Had a solid week. The plants are taking hold nicely and I'm expecting to see good growth from now. They have good sized leaves which are nice and healthy and green. The start of the second week always drags on a bit for me, as not much happens after the first true leaf, but then - the show begins!
I'll be topping these plants once they form their 6th set of leaves, back down to the 3rd or 4th node. I will be very happy if these plants get to this point by the end of week 3. If they are taking in enough food, then this could be possible.
I've been watering with a mixture of fish tank water (350 ppm), and strained off liquid from compost juice and blended up vegetable scraps all bubbling away in a 50 gallon rain barrel, ph corrected with white vinegar (about 15 ml / 5 gal)
