Well, were growing again😊, this time a Sativa strain,Cinderella 99 from Canuk Seeds..
I'lI be growing this plant under the Unit Farm UFS 3000(200watts) in soil and pro-mix
ammended with Dr. Marijane beneficials and a little bit of Gaia Green all purpose 4-4-4,
then fed strictly with Dutch Sciences and a little molasses throughout the entire grow.
I'm thinking two transplants and then a 5 or 7 gal fabric pot to call home until harvest.
Every transplant gets a good little sprinkle of Great White on the roots and in the transplant hole..
Going to keep this one 100% organic again and see if I can get the 1gr/watt were all looking for,
came close last time, 178 grams under 200 watts of light. So we'll see if I can keep the sativa monster
contained in my little tent, maybe I'll have to bring out the trellis netting and give the scrog method a try,
always an experiment and always tons of fun so stay tuned👊..
Thanks for stopping by, see you in a week!!
Hey everyone, hope all is well👊
Unit farm test grow #2, so far we're doing great👍..
The plant really likes this light and is growing stong and healthy underneath it.
I'm still keeping the driver outside the tent, and with the fan blowing
while the light is on,and with the temp. controller on the exhaust fan I'm able to
keep the temp. right at 27c and 65% humidity, looks like the sweet spot👌.
Lots of growth after I transplanted on the 9th. Cindy had roots to
the bottom and sides of the small container, a little sprinkle of great white
on the roots and in the transplant hole and into a 2L container, watered in with
250mL seed and root p.h at 6.3, and a bit of water yesterday.
The soil so far is a mix of pro-mix h.p(black bag, 0 beneficials) and happy frog with a little
bit of Gaia green 4-4-4 and some dried and crushed eggshells, so far so good👍.
Thanks for stopping by, see you in a week!!!
Unit Farm Test Grow #2..
Easy week,Seed and Root,a bit of molasses to feed the microbes, and water with a cal-mag,so far that's it.
The soil is a simple mix of Happy Frog, Pro-mix hp, some worm castings, some Gaia Green 4-4-4 and a little
bit of Dr. Maryjane beneficials. Magic in a pot 😉. I transplanted the other night into 5gal fabric pots, gave the roots
and the transplant hole a sprinkle of Great White and watered the plant in with 1L water/1mL molasses.
The plant seems happy under the UFS 3000, approx 30'' above the plant and she's staying short and stalky
so far, I think once the roots start exploring the new soil, she's really going to explode with new growth, cross my fingers..
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas, hope everyone can find some peace in these crazy times..🙏
Unit Farm test #2, This is Cindy!!
Cindy got her top removed today, pinched the top at node 6
and kept nodes 4 and 5, removed everything else.
I've stopped using seed and root and started with the grow girls grow
from Dutch Sciences. I started with the first feed at 2ml/L of water
and moved up to 5ml/L of water for the second feed and will continue like this
with a cal-mag (1ml/4L water) every other feeding. So far this plant is loving life and staying very
healthy under the UFS 3000, keeping the light approx. 30 inches away from the plant and all is good!!!
Thanks for stopping by👊..
Happy holidays and Happy New Year!!!
Easy week for Cindy, She's made a great recovery from the manifold
and is showing explosive growth in the last week or so💪..
The feed schedule for this plant will be strictly Dutch Sciences(100% organic)
with a little bit of molasses and some beneficials once per week.
I have the light(UFS3000) hanging approx. 30 inches from the plant.
This light is only 200watts with a spectrum the plants seem to really like.
It does stay a bit hot, but with a fan blowing in the tent it's like a warm cup of coffee to the touch.
Cindy is staying short and compact with very sturdy branches. I'm trying to train a little,
but she's a tough one to bend, so I'll have to try some more after the flip to flower when
she get's a bit more stretchy,probably 2 or 3 weeks yet.
Thanks for stopping by👊👊..
See you in a week!!!
Unit Farm Test Grow #2, excellent results so far👍..
Cindy is staying very healthy and bounces right back after
some training and defoliation. I topped all four main branches,
so I should have around 24+ colas(6 per branch) this time if everything goes according to plan..😵.
I think I'll be flippin to flower very soon because I'm not to sure how big this plant will get and
my tent is only 6 feet tall, so a 3 foot plant would be perfect.
Thanks for stopping by 👊👊...
Unit Farm test grow #2, so far very successfull,
Cindy is staying very healthy with 0 deficiencies and growing
a noticeable amount everyday.I flipped to flower today, I have the light(UFS 3000) appprox.
30 inches above, I'll let the plant grow up to the light for awhile as she starts to stretch.
I topped all branches and repinned them down, soon they'll be under the cage and I'll be able to remove the pins..
The little pot in the tent with Cindy has an orange seed planted in it. About a month or more ago I planted a seed
from an orange that I'd bought at the grocery store, it has a tiny green sprout and I mean TINY,it doesn't seem to be doing much,
but I'll let it grow and see what happens..
