of 6.5ph water mix 25ml bloom, 10ml growth and 10ml calmag.

-Woke up today and enter the room with very strong earthy smell..When I open the tent, it looks very different after flushing..Everything is blooming. Water 200ml water with few doses of bloom and calmag.

-It is 11 weeks now. Plant looking good. Water 1L water with 25 bloom and 5ml calmag. There's few brown spot on leave. Could be calmag issue.

-still very damp. Trich is so thick. Raise my 85w and 200w led a bit higher maybe almost 1m because I want it to be bit cooler for this oldie and I think I over light my younger plant.

-top soil just dried. 3 Inch under still damp.

-checked the trich...amber colour is only like 5% so I think I still have time to dry everything out. Planning to chop down on Friday.

-everything is drying up and yellowing
This grow took exactly 15 months to complete.It got 15 colas. Trichrome developed really well, Buds are dense and big. Too dense and thick until it makes very hard to trim, that's why I ended up choosing to do dry trimming instead wet. I did a lot of stupid stuff that may cause this extension of time. Started with a poor man setup and gradually upgrade to a proper tent. The most awesome thing about this grow is I only use cheap fertilizer from my place that cost only 17 dollar containing 1L of nourish, 1L of growth , 1L of bloom and 1L of calmag. I proof to myself and you all that you dont need super expensive nutes to grow. Even my lamp is only cost less than 100 dollar for all that I listed down (1xQB65w,1xQB85 and LED lamp from China 200w).. No exhaust fan and no fancy soil. I just use 15L of 10 in 1 soil that cost less than 6 dollar. And to add, I only use small amount of nourish and growth since the soil is full of nute. I only use my bloom up to 300ml and even that I think I overfed them. Bigbud is really a wonderful strain. It did not goes into any serius problem eventho i made a lot of mistake and overdo things. Humidity sometimes reach 90% (im from tropical asia country)...temp up to 33'C if forgot to on AC sometimes and it still grow really well with NO MOLD at all. I am a really true first timer grower. I dont have any friends to refer nor that ever see anyone growing.. I never see a live plant infront of my eyes because all this while ive been smoking only brick cannabis for 16 years. I only use the internet to help me. And ofcoz this wonderful community from GD. Everthing is trial and error but luckily error can be avoided. Im submiting this to the newbie contest. WISH ME LUCK 👊 *theres no dry bud weight yet coz it is still in drying process.
