~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2201 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/1- I soaked both seeds for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Vivosun Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged roughly 24 hours later. 12/3- Today the tap root on one of the seeds was about 1/4 to 3/8" so at 11 am I transferred it into a Jiffy Peat Pellet that was hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph using a tine off of a plastic fork as a 'mini trowel' to make a hole in the pellet and to gently cover the tap root, leaving only the seed head slightly exposed. This method accomplishes most of the initial work the seed has to do by eliminating having to orientate itself, push it's root down and head up. By 10pm the #1 seed had her cotyledon leaves opened ...calling the #2 a 'fail to germinate' and I'm not going to soak another... We'll let it ride with just one of this tester. 😉👍 12/5- Well this is Day ONE for the #1 FBT #2201! I'll keep her in the covered/heated Jiffy tray until I see her roots beginning to emerge from the peat pellet, then I'll transfer her gently into her 4g Gronest fabric pot from FastBuds. 12/7- Yesterday I checked her, she had roots starting to emerge from her pellet so tomorrow I'll transfer her into her 4g Gronest pot. 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I know I will! Grow Strong! 💪😎🤙

I previously filled it with some amended coco/perlite and watered it with de-chlorinated water with 1 tbsp. of unsulfured molasses along with 5ml/g of Fishhead Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner to give the microbes a jump start. Before I placed her Jiffy pellet into her new pot, I coated the hole with 1 tbsp. of Xtreme Gardening's Mycos which I love using! After putting her in the pot and making her snug and comfy, I watered her with just 6oz of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner added and then ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉. After I watered her I placed a clear Solo cup over her to help her acclimate to her new digs. I'll remove the cup as soon as I see she's not stressed and is remaining perky. The #2201 tester looks right at home in her 4g pot! Since I had already watered the pot a couple of days before she was transferred to it, she'll not need a whole lot of moisture and as I'm keeping the VPD in the tent on point I'm only watering about every third day right now. 12/10- Yesterday I removed the clear Solo cup from her. She is doing fantastic and looking really looking healthy as hell... I'm impressed!😍👍 Today was basically just checking on her, because at this stage she's not drinking much. I have the RH in the tent set to 75% and with the temp's running in the mid 70's℉ my VPD numbers are real close to being ideal, currently running at .88-.90 but I'd like them to be closer to a .68-.70 during this early vegetation period. 12/12- Yesterday I watered her with 0.1g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fishhead Farms Fishsh!t added, and then ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉. She's looking great and is now 3" in height with her second true set of leaves almost fully developed. She's maintaining excellent health and vigor with no signs of stress. I've finally got the environment in the tent dialed in and on point maintaining VPD #'s between 0.61-0.67 achieved by keeping the temperature at 75℉ and the RH at 77-80%. 12/14- I watered her this morning with the usual 0.1g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner added and then ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. Onward to next week where this girl should be sprouting some new sets of leaves and getting taller! 😎🤙💚 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! When I checked on her today her medium was still moist so I'll let her go and check her tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure her medium doesn't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch her grow! 🤩 12/17- Yesterday I watered her and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen her branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched her grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered her with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses added which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. She is really starting to take off now, a sure sign her roots are beginning to get well developed, and I'm thinking of going ahead and topping her in the next day or so. 12/21- Well, yesterday I went ahead and topped this girl! Hopefully she won't stress out over this and starts shooting out those secondary branches. Today I watered her with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into her drip pan so she can draw it up into her medium, the rest I applied to the top of the medium just to moisten it. Well there's two weeks of veg behind us now, Week Three of vegetation is beginning and she should really start to take off! 