All 6 seeds sprouted in wet paper towel with within 48 hours. Transplanted seeds into 2 oz plastic condiment cups filled with Dr. Bruce Bugbee's recommended media mix of 50/50 peat/vermiculite pre-amended with dolomite lime @ 40g per cu. ft. and gypsum @ 10g per cu. ft. After seedlings broke soil, all plants were fertilized with Jack's Peat Lite 20-10-20 @ 0.6g per liter (pH 6.2 and ec 1.3 ms/cm) until 10% runoff was reached. Light was turned on to 50% power on a 20/4 cycle.
congrats on the harvest. I'm using Bruce Bugbee Method as well (1st grow), are you going to use that Peat/Vermiculite medium again or do you think it can be only used once!
Great following along with your grow. I just started the same.
You show you are watering about .5l per 24hrs per plant how much runoff are you getting?
I water every few days using a soil probe and weight to determine dryness. But, I may switch to more regular lighter watering if I can get your results.
@Dusty_Shackleford, well I am definitely going to make some changes to my watering. I probably water about 1/3 of what you do.
My plants appear healthy but my yield is typically about an ounce. AVT will get more water going forward. Thank you for your assistance
@Aberj3, At this point it's up to about 1.5 gallons per plant per day. During veg it was about 0.5 gal per plant and I watered once per day. I now water twice per day and always get at least 20% runoff. I would strongly suggest an automatic watering system because hand watering and measuring runoff takes about 2 hours every day.
