Flawless process.
18 hours in water, warmth and dark-> Put in moist paper towel and air seal, at warmth and darkness-> Once the tail is 2-3 times the seed, add to hydrated peat pellet with a plastic dome under light-> Next day it will sprout!
I only watered with ph corrected water (6.3 PH)
The plant came out with a helmet head, I just dropped some water on the seed cap to moisten it and with small tweezers I removed the shell. All good!
After the plant sprouted it stretched really fast because I didn't use a dedicated light. Now I've transplanted the jiffy into a 0.5 liter pot with prebuffered coco and perlite.
I've buried the jiffy a bit deeper to counteract the plant stretching, roots will grow in the stalk. Now she looks cute and pretty. She seems to be a super healthy plant so far.
Only ph corrected water for now.
Not much going on. The little girl is steadily growing, ready for a topping soon.
She took very well to the first transplant and loves the DIY cold led light I build for her.
Introduced a small amount of nutrient to the feeding.
So this week the day has come to top her. I like topping while young so this way I head on from the start with 2 tops. I feel like I can shape the plant most effective if she's symmetrical.
Also introduced some additives from Plagron to stimulate the root growth like crazy!
Not much going on right now. She just grows like crazy, I'll have to transplant her soon. She recovered from the topping like it was nothing.
Some calcium deficiency spots have appeared on the first leaves, I quickly corrected the light height and added a boost of cal-mag to the plant, she seems to have recovered, the new leaves are perfect! She's been a joy till now :)
Had to transplant the plant into the final pot - 12 liters. I think she wanted that move for some time now... but I'm an idiot. :D
She took well to the move and I have bent the two main tops and have removed 2 leaves that were blocking the light to the smaller tops in the middle.
She just started pre-flower and now has space to grow into a beautiful creation!
Well she's doing very well after the transplant. She's rooting very vigorously and the leaves are starting to bush up.
Did some small cuts and bents for adjustment. These next weeks are going to be full of selective defo and LST as she begins her pre-flower stretch.
LET THE FUN BEGIN!
Not much going on, haven't payed enough attention to her. She seems great, but overfed, she is apparently quite sensitive to nutrition. Has developed some claw leaves and yellow tipping.
Will definitely switch to a lower concentration.
Gave her some extra bents with soft gardening wire. She's a few days from fully flowering.
I need to do a defo as soon as possible!