😍👍 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Based on her structure, I'd say she's Sativa dominate for sure and this hopefully will mean she veg's longer which will result in a BIGGER plant! She was watered yesterday with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner added, then ph'd to 6.4 @ 71℉. Today her medium was still plenty moist and she felt heavy when lifted so all I did today was fill the humidifier to maintain 55-60% RH in the tent. 12/24- I watered today with 0.5g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.4 @ 73℉. It's been three days since she was topped and she has new shoots sprouting out nicely! She's got a healthy green color to her and remains extremely vigorous! The tent environment remains pretty much ideal with daytime temp's a constant 74℉ and the RH running at 55-60% giving a VPD in the 0.99 - 1.05. I also have the HLG 650R turned up to 50% power now which is roughly 330w at the wall and have it still at 36" above canopy which she's tolerating exceptionally! 12/26- Yesterday was a 'dry day' but when I checked today her pot was lite so I watered with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with 5ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner added, then ph'd to 6.4 @ 71℉ which I administered through her dip pan to maintain moisture in the lower third of her pot to get those roots expanding.... Remember BIG roots = BIG plants! 😁💚 She is going through some explosive growth now and you can almost sit and see her grow.... Unbelievable! 🤩💚 I have not, as yet, done any LST on her due to her structure, but that may change as she develops further... we'll see! 12/28- I didn't water yesterday and only gave a 'lite' watering today as she was still fairly heavy. I just watered enough to moisten the top layer of the medium. I added to the de-chlorinated water I use, 1.2ml/g of Dutch Pro Silica and 3.8ml/g of Dutch Pro Root Enhancer which was then ph'd to 6.0 @ 74℉. Well there's three weeks of vegetation and four weeks since sprouting behind us now! Week Four of veg will be exciting with the accelerated growth rate she's having and I'll be expecting her to begin her transition into flower to start to commence! 😍💚 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I know I will! Much love 💚 and Grow Strong! 💪😎🤙

It's been a month since this pretty lady popped out of the ground and she's looking perfect with pistils popping out everywhere! Her 4g Gronest fabric pot was still heavy when lifted, and she looked happy, so I skipped watering today and will check on her tomorrow morning after the lights come on. Since being topped roughly a week ago, she has two new shoots that are emerging and she continues looking extremely healthy with excellent vigor and have a beautiful healthy green color! She's up to 9" =/- now and even though she's beginning to flower, she's continuing to stretch which I'm attributing to her having some Sativa dominate genetics in her....This girl has long legs! 12/31- Today was a 'dry day and all I did was refill the humidifier and some canopy maintenance, tucking shade leaves and gently bending branches. It's been a little over four weeks since she was planted in her amended medium and it's time to give the microbes a good feed so they can continue to provide her with all the macro and micro nutrients she needs so, yesterday she got a good watering with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with GreenGro's Veg, Flower, Green Aminos, Natures Brix and Granular Myco added to it @ 1.5 tsp/g and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 73℉. 01/02- Yesterday I watered her from the bottom with 0.5g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g of Earth Juice OilyCann cal-mag to prevent any Cal-Mag issues before they arrive. I also have the HLG 650R set 36" above canopy and it's set at 60% power which is being controlled by a Trolmaster HydroX controller. The tent environment is on point with temp's running 70 when the light's off and 74℉ with the light on. I'm keeping the RH at 55-60% right now but will drop it as flowering progresses. Finally, I've been keeping the VPD in the tent running 0.85 - 1.05 which I'm happy with! 01/04- She's been doing well getting watered every other day and yesterday she received 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t Soil Conditioner which was then ph'd to 6.3 @ 72℉. She's definitely a big girl and with her wide node spacing doesn't really require any defoliation, just some LST and watch her grow! She's maintaining great color, vigor and is progressing into flower nicely! Well, there goes another week in our journey and I'm looking forward to the coming weeks as flowering gets cranked up! 😍👍 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! With a month of growth since sprouting and a week in flower, this 'Tester' by FastBuds is doing exceptionally well and looking fantastic! I watered her today with 0.