Thanks for stopping by👊..
Smok'em if you got'em!!!
Unit Farm test #2👍..
Cindy had a big defoe and some rough training this week,
but she took it well and is on the rebound. She's starting to stretch
a little already, but no signs of flower yet. Keeping this grow 100%
organic, so far only Grow, Bloom, Cal-mag from dutch Sciences and some
molasses and Dr. M.J. beneficials. The last two feedings were 2L water, 5ml grow
and 6ml Bloom with .25ml cal-mag each time and yesterday she got .5L Banana peel tea...
Thanks for stopping by👊.
See you in a week!!!
Unit Farm Test Grow #2.
Keeping it simple and 100% organic, Cindy is loving life...
Switched the feed to 100% bloom, 2L at a time(5mL/L) with
cal-mag at 1mL/4L, with a molasses and Dr. M.J inbetween feedings...
I'm keeping the light(UFS3000 which only draws 200 watts and
gives the 3x3 tent pretty good coverage) approx. 28-30 inches
from the canopy, 0 issues so far..
Smok'em if you got'em😎..
See you in a week!!!
Unit Farm test Grow #2 and everything is great so far, I've lowered the light a couple inches
and will continue to do so every other day until I reach 18-20 inches above the canopy.
So far Cindy is healthy, with 0 issues, staying a nice shade of green and starting to
concentrate on flowering. Still 100% organic with 0 boosters, just trying to keep it simple...
Thanks for stopping by👊👊..
See you in a week...
Unit Farm Test #2, so far very successful👌👍..
Very easy week, this plant is putting all the POWER TO THE FLOWER,
she's stacking weight on the buds everyday and is showing a nice layer of frost...
I had a little(😵) infestation of tiny mites(I think) in the soil, don't know if they were predatory
or not, they had to go.. I used the shop-vac and vac. them off the pot(fabric) and vac. the top 2
inches of soil, there was roots sticking out all over and I put a layer of diotameseus earth over the top
of the soil and scratched it in. For the next couple days I vac. the edges of the pot, because the little buggers were crawling all over the place.
After a couple days of this, the creepy crawlers were gone and I mixed some new soil and recovered the top of the pot and put another layer
of D.E. and I haven't seen a bug since😀.. I think I won the battle, but we'll see in a few days..
I don't know where they came from, they weren't on the plant just in the soil, so I had a little freak out and now I have the cleanest grow room ever,
I went through everything and cleaned with a vinegar/water solution, smells like a bag of salt and vinegar chips in my grow room😏..
Thanks for stopping by...👊👊
Unit Farm test grow #2, 👍👍..
Lots of growth this week, and we're puting on some FROST😍.
The smell is kind of sour, but not real strong yet.
I've been keeping the feed schedule very simple,
Bloom and Cal-Mag with a plain water feed in between alternating with molasses..
All the bugs are gone, I haven't seen one for a few days now.
I'm keeping the light approx. 20 inches above the plant and Cindy seems very happy,
I had the light at approx. 17-18 inches and I noticed some yellowish tips so i raised it back
up to 20 inches, seems better..
Thanks for stopping by!!👊.
Easy week👍. I gave Cindy a good trim the other day, removed most leafs with a stem
and small growth underneath the canopy, should be an easy trim when the time comes..
I'm still keeping the light about 20 inches from the top of the plant, which seems to be the sweet
spot, Cindy is happy and loving LIFE!!!
Unit Farm test grow #2, so far so good!!!
Thanks for stopping by👊👊...
Unit Farm Test grow #2..
I've stopped feeding this plant now, so it'll be a little molasses
with waterings for the week coming up and then I'll flush with
plain water for the last few weeks until harvest.
I'm still keeping the light at about 20 inches above the plant and
she's happy, healthy and the buds are getting a good build up of frost
and I'm getting a sour, kind of dank smell everytime I open the tent,😍..
Thanks for stopping by👊👊...
100% cloudy with a chance of Amber, Cindy is ready for harvest.
I'm just waiting for her to dry out after a few heavy flushes( 8L water at a time).
This plant grew easy without any real problems or issues, just didn't get as big as I
would've liked but I think the quality is there in the rock hard buds with a kind of
sour citrus smell, (not super intense). I think harvest will be tomorrow or the next day and it should be fairly easy to trim.
I'd like to thank Justin from Unit Farm for supplying this light(UFS 3000) for me to try, I'd rec. this light
to anyone that has a small space and who doesn't want to break the bank. This light pulls only 200 watts
from the wall and is plug and play, adjustable by height and with a bit of adjusting it's easy to find the sweet spot.
The light runs a little bit on the warm side, so I suggest keeping a small fan blowing across the light. I've had two successfull
harvests under this light and I hope to have a couple more next fall. After Cindy is harvested I'll be shutting down this tent until
Sept.- Oct. Getting ready to start growing outdoors, Can't Wait!!
Thanks for stopping by👊👊..
Smok'em if you got'em😎..
