Week 5 went smoothly, they continue to veg and new bud sites sprout up everyday. This is my second attempt at LST and I think I am doing it correctly. WR#2 continues to lag behind. I didn't water it for almost a week and a half, I was going to give up on her couldn't figure out what was wrong. I decided to water her and give her 2 more weeks. I'm glad I did because while she is way underdeveloped compared to the other two, she is starting to get her green color back. Jane doe is doing amazing!! I wish I had pictures from when I first got her. She was wilted and on the brink of death. My sister started her in her outside garden and her dog uprooted it, they found it days later on the side of the house. She repotted it. I would see it when I visited and after 2 weeks of seeing her suffering and not getting better I decided to bring her to my inside tent. Against everyone's advice (don't bring outside plant in with indoor plants) I brought Jane Doe and another dying plant John Doe, and they both are flourishing now, and luckily didn't bring any pest into my tents.
I am switching them from 18/6 to 12/12 tomorrow. I can't wait to see how bushy White Rhino becomes as it starts to stretch.
@MSNL_Seeds, thanks for the response! Thanks for the info on the Afghan,
Check out my new grow its called "Delicious Caramelicious" I'm currently growing 4 of your Caramelicious Feminized beans in 10 gallon pots. This by far is my most favorite strain right now, it grows very bushy and smell and tastes delicious!
@MrGrowthSpurt, Really sorry to hear about your germ issue we are more than happy to ship some more beans as replacement. If you message us privately on here, social media or email on support@marijuana-seeds.nl we'll resolve this for you.
Without seeing images of the Afghan it sounds like powdery mildew which is a type of parasitic fungus, that is a result of environment. It often appears in over-watered and overcrowded plants and high humidity environments - which is why it's important to keep clean air circulating. This is not a genetic feature i.e. related to the qaulity of the seeds although there are some strains that have better natural resistance. We have some really in depth guides on our website which are a useful for resource

@MSNL_Seeds, thanks Check out my other grow. I harvested 2 strains I purchased from you guys back in July #500588667. White Rhino, Afghan, Master Kush and Caramelicious Femenized (came as bonus 2 free). I let them grow naturally. I should mention that while the White Rhino and the Caramelicious were easy to grow and displayed strong genetics the batch of Afghan, I'm not sure if its my fault or what but I only have 3 seeds left of the 10 that I purchased all 7 of them developed some sort of white powdery substance on their leaves from an early on and all eventually toppled over as if they stalk couldn't handle the weight of the growing fan leaves. Are there special needs this strain requires? I'm new so I don't have enough experience to say they were bad seeds probably something I'm doing/not doing correctly. The Master Kush, Is a different story, not 1 of the 10 seeds I got germinated! My first diary was supposed to be Master Kush, Afghan, White Rhino and Carmaelicious, however the Afghan wilted and the Master Kush never came out of the starting blocks. After 3 separate unsuccessful attempts of germinating the MK seed, I said "truck it" and placed all 7 in a cup of water for 24 hours, then did the paper napkin method and still nothing, all 7! I have to say I was disappointed. I'm not writing this to "bitch" just thought you all should know my experience.
I'm doing a second run with the Caramelicious Feminized, due to the success of my first run and observing that she grew low and bushy with a sturdy stalk, I tried my hand at LST and boy does she look like a completely different plant! Unfortunately I didn't create a diary for her. I planted her Aug 25th and she is flowering and very bushy. I will add a bonus picture of it in the new diary I am doing with 3 White Rhino seeds. During my first run with white rhino I noticed how it sprung up fast and developed a lot quicker than the others during the vegetation stage. When it came harvest time this strain had the biggest and thickest stalk (not sure if that has any significant meaning) and yielded the fatter more denser buds. I just planted those about a week ago and I'm interested in seeing how well they take to LST.
Just so you know you guys were my first! lol. Shout out to Chris aka Mr. Growit he put me on to you guys in one of his Youtube videos. I look forward to growing more of your strains!
