BAM!👊 Sapphire Scout: "Sapphire Scout seeds' parents, the famous Girl Scout Cookies and a selected True OG, boast lots of hype and bag appeal. The resulting hybrid is a stunning marijuana plant that oozes quality and that yields buds wrapped in a delicious subtle grape aroma. A short growth is recommended indoors while outdoors the greenhouse and dry, warm, temperate and Mediterranean climates are preferred. The production of resin is above average. Sapphire Scout casts a spell on you from the very outset. The flavor is sweet and gassy with hints of blueberries and diesel. With a THC level of 27%, this is followed by an extremely potent high that soothes the body and mind. Perfect for unwinding or when you need a good night's sleep." -source- Website Genotype 70% Indica / 30% Sativa Cross Girl Scout Cookies x True OG Suitable for Indoors and outdoors Indoor: flowering 65-70 days Indoor yield 400-600 g/m2 Outdoor: harvest time Mid-October Outdoor yield 2500-3500 g/plant Outdoor height 3-4 m THC 27% CBD 0.1% THC/CBD ratio 270:1 Germination: -18Hr soak -Placed in paper towel… usually use coffee filters. Approximately 35Hrs, roots were about ¾ inch long.👌 -The reason behind using coffee filters… I had some seeds root right into the paper towel. After removing as much as I could, some of the paper towel had to be planted with it. Not sure if affected the grow since I was very Newbie! -Two out of two germinated for me. 100%😍 -Placed seed in solo cup under 75w LED. -Moved seedlings under 👉UF2000 -Watering: Maybe 30ml... -Mist 2/day -Temp 25C -Humidity 62% Grow Room: 3x5 Area 75w LED UF-2000 by Unit Farm. I try and water the mix 2-3 days before seed goes in, that way the soil has plenty of time to activate and be ready to go!👌 I think that's it... BAM!! Happy Growing!👉😀👈

Quick Start to the Week!💪 Once I moved the girls to the UF2000 light, they certainly took off. One of the Scouts is still lagging behind, but she'll catch up I am very surprised on their Growth...😲 When the leaves touch or go over the edge of the solo cup, that's when I usually transplant. That usually happens on week three, but here we are. Forgot to grab some pics of their root system... SS is very similar to her cousins... Big Tuna. They didn't have much of a root ball, but the roots were nice and white. Prepared the pots... Filled 1/4 pot with Kyrptonite, then a mix of Pro-mix and Kyrptonite to finish it off. Ratio: 1/1 cups with 1/2 cup Perlite. What I have learned from using kryptonite is having to transplant twice. First pot for Veg, Second pot for Flower... -Solo cup to a 2 Gallon pot -Train as needed (I like to mainline) -2 gallon pot to a 7 gallon fabric pot. -Switch to 12/12 on second transplant so there is enough nutrients for the next 8-12 weeks. Sapphire Scout stayed under the UF2000 for a couple more days for recovery. Moved them to the main Grow Room (4x5) and under the BP4000. Gave the girls about 1/4 cup of water on transplant then 1/2 cup of water when moved to main room Water is at 7pH from tap, and the soil will regulate it... 6.4pH Still has me surprised on how quick they grow up!😍 Smoke 'Em if ya got 'Em!!! Happy Growing! 👉😁👈

Another stunning week!😲 The girls doubled in size from 2.5 to 5 inches this week... the runt is about 4 inches Sapphire Scouts leaves are nice and green, but the runt is having some stress issues...😕 a couple of her leaves are canoeing upwards... I'm thinking it's wind stress since their cousins had some leaf damage as well. 4 fans in the room, 2 oscillating and 1 stationary and one exhaust... had to adjust fans so the wind is on the girls to strengthen them, but not take damage. Both girls seem to have the same characteristics... except one is a little stunted/slow... but their nodes are very similar. The 4th nodes are starting... next week will probably be the training. Having a issue with the heat being a little high... that also could be causing the extra stress to the runt. Humidity is being a complete dick right now...😡 sometimes it's dropping into the 38% range. I do have a humidifier going, just struggling to keep it consistent in the 40%-50% ranges. Watering is now at 1 cup every 2-3 days... depending on the heat/humidity on watering day... I adjusted the light around 20-22 inch range. Might be a little much for these girls right now... keeping a close eye on them... And on that note.... Happy Vaping! 👉😀👈

