All seeds were planted directly in canna coco with 15% worm castings and 5% perlite.
RH didn’t drop past 70% and didn’t make it past 80%, I have a humidifier (with clean, neutral ph water) to help with controlling this, along with a fan to push the air around the room (aimed at wall not the plants.) I had the fan a little lower than the led to help with cooling as my temps were fluctuating from 25c to 30c, not sure if that kind of heat will negatively impact growth etc.? Leave comments.
All seeds germinated. I have x2 dinafem fruit autos in the bunch. Will add other diaries for the other strains.
So far looking healthy, the leaves aren’t looking curly or mutated.
No lollipop stem so the light is at a great height, at about 60-65cm from the top leaves, the light is running 24hours on full blast 😎
Just feeding water at 6 - 6.5 ph till start of week 2.
I have the tent vents all open and any open holes covered with car window mesh, to allow fresh air to flow in. I played around with my tent to see what I could keep open and what I would have to close shut to keep the humidity at 70 - 80% and the temps above 24c !!
Any questions or tips, leave them below 🍁 happy growing!
Started feeding nutes exactly 8 days since the seed was planted, was very sceptical but also felt experimental so will see how they go!
Feed consists of Terra Aquatica tri part nutrients (gro, micro, bloom)
I also add 2 ml of green planet - pro cal per gallon of water. I do a ph test after adding the nutrients in my solution.
RH is 65 - 70%
Temps : day 28c and night 24c
Still unsure if I’m going right about the hotter temps (so far no heat burn) I have kept the light between 55 - 60cm from the top leaves so should be fine 👍 happy so far. No stretching and looking well balanced.
*noticed the stem has a light pinkish colour, and slight grape scent
Plants are growing crazy good, looking like they hold a lot of promise, same rh and temps.
Same feed schedule but will up next water.
Vigorous growth, no burn. Looking great.
week 3 already! Definitely time to transplant! Will be going into 5 gallon bags with the same ratio blend of coco, worm castings and perlite that I started with.
I have changed the amounts of nutrients used for feeding. After experimenting around I have decided to make up my watering solution using this method.
First I will fill up a 10L bucket of tap water.
I will add just under 1ml of PH down, 1ml tap water conditioner and also 1 ml of BIO STARTER!!
Then I will let the bucket sit outside for 24 hours to help further dechlorinate. After 24hrs I will then add 3.7 L of the water to my watering can, add my nutrients and then I will PH to 6.3
The remaining water can be used for flushing the plants if needed, Or as a quick refill.
Now I added bio starter because it provides beneficial bacteria that helps prevent nitrate and ammonia spikes. Since I am upping the amount of nutrients, and the fact that the plants are only just over 2 weeks old, means there is a good risk of causing nitrate burn so this should help minimise the risk.
There can also be high levels of ammonia in tap water so this will also help keep that under control. You can buy this from most pet/aquarium shops.
All is well, the Autos are loving the feed Schedule I am currently using.
The leaves are thick and succulent, very furry looking stem. Overall, plants are looking very healthy and are growing fast! Pretty happy so far as this is my first grow.
Any questions please ask, and if you have any tips let me know! Follow this for more future updates and for my other strains!
Happy growing everyone 😎
The plant turned out to be a photoperiod and I am unsure if the seed tender has sold me the right seeds. The plant smells weird... like onion sort of... very leafy and very very sensitive to humidity and mould. This was not an easy grow by far, I was constantly maintaining these fruit autos and it just hard such an odd structure. I would say grow these lower THC strains (under 20% thc) in super organic soil. Coco was what i was using with some worm castings as a top dress throughout flower.
Plants still have a weird onion smell and low trichome production so far. Looks nice though. The plant is short and wide, needs daily maintenance of LST adjustments etc. It is sensitive to over watering, nutes and humidity. Not very resilient. I have had to swap inside tent on the rainy days and they go back out when the sun is out.
Definitely night smoke as it feels like your smoking more plant matter than terps/trichs and gives a headache. Due to the low trichome development genetics. I think its only around 14%thc.
Had to harvest due to pest issues. The plants bulked up but very leafy all throughout flower. It did get a nicer smell but nothing that took my breath away, atleast not like onion anyway. The plant weighed abit and the nugs were packed, still not a very terpy profile or resinous as much as id hoped. Wont be growing this strain again I reckon. Its good for someone who likes a puff here and there with a mild strain that wont last long. I have had worse strains but so far my least favourite grow but hey I grew within myself so it was not in vain. Enjoy familia.
Pasate por mi diario !!! Estoy cultivando también la Fruit. Esta ya por la semana 11.
Empieza ya el método LST ya que tiene un genética muy vigorosa.
un saludo y suerte con el cultivo! ! ! 🙏
@Kali420Autoflower,
Hello freind, the fruit did not turn out so great unfortunately :( they turned out to be photoperiods and only finished up a few weeks ago... they had a funny onion smell and very sensitive to mould issues. The smoke was okay but not the greatest high. Im guessing I was sold bad seeds... dont buy from haze.io 😂😂
I will check yours out now. Thanks for the comment!
