Mephisto Skywalker & Double Grape Hydro

SatisfactionXOD For the start of the grow, I began the seedlings differently than I have previously. Right after the taproot began to show from the paper towel, they were placed into the grodan cubes and the water level with air on high was brought right to the bottom where the bubbles were popping through the hydroton. This method gave me a great start with no problems. The root has grown right into the media and the plants are doing great. The plants will not need to adapt to the growing conditions since they have started in a hydro setting. Double grape looks to be a more vigorous starter versus skywalker, will continue to look for the differences between the two varieties and see how the grow progresses.

SatisfactionXOD I left the nutrients alone for this week, which went exceptionally well. Both plants are growing quickly, however, I am seeing the more vigorous growth from the Double Grape. With the storms that went across the US over the weekend, my house ended up losing power for a couple of hours on Saturday. My family is hoping for all the best those that are nearby in KY who went through the tornados.