New Week again! The week started out in two directions... one girl growing and getting ready to be topped and the other girl stressing out from heat/lights...😲 - Topped SS#1 day one - Next day topped SS#2 Sometimes you can get away with topping when the plant is stressing... it will direct its energy into the surviving nodes... hope it works.😬 SS#1 will get the eight arm mainline and SS#2 will stay with four arms (maybe help with stress/stunting). Used the heavier garden stakes on SS#1, I find they work better for keeping the arms horizontal... the girls can get quite strong real fast.💪 I noticed some stress marks on SS#2 mid-week. It kinda looks like a pH fluctuation, but I'll rule it as heat/light stress for now. They are the bottom leaves so I'll just remove them. End of the week I started some LST on SS#2, I'm hoping this will be her jam!😁 - Watered the girls mid-week and the end of the week... 500ml each both times. - Humidity is still not where I want it... (would like 50%+) - Dimmed the lights on occasion to help with the heat and light stress. The wonders of the next week...😜 Happy Trimming! 👉😂👈

Hey all! 😀 The week started off really decent. SS#1 got topped again, now she's supporting four arms. SS#2 recovered great... she got her colour back and she is also rocking four arms. Fast forward to end of week, and everything went opposite from last week. SS#2 is growing very nicely, but SS#1 is suffering from heat/light stress... at least that's what I thought a first. I believe it is now from my pH being off... the soil usually regulates the pH, so I'm not sure what threw it off.😲 Nothing is going wrong with their cousins Big Tuna, they get the same soil and watering as Sapphire scout. I think with the pH fluctuation, it caused a copper deficiency. Good news is, since SS#2 bounced back in a few days, I'm hoping SS#1 will too. Definitely going to keep an eye on them! Will test the pH from the run off on the next big watering. The temp outside is getting colder, which is helping to regulate the heat in the room. Still fighting a little bit with the humidity... would like to have it around 50%. The girls drank twice this week... about 750ml each on both days. 👍 I'm not sure if I will continue with the true mainline of eight arms for either girl... They might just have four big ass arms instead!💪 Let's see how the next week ends! Thanks for watching! Happy Growing!👉😀👈

We're Back!😝 Sapphire Scout is keeping me on my toes... I thought at first it was the intensity of the light that was causing issues. Then I thought it was a pH issue, but I debunked that by testing the runoff after watering... (need to get more test strips/drops). So, now I am on to thinking it's the training. I'm going to leave the girls at four main arms a piece... see if I can get some recovery before the room gets switched to 12/12 light... which might be early next week thanks to the cousins Big Tuna. Mid-week there was a little defoliation to clean-up the under growth, then the girls were transplanted to their forever 7 gallon homes. I cover the bottom with perlite (1-2 inches)... then filled the fabric pots with kryptonite soil. Watered each of the girls 1L first of the week, then another 1L each on transplant, and finished off the week with 2L each... 1L from the top and 1L from the bottom! The temperature stayed around 24C, but the humidity is still being a dick... I'll keep fighting to keep it around 40%. This cold weather and low humidity will be great when the girls are in full flower mode.😁 That could be happening next week... (thxs Big Tuna) Let's hope both girls are healthy when It's time to switch to 12/12! Cya's next week! Happy Growing!👉😀👈

Week of Veg! 👊 Sapphire Scout girls finally got back on track! Both of them are looking nice and green. Their stalks aren't the biggest/thickest, but their arms are quite tough... should be able to hold the heavy buds...😂👍 They grew about 2 inches... which ain't bad considering they were recovering the last two weeks... (transplant, light stress, etc...). I really wanted to mainline them, but I'll just have to let some under growth shine through. They drank a lot of water this week... 5 litres in total for each one. 3 litres was watered top down, while 2 litres was bottom up. Temps stayed in the 24-25C range. Humidity 35% I put the girls in 24 hour darkness at the end of the week to give them a head start for 12/12. I have done this in the past, and always had great results. 👌 Next week it starts!!! Happy Flowering!👉😀👈

1st Week of Flower!!!🤙 Sapphire Scout is finally getting taller... thanks to the pre-flower stretch! Both girls have four main arms, but SS#2 doesn't really have any satellite arms reaching the canopy... not like SS#1. Maybe next week the extra little arms will poke through.😀 They started the flower week off by coming out of 24 hr darkness. Neither girl seemed stressed, and both girls put on a few inches in height (3in). After a couple of weeks... probably 3... I'm going to give them a really good defoliation...😲 I mean... strip them down!!!😅 I usually do a defoliation a week before I flip them to flower... but this time I decided to wait and to do a really big one on week 3. The girls are doing great... nutrient wise... as long as I don't mess up the pH of the water, the soil should keep them very happy! They drank 7 litres each... 4 L from the top and 3 L from the bottom... I will start watering mostly from the bottom from here on out... The temps are great at 24-25C and finally got the humidity at an acceptable level, 40%. Night time temps are dropping a bit too low right now... I don't mind the 16C, just need it to wait until about 2 weeks left. I do gt the temps up to 18C... but it's not until 3 hours into their sleep. They are a little farther away from the light than I really want them to be... Big Tuna is turning out to be big...😂 That's all for this week! Happy Flowering!👉😎👈

