First PEV grow!

Little babies are popping up, the limoncello is definitely growing at a fast rate but they are 2 different girls so we’ll see how they turn out! Only watering for now.

Seeing little roots hitting the outsides of the cup this week, Limoncello already has a little smell to her, Cbd time has a funky appearance to it but I’m still gonna let her do her thang!

Still feeding plain water for now, re-potted the girls last night and hope they will respond well to it! The Limoncello seems to be performing nicely so far, the Cbd time looks like a little mutant baby! But I’m still just gonna see how she does! Plants are about to grow 5th node so I think I will top them soon. This is my 4th grow ever, all have been indoors so far but I’d like to see what I can do to maximize potential. I grew with Growers Choice seeds and Pacific Seed bank for my first 3 grows, heard good things about PEVgrow seeds so thought I’d give them a try! I am re-using soil from my last grow. I added a 1/2 cup flower girl, 1/2 cup blood meal, and 1/4 cup bone meal when re-potting so my 12.5 tsp/gal in nutrients section is per gallon of soil!!

End of week 4! Topped the girls night 22 and the Limoncello seems to be happy with that. Hoping that the roots will be expanding now as they search for water through their new larger pots! It’s crazy to see the pics day by day and all the subtle changes they go through… Time for a massive growth spurt before flip. Might need 3 weeks or so till flip? Leaves are growing in more green & thick since re-pot.

Week 5 since seeds went into soil, saw a little yellowing at the lower leaves of Limoncello so I watered them and hopefully that’ll bring her some nutrients! She is stacking up very nicely though, a sturdy one.. the Cbd time is a funky little Picasso looking thang… an acid trip of a plant! Day 30 clipped a few leaves off of the bottom of the girls and tucked some fan leaves to expose secondary branches a little better!

Start of week 6, snapped a main branch on Cbd time and taped up to support, will be in the pics tomorrow! Not too worried about it, wasn’t a full break so it might recover just fine! Not really getting explosive growth from either plant yet but I am not going to scrog this time.. bent the main colas down to keep them level with the rest of the plant for now. Might let them heal for the week and then send the girls to flower!

Day 43 from seed into dirt and I just changed the light schedule to 12/12, gave the girls a deep watering the other day and they perked right up after! Excited to see how much these ladies stretch, hope I can keep them contained! Day 47 seems almost like they are growing about an inch a day now, it is so cool to actually document their growth…

Just starting week 2 of flower, starting to see emergence of little baby pistils, plants are still growing about an inch a day, adjusting the light height to compensate, may do some defoliation but for the most part the leaves are looking healthy. Had somewhat of a claw to them but not worrying myself over it. Feeding a tbsp molasses each now when I water, not even messing with the ph, just giving tap that sits out in a 5 gallon bucket. Plants grew almost an inch a day when they were happily watered, Day 56 trimmed some of the lower fan leaves that weren’t getting any light anyways, I try not to take too much so the plants don’t get too shocked. They seem happy, so I’m happy with that! Don’t really see any deficiencies, maybe a little spot here and there, think I had one thrip yesterday but I squashed that bish with my fingernail.

Tent is starting to get a little stinky now! Working more on maintaining airflow through the canopy, taking some leaves off. Might try to clone some of the lower branches that aren’t getting much light, using up plant’s resources. The Limoncello is really bushy, smelly, I think it’s going to be a good producer. The Cbd time has been so funky from the get go but I have faith in her, just gonna see how it goes!

Okay, chopped off hella leaves today at the start of week 10! Gave them a little water and we will see how it goes! The ladies smell so nice!!! Can’t wait to see how they develop this week! Day 67 top dressed soil with some flower girl and watered again, hope they slow down on stretching and start packing on the weight soon!

Start of week 11! The Limoncello smells like orange juice when I rub the trichomes, and the Cbd Time smells like lemons!!! I think they are gonna be a delight to smoke!!! Top dressed with a little flower girl last week and just watering with molasses for now, seems like the stretch has slowed, doing more pruning/ defoliating a little bit here and there to get rid of the suckers and popcorn buds.

Hoping a little weight gets put on this week!! The ladies smell amazing, hard to hide what is going on my closet hehe!!! Maybe time for a new filter! Giving a little more molasses with the watering now, gonna do 2 tbsp per feeding instead of one. Hard to keep my hands off the plants at this point, I always wanna check the oils.. Fuck they smell so good!! 👍 Didn’t bulk up too much at the end, Cbd time showing way more orange pistils for now, Limoncello seems to be slower in getting there but according to Pev flowering time they still have about 3 weeks to go.

Day 87 opened my tent for photo shoot and found that the extraction fan was unplugged and the walls were fucking wet!!! Took out the girls and wiped everything down!!! Whoopsie 😬!!! The girls are stanking up the house now, buds are slightly swelling, Cbd time nugs are pretty dense. All in all I am a happy plant daddy and really glad I check in on these girls every day before shit got real bad!

Looks like plants are starting senescence phase! I am really enjoying the beautiful colors! Giving plain water for now, some branches might need help to stay up, looking forward to the chop! I’ve never been this patient before with my plants, as well as hands off. I have to say I am very pleased with the PEV seeds genetics so far! Might need to grow these again or another strain from same seed company!

Week 9 of flower, getting ready to chop these babies down at the end of the week! 100 days have gone by so quick, I am excited for smelling it all through the house, trimming it and getting my fingers all sticky, making edible coconut oil with it!!! Can’t wait to get some final pics in before harvest. Already wanting to start the next grow too but might give it a break for a little bit. Chopped down mid-week I guess? I’ll keep posting pics as they dry and after trim!

The Cbd time plant was a beauty to behold in the grow room! Very sticky, very lemony, and a kick back strain to smoke. Didn’t have any problems with pests or deficiencies really, a normal amount of yellowed leaves here and there. I would love to try an outdoor grow with it but I’m going to give it a rest for a while and smoke some of this stuff for now, give some to friends and family! Peace dudes enjoy the grow! This strain was a joy to grow, smelled amazing right from the start, she was a stanky little one! Filled out the grow space very nicely, didn’t have any problems with pest or deficiencies. All in all a low maintenance grow, very happy with Pev seeds and would recommend to anyone and would be pleased to grow with their genetics again for sure! Okay happy growing everyone, enjoy life and smoke some good good dank!!!
