Took these clones off my Pineapple Express grow right when I flipped it to flower. It’s been about 9 weeks or so since then so they’ve had plenty of time to establish.
They’ve been growing in my seedling area next to some basil and tomato plants. They’re too big now and since I’ve harvested the mother plant I now have space for them in this new big tent. I also gave the 3rd clone to my brother for him to have fun with.
I’m going to try my best to fill this 3x3 with just these 2. I won’t be doing a full scrog, just using a trellis to help spread the 2 plants around. They are growing really well.
Just loving this strain for so many reasons...
It’s so easy to grow it just seems to love everything I throw at it. It also doesn’t like to grow very tall so I’m just letting it continue to fill the tent. I’ll probably prune off a lot of lower leaves next week once it grows up to the net since it’s becoming pretty thick. I also want to keep cloning this seed just in case I hit the genetic jackpot this time and the next seed isn’t as hardy.
These 2 clones have easily outgrown their mother in this 3x3 so I’m hoping for a great harvest.
Lowered the net to start spacing out the canopy. I’m not doing a full scrog, just using the net to help with training since I’m lazy. I just took some clones off this plant since i also just switched it over to flower. Excited for more of these buds.
Day 18 since flipping to 12/12. Growing even smoother than the first time around. I’m going to let these flower for a few days longer than the last time. Hopefully the harvest per plant is even greater too.
It’s amazing to think that I’ve only ever planted one seed of Pineapple Express and have had a harvest, these 2 giant clones, and another 7 clones growing slowly waiting for the next run. With how expensive legal seeds are this will really help stretch the cost and preserve genetics that I can’t buy anymore such as 34 street seed Co Pineapple Express seeds.
34 days of flowering for these 34 street seed co Pineapple Express clones. Starting to show some colour on the fan leaves. I love this strain and this seed specifically.
She’s a stinker! Day 48 of 12/12 and it already looks almost as mature as my last harvest at day 64... I’m thinking I may have harvested a few days too early last time since I had issues at the beginning of flower that caused a delay in growth. I think by day 60 this plant will be way more developed than my last harvest which is good.
The buds are starting to form peaks due to a lack of room as well now. Some of the lower branches have also began to sag and point sideways from sheer weight of the buds.
2-3 weeks to go!
Tomorrow marks 8 weeks since flipping to 12/12. The clones flowered about a week faster than the seed did so I don’t think I’ll need to wait till day 64... these buds already look more developed than the last harvest with 9 less days of flowering. I’ll be giving it just plain water from now until chop day. Now we just wait until trichomes are cloudy/ just beginning to turn amber.
Total harvest came to 200.4 grams which just happen to be my target. I also have 2 large freezer bags stuffed full of larf and trim to make hash with later. I’ll post the results of that as well.
As much as I like this strain I think I’ll focus my resources on new genetics now that I’ve got the hang of growing.
