MaryJaneBoston Topped this one earlier last week and the growth is coming in nicely. The leaves are dark green and this Killer Purps plant is starting to give off a powerful aroma. I'm planning on topping this plant a couple more times before it goes into flower.

MaryJaneBoston This plant looks so much like the Gorilla Bomb except for the green stems on the fan leaves.
This lady was topped again this week.
MaryJaneBoston What can I say but, "Grow Lady, Grow!" This plant likes to stretch under the 4x T5 6400K Spectrum fluorescent bulbs.
I'm thinking about getting some clones cut from her next week.
MaryJaneBoston This plant grew incredibly after I flipped her into flower.
I had to quickly put up a trellis to make sure that her top branches weren't going to bend and break.
She drinks so fast now that I have to make sure and feed her 3 times a week.

MaryJaneBoston She looks so beautiful. Many lower fan leaves are falling off and I'm seeing from nutrient-burnt tips. This is probably the introduction to the addition of Advanced Nutrients Bud Candy and Nirvana.

MaryJaneBoston The aroma is absolutely my favorite. The smell is like a fruity mint mix. I've never smelled bud like this, and I can't wait to harvest these THC iced-frosted nugs.

MaryJaneBoston I'm having to help stabilize these tops colas and I think I might add another trellis layer.
This strain is a real Killer. I can’t quite describe in words, how amazing it is when I open the lid of the Killer Purps’ jar… but I’ll try. The initial scent is a crazy skunky diesel aroma that hit your nose and reminds you what top-shelf bud should smell like. Next, you’ll notice hints of sweet yet sour citrus tones that blend together with the diesel which sent your mind back into memories of the flower room during week 9. The flavors behind Killer Purps are true to it’s profile. You can easily taste the sour diesel and the Bombs Seeds special citrus fruity blend sweetens the overall punch to the palate sense. I would recommend smoking this strain to all of my fellow growers so that they can experience the building head-rush stoned effect from Killer Purps that tends to last for hours. I do feel that I’m completely in control and have my wits about me while under the influence of Killer Purps. I don’t feel like Killer Purps is too strong, but yet again this strain also doesn’t require too much intake to absorb the Hybrid Sativa dominant effect. I would say for certain that the Killer Purps strain is a great combination of genetics and that it needs to be included in everyone’s seed library.

MaryJaneBoston I had such a great time growing Killer Purps. She was a great addition to my garden; from the beginning when I first started to train her until the last day when I chopped her down for curing. The aromas that continued to creep out of the tent where above average for Bomb Seeds strains. Killer Purps never really showed any signs of purple beyond the hues that streaked the steams of her fan leaves. I didn’t ever really notice any purple tones in her pistils or leaves as the temperatures cooled. I should have low-stress trained her more and kept the buds closer to her pot. I guess I didn’t think about how tall she would grow during the flowering stage of her life because by week 8, I had move the tent lighting as high as I could. Her buds were long and massive and definitely weighted down her branches. The weight was so bulky that I had to end up tying each of her colas to the top of the grow space. The overall yield could be increased by a larger pot, higher intensity of LED lighting and more fans to strengthen her stretchy branches. I would recommend a filter for indoor growing because the diesel aroma does get very strong in the flowering stage. As for resin, she makes a lot of it and be prepared to unhinge those trimming scissors quite often when harvest time comes around.