Week #2👈 The girls are still growing tall... both Sapphire Scouts gained 3 inches in height!😀 Both of them will need a really good defoliation next week. I removed some leaves, and tied down the four arms of SS#1. She has some nice satellite arms coming up. Going to leave SS#2 alone for this week, then I'll tie her back. Temps: Well, my dumbass forgot to turn the heat back up in the main area, and with a wind chill of -25C, the temps in the main grow room drop as low as 12C mid-week.😠 I don't think the girls really got affected by the low temps... just hope it didn't slow their growth down. Temps at the end of week were a lot more stable through out the grow rooms... 24-25C in the day and 16-17C with lights out. Humidity: It's still up and down... as low as 29% and as high as 40%. Water: The girls didn't drink a ton of water this week, 6 litres each for the week.😐 I rearranged the grow room... both SS's are along the right wall. Big Tunas fault!😂 Also, added more height to the base so the girls could be closer to the light... Big Tunas fault!🤣🤣 End of week the white hats start to appear... let's go! Happy Trimming!👉😁👈

Defoliation Week! 😎 Happy New Years!!!🎉🎉🎉 Absolutely love it when the girls make progress! SS grew about 3 inches in height which isn't even close to the Big Tuna, but they are holding their own when it comes to the bud sites. Each one has four main buds and a bunch of satellite buds popping through... one of the reason for the defoliation. I removed quite a bit of leaves, mostly from the center and below the canopy. Tying down SS#1 proved to be fruitful, so SS#2 got into the bondage as well.😁 The girls have very tight bud sites with a lot of leaf in around the stem... I will be slowly removing some leaves each week so it won't be so hateful come trimming time.😏 Temps: Last week had a windchill of -25C and this week was up to +5C ... WTF! I'm doing my best not to forget to turn the heat up in the garage at night... only forgot a couple of times, but because the temps are a little warmer, it wasn't too extreme.😆 Humidity: It's staying a little more consistent... just a little...😶 Watering: Girls are still drinking 6 litres each per week... I see that increasing in the coming weeks. I raised both girls up so they can be the same height as Big Tuna, but the problem now is I'm running out of room to adjust the light. I placed my hand on top of the buds to feel the heat intensity and if it didn't burn me, it should not burn them... but I'll keep a close eye on them. That is all... Goodbye! Happy Growing! 👉😵👈

WEEK NUMBER 4!😝 Let's Go!!! The girls slowed down on their upward growth... as of now, the tallest bud is 22" inches. Even though they are half the size of their room cousins... Sapphire Scout are stacking really nice and I believe they are getting ready to get FAT... really, really FAT! 😂 They do have satellite arms, and I think they will bulk up some... I did remove the larf from most of the arms and probably around week six, I'll do their final defoliation. 👈 The Sapphire girls are also producing eleven finger leaves...😲 I have been growing for almost 3 years, and I believe that this is my first eleven finger plant... quite impressed @Humboldt_Seed_Organisation.👊 Temps: Seems like I finally have them at a stable temperature... 25 C in the day and 19-20 C in the night. I do have the ability to lower the temps at night... and when I think I have about 2 weeks left, I'll open the dampener to the outside and that should provide temps as low as 12-13C... that will bring out the color.😍 Humidity: It's now in the 30% to 40% range... and as long as it keeps closer to 30%, we should not have any issues with budrot. Watering: I was expecting the girls to gobble up more water this week, but they held steady at 6 Litres each for the week. They might be thirstier next week....👈 Both girls are about 16" inches from the light... I don't see any light stress, heat stress, or discoloration, so I think we are at the right height. I do see the trichomes forming... they just be putting on their sunscreen.🌞 Peace out!!! Happy Toking! 👉😳👈

