11/25 getting my new 3x6 bed going. Cover crops are sprouting, worms are eating so why not pop a seed. Cream Cookies soaked 24 hours and straight into jiffy with sack ripped open. We have our first seedling in the bed. The soil is re-amended soil from other grows. Organic fertilizer added along with my own castings. Definitely going to be a learning experience. My lights will change and upgrade as I go. Follow along.

11/27. Here we go. New 3x6x1.5” Grassroots grow bed. I plan on recording my first plants grow in this bed. The seasons are changing so I’m dialing in my temps and humidity. I’ve always grown in a tent, this is in the basement. I have a new light and ac infinity ts6 on the way. Hopefully by week 2 I’ll have the temp and humidity dialed in. I have basil and some other cool cover crops you may see as this grow goes. I did also add 200 red worms also. Lots of learning to do. 11/29. All is well. Misting the top daily and watching everything grow. I dropped the light a few inches today. 12/1. Growing great. Removed domes and continue to mist. Debating purchasing Blumats for this bed. I will mulch in a few days and likely add a 3rd plant to this bed. I’ve added some organic food waste to the soil as we produce it. This is really awesome.

12/4. A new week begins. Not a lot going on. The new AC Infinity is keeping the room temp and humidity perfect with little effort from me. I may add a heater when the temps outside drop. There are other plants around her you’ll see as they grow. I’ve decided not to document those due to time. Updates to come. 12/5. Mixed up bat guano and kelp in an avocado. Placed the mix in the shell and beside my plant. I hope to find worms tomorrow. A little nitrogen boost I hope. A lady bug showed up today also. Pretty awesome. 12/6. Topped her today. Her older sister is kicking ass so let’s see what this one can do. 12/8. She never slowed growth after I topped her. Doing great and responding perfect. 12/9. Growing like weed! Worms never reached my avocados so I’ll lightly feed in a tea tomorrow sometime. Seems to be happy.

Does anyone has advice for watering a 3x6 bed? I’m considering Blumat or perhaps a nice moisture meter to help monitor???? I’ll pick the best advice for an answer. I appreciate you guys!

How about rigging up a gravity fed system with drip emitters. That way every couple days you can move the drippers to different parts. Fairly cheap and easy to do.

12/11. New week. She’s growing great. I’ve ordered Blumats to help me dial in watering this massive bed. I watered in a tea last night. Updates to come. 12/12. She’s happy! Growing much faster than other strains in the bed.

12/18. A new week begins. LST has starting using clips I bought for the Blumat watering system. That system is up and running so far all seems good there. I’ll likely top dress around the plants soon as pre flowers are starting. 12/21. Training this bush is fun. Seems extremely happy. 12/25. Training and removing a few leaves. She may be a beast!?

12/25. New week. Preflowers have started. I’m training her heavily and she’s responding great. I did remove a few leaves today to help light penetration. The Blumats seem to be doing great. I watered in a little Recharge last night just because. 12/29. She’s really growing fast! I’m adjusting and adding ties daily. One of the plants in the pot hermed and was removed today. That should actually help this plant get more light.

1/8. I trimmed a few lower branches to allow air flow and to push energy up. A lot of growth over night that I didn’t expect. 1/10. Still seeing slight vertical growth. I expect her to stop soon and fatten up.

1/16. Cut a few leaves off. She is a bush! Just stopped stretching. She seems behind for her age but the yield looks to be potentially massive. I watered in an organic tea to help boost flower.

1/23. New week. She’s stopped vertical growth and continues to fatten up. She’s so bushy and bunched up I’m not sure how she will develop. I have a fan blowing through the bottom to help prevent any mold growth potential. The humidity is low for now so that to helps. 1/24. Added photos. Seeing something on the leaves.

I see a few spots which are the beginning of calcium deficiency but they’re only in one spot on the plant.. such that I would not worry about it at all honestly. It seems quite isolated. Seeing as you’re close to the end, it’s also not wise to over react with trying to feed a bunch of cal mag or something. Just keep doing as you have been is my recommendation

2/1. Not a lot to report. She’s adding density but slow to get to the finish. I’m in no rush so it’s no big deal. This strain seems to run a little longer than others but not excessive.

What was confusing me always, how people go for max organic DIY set ups, but forgets that all fruits, eggs and so on are either sprayed with heavy chemicals or were feed with steroid shit ... I take my words back if you grew that avocado ;) Rethink a bit. All the Best !

@AsNoriu,I wish that were an option. Buying organic is the best I can do. I enjoy using my scraps in bokashi and hot compost. The fact I can use that instead on sending it to the landfill is awesome and rewarding to me.
