👉 Starting the germination of Sweet Seed Cream Mandarin Auto XL. The journal isnt live updates and was started 9/22. I may catch up to the plant before the harvest. 👉 Dropped seed in a glass with an H2O2 solution. After 24 hrs placed into cellulose towel, in a small plastic container and covered with foil, placed next to one of the light ballasts. After 24 more hours the tap root emerged. Another 24hrs the tap root was long enough to place into media. on day 7 it emerged as a healthy seedling. 👉The media is 80% Coco coir and 20% Expanded clay pebbles. 👉The pot is a 3 gallon cloth pot. 👉 I use ultra pure, medical grade water produced from a medical facility. 👉The nutrients are General Hydroponics Flora Series. I will mix them to the recipe on the Drain to waste feed chart. I mix it at 25% dilution from full strength. I double the Cal/mag due to the RO water. I mix the nutrients in 2.5 gallon batches.

👉Its off to the races, each day the growth rate rapidly increases as the leaves grow in size. Not much stretch so it will probably be a nice shrub sized bush.

👉When I removed one of the bottom leaves (it was sitting on surface of the media), I noticed the plant had a lean going on, by the end of the week it was more pronounces as the trunk grew bigger. I suppose I can categorize this plant as an 'LST'. Incredibly fast growth that continues to accelerate as the plant get bigger. Probably a nitrogen toxicity in the leaves a little, cut the Floricious plus in half.

👉The growth intensity continues. Really weird seeing the trunk exposed like this. Makes fertigating it easy and helps concentrate some of the flow to the middle of the roots. The run-off EC has been consistently lower than the inflow and the pH has also stayed in range. This demonstrates that the root zone is balanced top to bottom and the plant is absorbing lots of nutrients...and the result is obvious. Looking really promising and forming what will probably be nice dense pine cones.

👉Flowers are getting plump and very aromatic. Has the aroma of an orange creamcicle and that lovely stank. Still drinkiing in lots of nutrients. The pH of the run-off is stable and it wasnt till the end of the week that the EC started to climb. The Queen cola is no longer the tallest cola.

👉The buds are heading down the final leg of the journey and are getting plump. Some of the leaves that are in the brightest parts of the light are starting to fad a little as are the sugar leaves on the buds in the brightest light. Only a couple of the leaves at the very bottom and interior of the plant have yellowed and been discarded by the plant. I expect to see more of that soon. The plants weight is offset in the pot and must be fairly heavy because the rack the pot sits on is bowing under it. I was rotating the plant almost daily but its just too big to risk any accidents now. 👉I've kept the nutrients flowing and the run-off has finally started to go up and low EC fertigations are required more often. The plant is still very thirsty. Over 5 liters a day are given 2x a day. The nutrients are mixed with the late bloom recipe. 👉Trichome hunting.

👉Day 88 is the last day for the Cream Mandarin XL Auto from Sweet Seeds. 89 total days. 56 Days of flower. The plant flourished and has some really nice dense colas. The aroma in the tent is a strong intoxicating sweet orange cream with a nice hint of stank. Outside (I vent to outside from a 2nd story window) the aroma is every where even when windy. Its it skunky citrus outside. Im surprised my wife hasnt complained about it, she hates the smell and reminds me when the colas are in full swing. The leaves have faded to yellow up top with a few large leaves yellowed and discarded by the plant at the bottom. The bus are very dense, but the branches didnt need any support because the branches were super sturdy. I fed it nutrients right up to harvest time. During the last week or so the pH of the run-off would drop quickly, so I was giving some low EC fertigations followed by full strength. This would help keep in range but was a possible signal that the plant may be ready. (I will review so previous plant logs to see if there are similarities of pH towards harvest).

Happy Harvest Day!

👉The plant took 88 days from seed germination start. It flowered for 55days. Its grew stout and sturdy. No supports needed to hold the nice dense flowers. Nice citrusy aroma during flower. The plant was very prolific and produced and astonishing amount of good big buds. One of the largest plants Ive grown to date. Once cured the jar aroma was a sweet cirtusy pine. When pinching off a hit the aroam is unleashed and hits your nose with a blast of happy citrus and funky stank. The creamy citrus/pine aroma continues when the flower is combusted in a bong or a pipe. When consumed in a vaporizer the sweet creamy citrus/pine flavor is amazing!

👉 The plant was a nice dense bush and due to the funky way it leaned over the Queen cola was not the tallest one. It almost filled up the tent (4x4). Such a dense bush that I was afraid I would have a lot of popcorn. I did a fair amount of small branch removal but the plant was prolific and had lots of secondary branches all over. The lean of the plant helped every branch get as much light as it could. I didn't train the plant to be tilted, I couldn't see the trunk because it was a small solid dome of leaves. Everything looked normal at the top. But when it was time to trim the lower leaves that were sitting on the media I saw the main stalk was bent over. I did nothing to straighten it out because the plant was so stout and I could see it wasnt hurting the plant. I dont do any training on my plants. I just let them grow as they please. My goal is just to help the plant to reach its potential. 👉To harvest I did a close wet trim. I started the harvest by clipping the branch closest to the bottom. For each branch I would trim all the fan leaves and worked m way up to the cola at the end of the branch. The larf was trimmed loosely to get rid of the un-frosted leaves, then tossed on the top rack of the dry net. Each branch had a few nice buds on them and those were weighed then put on the second rack of the dry net. I weighed the wet weight of each rack separately. The nice plump cola at the end of each branch was weighed and put on a hanging clip with a letter and the weight cataloged with that number. I repeated this for each branch till I finished with the Queen cola. I hung each cola on a rack. 👉To dry I used an oscillating 42" fan set to lowest speed. After 8 hours I turned the whole rack to help even out the drying process. After another 12 hrs I put each cola on a clip in its own paper bag. I put the buds on the racks in bags as well. I would occasionally weigh each bud and compare it to its starting weigh and my goal was around 25%. I would record each buds weight and then place in a jar would place in a jar with a hygrometer. I would monitor each jar as often as I could and open or close the jar depending on the humidity until it was stable at 62% rh or less. When at the target rh of 62% I would place a 2way moisture control pack in the jar and then placed the jars on the cool, dark closet. 👉The numbers were very surprising to me. The total for the buds on the second rack was 254g. The cola total was 226. Thats 480g of dense frosty goodness. That doesnt include any larf or trim. I didnt weigh the trim but it was a big pile. I made two kief pucks, one pure trichome wafer, and a full puck of scissor hash!

@NSCanna, Thanks for the taking time to look at my grow! I dont remember measuring it, I would estimate at the very base its about 2.5" diameter. It was splitting the skin at the base because it was growing so plumply.

Wow, man, that's fat! Seems like coco allows you grow so much more outta 10litets pot. I also noticed your fert cocktail. I'm curious if I could grow 2kg raw from 7l coco airpot with calmag, sensi coco grow and bloom only...I'll try. So you like tangerine dream and growers choice...

My favorite plant is Super Lemon haze auto and Green house seeds seedbank. This strain is fat, fast and juuicy. I should try growers choice, and you should try ghs seeds as well.