Week 5!👊 The girls are doing great this week!👍 The buds are starting to form nicely. Some even have a touch of colour. I decided to change position of the ladies... front to back, back to front... 😁 Hopefully that will help out the shorter sister... Temps: Still running around 25C - 26C daytime and 19C-20C nighttime. Since I stopped forgetting to put the heat on, it's been a lot easier to manage...😂 Humidity: Sitting in the low to mid 30's.... Watering: Right on schedule with 6 Litres of water each this week.👈 So far, Sapphire Scout have been quite easy to grow... I would imagine that they could be bigger in different types of setups, ie: hydro, aero, etc.. and still pose no problems.👍 Getting excited for the next couple of weeks... this is where the real stink begins.. 😂 On that note... Sixth week of Flower!👈 Sapphire Scout is doing fantastic! From the colour of their leaves to the stench of their buds... you know the girls are healthy.👍 The girls have a life span anywhere from 65-70 flowering days, and we're at Day 42... little over half way there. It's around this mark, I like to do another defoliation... get rid of the leaves that are taking energy and blocking bud sites. I removed some leaves mid-week and some more at the end of the week... hopefully that way, there isn't so much shock to the girls. Now there is excellent air flow and pretty much every bud site is getting light.😀 Temps: Staying fairly consistent at 25C... there was one day that seen highs of 28C... which didn't stress the girls out at all... made them thirsty, but pretty sure they loved it.💪 Watering: Well, this was the week to explode... BAM! 12 litres of water each this week... doubled their water intake from last week.😍 Mid-week, I added some Blackstrap Molasses to a watering... 2 Tbsp (30ml) of BSM to 1 gallon (4 Litres) of water. It's more for the soil... feed those little microbes! 😀 Humidity: We're on somewhat of a roller coaster... had lows down 23% and highs up 39%... Sapphire Scouts buds are starting to get quite hard... I'm not much of a fan for squeezing the bud, but sometimes that is the only way!😂 I can't seem to identify their stink... I'll wait another week and take a stab at it...😳 Hope you enjoyed more nonsense! Happy Growing! 👉😀👈

Week 7!👊 It seems to be the same week after week.... the girls are doing GREAT!😁 They're producing lots of trichomes, but still have a ton of white hairs. Both Sapphire Scouts have a little difference in their bud structure... SS#1 has more of a rounded head, while SS#2 has more of point going on... possibly she could be starting to foxtail. Throughout the grow, i have moved all the plants around the room... This was due to the Big Tunas being bigger then the Sapphire Scouts. I have ran into this issue before when selecting different strains. I think I keep on forgetting how hard it is to keep everything as close to the same height as possible.😲 Oh well, live and not learn... 😂😅 Temps: 25C seems to be the magic temperature right now. 19C at night. Watering: The girls are still drinking like it free!😁 12 Litres each per week! Humidity: It's pretty much staying under 40%... I'm good with that. Looks like we're about 2-3 weeks away from harvest time. I'm going to keep everything at the same pace, maybe remove a leaf or two until the final week, then anything with a stem... Bam... gone! I do think the girls will have the room to themselves very soon as Big Tuna is looking to go... So, until next week... Keep your gloves on! Happy Clicking! 👉😀👈

Week of the 8th!👊 Sapphire Scouts are chugging along great this week! Not much of a change besides more trichs getting cloudy... Not much amber yet, but I think by the end of next week... we'll be talking about harvesting!😍 I haven't really been able to pin point the smell yet, a lot of different terps going on, so when it's harvest time, I'll give the best description I can of what I smell... beside weed!😂 Temps: Still the same at 25C in the day and 19-20C at night. Watering: The girls really cut back this week... only drinking 7 litres each. I might give them one more watering, but because they are so close to being done, I might not!😵 Humidity: Dropped to around 35%, going to try and get it lower for the next week and hopefully it will be the last week. Sapphire Scouts flowering time is around 65-70 days... the girls seem to be a bit early but of course all grows are different. Maybe the girls are playing tricks on me and we still have 2 weeks left...😳 How ever long it takes, "I'll be back" next week!😂 Happy Growing! 👉😀👈

Harvest Week! 😎 Well, the girls look good! Their buds got really tight, and the trichomes are turning colour! I thought about it, and I decided to chop Sapphire Scout down... some may say a little early! The Reasoning behind this madness... the girls are an Indica strain, and as much as I love in-da-couch... I'm going to try and balance it with harvesting early... there definitely is amber and cloudy trichs, and a little extra clear ones for the head spins!😅 Sapphire Scout didn't grow very tall... which was expected. They made up for it in thickness with tight buds!😍 I did have some issues the first couple of weeks, which lead me to stop at four arms instead of doing a traditional manifold... 8 arms!💪 I believe that was a wise choice as they flourished from that type of training. They are sticky... and I mean sticky! Each plant need two clean snips for wet trimming... which I like better then dry trimming. I tried both ways, and in the end, wet trimming seem to dry better and gave it a nicer taste.👈 Can't figure out the smell... hopefully will be able to after drying... or vaping!😀 The two girls grew pretty much the same even though 2 started off smaller then 1... and it showed it at the scales as well! Let's hope for a 1/5 to a 1/4 of it when dry!😜 I'll be back with an update when completely dry... with some extra pics. Happy Harvesting!👉😎👈 Update: After an eight day dry, Sapphire Scout was ready for the bottles. Their final weight came in @ 182.5 grams... Love it!😍 Burping: 2-3 times daily for the first week, then once daily for the next two weeks, then once a week for a month! That's my plan!👈
