had seeds in paper towel for 24 hours until root emerged. Placed in 3 inch pot on heat pad with soil temp at 25 C. Shoot emerged after 2 days. Off we go! The Grow plan: I plan to veg these out for 7 weeks. I will be watering with a mix of rain water, pH corrected fish tank water and my homemade compost tea / juice. I have tried organic grows in the past with little success, having plants starting to yellow 3 or 4 weeks into flower. I am hoping that my new soil mixture and water regime will keep these plants growing healthy right through flower. I do plan on pollinating these plants (with feminized pollen) so the final yield numbers are going to be misleading (let you know this from day 1 so that you are not disappointed at the end) as I love this strain and getting dinafem seeds is getting harder and harder these days. Let's see how this plays out!

She's up and growing. She got a bit tall due to lack of lighting but I got a new light over them and all is good. No water yet but will monitor as the week goes by. Loving it. Transplanted into final pots on day 5. They were in small 3 inch pots and the roots were poking out the bottom, so I wanted to get them out. Now that they are in bigger pots, I took the heating pad out and the tent is a bit cooler than I would like, given my exhaust is running for the flowering auto's, which I might need to correct to avoid issues. Ive got her in a 3 gallon fabric pot, with a potting mix of 30% compost, 50% Coco, 20% perlite. I added about 1/4 cup Gaia green power bloom to the potting mix for slow release nutrients and a 1/4 cup alfalfa pellets as a quick release nitrogen source. I am hoping to use a mix of home made organic fertilizers, to get these ladies full of feminized seeds to the finish line. If things go south, I have backup store bought organic supplements that I will use and worst case, I will bale them out with some synthetics, if needed. I plan to veg these out until Jan 1, so quite long for this size container.

Had a solid week. The plants are taking hold nicely and I'm expecting to see good growth from now. They have good sized leaves which are nice and healthy and green. The start of the second week always drags on a bit for me, as not much happens after the first true leaf, but then - the show begins! I'll be topping these plants once they form their 6th set of leaves, back down to the 3rd or 4th node. I will be very happy if these plants get to this point by the end of week 3. If they are taking in enough food, then this could be possible. I've been watering with a mixture of fish tank water (350 ppm), and strained off liquid from compost juice and blended up vegetable scraps all bubbling away in a 50 gallon rain barrel, ph corrected with white vinegar (about 15 ml / 5 gal)

PAK grew well this week. The plant has great height for afghan lineage. The 4th set of leaves are out nicely, working on the 5th. I plan to top down to the 4th node once the 6th set of leaves are out fully, which should be towards the end of week 4. The plant was leaning a bit so I had to add some compost to top up the container a bit. The leaves look super healthy and the plant is growing fine, a little slower but this could be because of a cooler tent, and that's fine with me. I fed with a mix of my compost tea and added composted hen manure, blood meal and some kelp meal, which bubbled for 24 hours and then was fed to the plants. ph was 7.6, adjusted down to 6.5 with white vinegar. 550 PPM. I will try get a better recipe going from here on, as I think the plants will need some feedings to get them adding some more growth.

Midweek update: I added a heater to the tent to raise the temp during lights off as it was getting too low (16.5 C). Ive got it up to 21 C during lights off now which is perfect, 25 C lights on. The plants should start to grow nice and quickly now. The humidity is spot on too, holding between 57 - 60% RH, giving a VPD of around 1, right where it should be. Haven't given any water in the last three days. The pots are still damp and wanting to get a good wet dry cycle between waterings. Day 23 - decided to top today, down to the 4th node. The internode spacing is great on this plant. I'll be taking the first and second nodes as clones, leaving just the third and forth which I will train and try get a nice wide flat canopy to spread under a screen. Got to say the spider farmer SF 1000 D is doing a fantastic job for these plants. Day 25 - still no watering and pots still feel moist, plants do not look thirsty at all Day 27 - Arms are getting beefy AF. First and second nodes are ready to be cloned but I might grow these out a bit and take clones from their secondary nodes instead and grow a beast of a plant instead.
