So far so good! I've been keeping her under my small 30w LED light that I like to use for seedlings but I will be moving her into the tent in the next couple of days.

Things are going pretty well. She's not quite as far along as I hoped she'd be after two weeks but she's looking healthy and that's what's important!

Three weeks in and she seems to be coming along nicely. No nutes yet. Just pH'd water. I am planning on topping her in the next day or two. Check out my post next week if you're curious how it went.

I'm very pleased with her progress. No signs of deficiencies yet but I am anticipating needing to start giving her some food in the next week or so as the soil I'm using says it carries enough nutrients for the first five weeks. Today I noticed a few white pistils. Looks like she is showing preflowers!

Hey everyone! My plant is in her 5th week and a few days ago (around day 30) I noticed some brown spotting on a few of the mid/lower leaves. Does anyone know what this could mean? I gave her her first feeding 3 days ago. 1/4 strength veg nutes and 1/8 strength bloom nutes.

It's a calcium defeciency. Not much to worry about. You can add some cal mag once a week to your feed. Cannabis needs a good amount of calcium, magnesium and manganese to thrive (along side the important npk). These are crucial for nutrient uptake and become in higher demand under warmer conditions and led lights

This girl is a beast! She's far and away bigger than my first two plants were at the 35 day mark. She was getting so tall I decided to top her on day 30. I wish I had done so earlier but live and learn! I've noticed some brown spotting on a few of the leaves. Nothing to panic over but she is definitely trying to tell me something. While I'm not 100% certain I do believe it is a calcium deficiency. I gave her her first feeding this week (day 32) consisting of 1/4 strength veg nutes and 1/8 strength bloom nutes (since she's showing preflowers). I also added in half a teaspoon of Cal-Mag. Hopefully that takes care of that. All things considered this girl is crushing it! I'm super pumped about her progress so far. It looks like she is just starting to stretch so I will be tying down some branches this week to open things up a bit. I will tuck some leaves as well but I don't think any defoliation is needed just yet.

She took to the low stress training very well! I tied down a number of branches and within a day they had started growing up towards the light again. I plan to slightly increase blooming nutrients this week since I can finally see flowers coming in.

Title says it all! This plant is already so much taller than either of the plants I grew the first time around. I still have some room in my tent to accommodate a little bit more height - just not THAT much more. Which week of flower will do plants typically stop stretching?

Another good week in the books. She has responded very well to all the training I have performed on her. She is no longer receiving any veg nutes. Just bloom nutes and P/K booster. So far she seems to be responding well to that as well. I did a slurry test this week to measure the pH of the soil and it came out to 6.7. It's a little higher than I would like but it certainly isn't anything to stress over. I will continue pH'ing my water to 6.5 unless I start to notice signs of a serious problem. Her smell is starting to get more noticable and her flowers are getting noticably bigger every single day. I will continue to tie branches down and tuck leaves so the middle and lower bud sites receive as much light as possible. Check back in next week to see her progress!

Last week I had started noticing some signs of what I believed to be nutrient deficiencies. I think she was short on some nitrogen during her stretch and P/K as she began putting out flowers. Fortunately growth doesn't seem to have stalled and I increased her nutrients last feeding. I'm hoping this takes care of the issue and prevents things from getting any worse. She started putting out some frost this week and her smell has become noticably stronger. I anticipate this girl producing some really nice flowers when it's all said and done. Thanks for stopping by and good luck with everyone's grows!

The leaves have not regained their color since upping the nutrients but they haven't gotten significantly worse, either. The buds themselves are moving right along, getting bigger, frostier and smellier. I'm going to up her nutes a bit more this week since I haven't seen any signs of nute burn.

Despite most of the leaves looking depleted she really is a beautiful plant. The buds are coated in frost and the smell is incredible. I think I've found the sweet spot when it comes to how much food to give her. She is approximately 30 days into flower as of today so I'm thinking she'll need another 3-4 weeks. I definitely expect her to be a 90-100 day auto.

The smell has gotten quite strong and the buds are really starting to fatten up. The canopy is full of dense, sticky golf ball nugs. The smell is pungent and earthy with a subtle fruity sweetness and hints of skunk. She's still pushing out some white pistils so she definitely still has some time left but I'm thinking she'll be done in two, maybe three more weeks.

She's getting close! The buds continue to swell up nicely and the trichomes are mostly cloudy with just a little bit of clear remaining. Not much amber yet. I've stopped giving her the P/K booster and the cal-mag. I think I'll give her one more feeding of bloom nutes in a couple of days and then I'll cut off of the nutes entirely. I'm hoping she'll be ready to chop in 7-10 days.

Based on these pics how much longer would you guess this plant needs? I'm seeing a lot of cloudy trichs, still some clear trichs but hardly any amber.

Remember too, not all strains of cannabis develop amber trichomes. Harvesting a bit early is much better than harvesting too late while waiting for amber trichomes to appear. Waiting too long means the plant gets closer and closer to death, and a plant closing in on death can not support healthy cannabinoids. The amount of second grade over ripe pot that I see on this forum while people wait far too long for a mythical "30% amber" is depressing. Fine if you want dope that puts you to sleep, but most people I know like to get high, not drowsy and dreary. 10% amber is great pot. Waiting too long for a strain that does not have the genetic capacity to produce amber trichomes will lead to harvesting over ripe pot. Amber trichomes consist mainly of CBD, CBN and CBG, all these cannabinoids are non psychoactive, meaning they do not get you high, but they do produce a relaxing and sleepy narcotic effect. If you want peak THC, don't delay, harvest now and enjoy the fruits of your labor would be my advice. If you prefer something that puts you to sleep, wait 1-2 weeks. Why not harvest some now and some in a week and the rest in 2 weeks and find out for yourself what the different stages of maturity produce stone wise and then let those results guide your harvest timing in future, depending on which YOU prefer? Hope this helps, Organoman.

As of 3/2/2022 it's been six days since I completely cut off the nutrients. Her flowers are incredibly dense and sticky. I have been monitoring her trichomes daily for the past week and I've finally started seeing some amber over the last few days. I will be chopping the upper, most mature buds tomorrow and letting the lower flowers mature for another week or two. I will report back in a couple of weeks with final weight and a smoke report. As always, thanks for checking out my diary!

This was a fun plant to grow. She didn't start flowering until roughly the 40 day mark but once she did I was quickly able to tell she was going to be a frosty one. Her buds were more like golf balls than big corn cob colas so at first I was a bit concerned the yield wouldn't might be lacking. Fortunately the density of the buds is quite impressive and I came away very pleased with my yield. She took 94 days from sprout to harvest and 10 days to dry. I've spent the last few days trimming her up and getting the buds into curing jars and Grove Bags. Already the smell is just incredible. I went over to my buddy's place the other day and brought a couple of grams for him to sample and just that little amount stunk up my entire car. I can't wait to see what she smells like after she's been curing for a month! I want to give a big thank you to everyone who has helped me with my grows. I ask a lot of questions and I always get such wonderful and helpful responses. I love this community!
