Grow Questions

What kind of special nutrients is everyone using during flowering besides the regular grow and bloom formula? Can you explain why you use them and experience/history with it. I’m thinking about bud candy and stuff like that etc

Most of those finishers are basically liquid sugars for the plant to intake, theres nothing wrong with adding them but they will need to be flushed out or you can get funky tastes etc with them. If you want an all natural sugar that will both sweeten buds and dense buds you can always add like 2-3 tablespoons of molasses in the last several weeks. Not only is it available at nearly every grocery, it doesnt require flushing the way a synthetic "bud candy" would. Try what makes you happy, and you'll at least learn what works for you and what doesn't. Happy and healthy growing.

@pharmaZ So i recently purchase the Grobo.. its a grow box and all in one solution. The nutrients she is getting handled by their nutrient system . Basically it has five bottles. Acid/Base/MicroNutrients/Macro/ and balanced. No other input in nutrients from my end. All i do is change the water once a week since its a drain to waste system. The question is actually for my other Diaries which is being grown in soil.

@Jamminbear, Ok, thanks. In that case you should have also said that ;) Grobo looks interesting I’ll have a look at that... For soil use as green said. If you want to bust the bank in nutrients the AN are good when limited to only a handful of there products. I’ve used the hobby bundle B-52, big bud, and voodoo juice are good. Not sure about overdrive as there isn’t as much info on it as there is the others. Maybe because of there “secret flormula” made by Heisenberg... Imo there is better out there it’s just finding what suits you. It’s never as simple as follow this guide you’ll have massive fat chunky buds bigger than all the rest. You have to figure out what works for you. One of the last things should be a long list of nutrients. ——————The best hands down for an easy productive grow in soil with hassle free is TGA super soil by subcool. He even gives his exact recipe so you can make it yourself. If you have the requirement for a great amount of soil I would use that otherwise once again it’s exoensive because you have to buy the raw ingredients in mass...

Hey jamminbear, I needed to say that the molasses isn't suitable for a hydroponic reservoir setup. So are many other sweeteners. However there are others that can work for a hydro setup not just cocoa and soil, like Remos Natures Candy...but as I mentioned it is highly recommended to get flushed out before harvest to ensure the quality and taste are still good. Good luck with the nutrient choices. 😊💚🌱

i bought a grobo and this is my first run at hydrophonics.. A lot of things are automated with this system. I currentl have very mixed feelings about this system.

You should put more information in your grow. Explaining the medium like hydro. With very little info and pictures it’s hard to offer a solid opinion. Are you currently using nutrients, do you have any that you intend on using?

Hey Jbear, I just had to comment what an amazingly gorgeous photo you've got for this week. It's so classy looking with that flat colored background. 💚💙