Hey everybody, this is the end for CINDY, not what I was hoping for, kind of dissapointing.
Buds look great, are rock hard and frosty but hardly any smell and not real sticky.
It's the first time I didn't get any scissor hash after I trimmed the plant and removed all the stalk.
I ended up with 271 grams wet and after 5 days in the dry tent and at 58% r.h. 66 grams was the dry weight,
the scale says 65 grams because I smoked a big joint. Not bad, a little fieldish yet but the smile was on my face for awhile.
Hoping for better after a month or so in the jar...😑.
I'd like to say thanks again to Justin from Unit Farm, the light was/is a good low powered light which I would rec. to anyone
that has a low budget and wants to grow good weed, I'll be trying it again this coming fall, Sept-Oct.
So stay tuned👊👊..
Beauty! I've got some Cindy 99 from Blimburn seeds I've been meaning to pop, but I keep buying more strains 🤣. Good luck on her! PS: ROUGH game last night. The PK needs an overhaul
@@Louder,Nice👍. I know, when you see all these different strains,
you just want to grow them all😉, A little variety is the spice of life or that's what they say😎...
Need to take the body and worry about the puck later!!!next game tomorrow!!
If you let the plant fill up well the scrog I'm sure you'll get 1g/w 😉
I'm doing a bit Over that Mark with my organic sog (16plants, 300w, 375g of dried buds)...
Good luck!👍
@ManicMiner,Hopes are high, Me too😋...
If I kept the really small popcorn buds,(went to the frezzer for dry sift hash) I would've been a little closer.
I'm hoping Cindy will produce the magic numbers + a few grams.. One plant, 200 watts, LET"S GROW!!!
Thanks again!!
I really love your ability to manipulate her, I used to have that flow of invisioning its future canopy , it's been a long while since I've grown and I'm happy with my first attempt back..... Happy Growing Friend 😁
@Tropicannibis_Todd,Thanks👊, This plant is a tough one to bend
but if I work at it slowly it can be done, once she starts to flower
I should be able to manipulate the plant a little bit more when the stretching starts.
Have a good one!!
@MooSnuckle69,Happy New Year👊👊!!!
Mainlining or doing a manifold as I like to call it is fairly easy, just takes some practice.
It's the chopping up of a perfectly healthy plant that's hard to do😵...
I like to wait until the plant has 5-6 nodes and then take the top off at node
4 or 5, this time I left nodes 4 and 5 and trimmed all the rest off the plant.
Now you can trim and train as you wish and pick the number of COLA'S you want
before you flip to flower. I'll be doing 2 more manifolds once my Tropicanna Glookies
and Super Lemon Haze are a bit bigger, and I still get nervous when I have to chop a healthy plant.
It also gives you complete control of the size of your plant, if you have a large or small space you can adjust easily..
Hope this helps👊..
Subbed up brother nice looking setup u got there. An she is lookn bang on point for 6 days old nice man congrats an gud luck the rest of the way not tht u need it from the looks of the last few of ur journals lol. An nice job getting some photos going oh man I loved running photos when I had a perpetual garden grow running. I wud harvest every 2 to 3 weeks about 12 to 15 plants an as soon as I took some down an out moved new1s in there place lol. So yea I now took 7 White Widow clones jus to make sure I get a few going lol an then 2 from my Dr. Seedsman CBD 30:1 jus to start things off lol. An thats from the 2 photo beans I had in my personal stock tht I made way back when that i forgot i even had lmao. Plus they were a few years old an I definitely didn't store them great (in a taped up pill bottle so light wouldn't get in but definitely not air tight haha. But yea still got them to pop an grow so I musta done something right when I made them for them to stay gud an viable tht long under such crap conditions. Not to mention my new sponsored gear im running from Quebec Cannabis Seeds the Black Gold fast version and the Jack Berry are jus growing strong wait till I do an update 2morow an u see the girls now lol.
@ManicMiner,When temps get close to 0c(32f), it's a heat wave and we go fishing in our tee-shirts😀..
Woke up this morning to -32c,_ _ _ _ _ _ _ COLD!!! -40c and -40f are the same, that's where they meet
just to give you an idea of how friggin COLD it is. You can go outside and pee icicles😵😵😂
Later!!
@DeaneR,Thanks👊..
Going to give it my best effort. She's getting big already
and the branches are quite stiff, making training a little tough,
but the plant is really healthy, a few more weeks and I'll flip to flower😍, can't wait..
Happy New Year👊👊..
@deFharo, Not to sure, I've never checked.
I use six cups of water, 1 cup of sugar,1-1.5tsp yeast( Bread machine yeast, reg speed, not rapid) and 1/2 tsp bakig soda
in the big jar and plain water in the small container, after 5-6 days I add another 1/2-3/4
cup sugar and 1tsp yeast and I get another 4-5 days, Been using this method for quite awhile, It's
cheap, less than a buck a week and I think it helps, I've noticed the difference..
Later👊👊..