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that was ph'd to 6.2 @ 72℉. I also did a little LST on her, gently bending down her branches to create an even canopy to let the lower growth catch up to the rest of the plant. 1/7- Today was a feed/water day. I gave her 0.5g of de-chlorinated water with GreenGro's Green Aminos, Granular Myco, Natures Brix added and then ph'd to 6.4. Before I watered I added 1/2 cup of Down To Earth 4-8-4 slow release dry organic amendment, 1 tbsp. of GreenGro's Biochar Blend and 1 1/2 cups of worm castings that I worked into the top layer of medium, after which I watered it in. I also went ahead and filled the 50# tank of co2 and connected it to the Autopilot co2 Controller which I set at 1000ppm's with a 100ppm window. Now that she's in flower I'll be gradually increasing the wattage to the light and want to keep her growing at her peak potential. 1/9- Now that this lady is into flower she has gotten thirstier and I'm watering daily now with 0.5g of straight de-chlorinated water. I'm turning her pot 1/4 turn daily, tucking shade leaves, doing some mild LST and removing stubborn shade leaves blocking light from the center of her. 1/11- I'm watering her daily with 0.5g of straight de-chlorinated water which is ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉. I did some more LST on her and also removed some shade leaves that were blocking light penetration and refused to stay tucked away. She continues on a mission and is producing some beautiful little flowers of which she's got a ton of bud sites now due to the topping and LST! Well my friends, there's two weeks of flowering behind us and Week Three promises to start to get exciting as these girls should really begin to strut their stuff and start to really look amazing! 🤩💚 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 1/12- Here we go into the 3rd week of flower for this lady and she's looking amazing with some absolutely captivating flowers in the making! I'm continuing with my regime of daily watering, leaf tucking, branch bending and pot turning. I'm also closely monitoring the environmental conditions as I noticed that my co2 ppm was low and found that the regulator was bad. No worries as I always keep two backups for any mechanical/electrical equipment as they seem to fail when you need them most! I have the HLG 650R's hung 34" above canopy and set at 75% now through a Trolmaster light controller and have my A/C unit in the grow room set to 65℉ which is keeping tent temp's at 73-74℉ with the lights on. The A/C is on a timer which shuts it off with the lights keeping 'night' temp's at 68℉. The RH in the tent is a constant 44-45% and I've got plenty of air circulation on her keeping her leaf temp's at 72-74℉. 1/14- Today I continued with the daily regime of watering with 0.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that was ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉. Before I watered I top dressed her medium with 1/2 cup of Down To Earth Bio-Fish to give an additional boost of P & K since she's into flower. This girl is already making some killer looking flowers that are beginning to have some 'frost' appearing! 1/16- I gave her a heavy water yesterday with almost 0.75g and today she was 'praying' hard so I skipped watering today and will pick it up again tomorrow. I wish I had popped more than one of this strain as she is beginning to look like she'll be an epic cultivar! Way to go FastBuds! 💚 1/18- I watered yesterday and today when I tilted her she was light, so I watered her again but without runoff. Her flowering is off the hook with some monster buds forming and her health remains on point! There's three weeks of flower behind her now with another 5-7 weeks yet to go which should be getting more exciting as she progresses through flower! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I know I will! Much love 💚 and Grow Strong! 💪😎🤙

Today I gave both girls their last top dressing with Down To Earth 4-8-4 Flower Mix at a ratio of 2tbsp/g and Coast of Maine's Stonington Blend 5-2-4 Organic Plant Food at a ratio of 1tbsp/g which I simplified by using 1/3 cup of the 4-8-4 and 1/4 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 4g pot and 3/8 cup of 4-8-4 and 1/8 cup of the 5-2-4 in the 3g pot. After working the amendments into the medium, I watered it in with 1g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. It will take a week for the microbes to begin breaking it down and will last for 3-4 weeks after that which should coincide with them finishing up, or close to it, enabling them to naturally 'flush' themselves out. I've also increased the power to the HLG 650R's the the Trolmaster Hydro X Controller to 75% which has them pulling 990w at the wall and have them hung 32" above canopy. I also starting adding in 4 hours of UVA during the middle of the light cycle for the remainder of flower. I've been monitoring their leaf temperatures and they're running 71-73℉ which is perfect! I have the AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller set to 1100ppm with a 100ppm window and the AC Infinity Cloudline T6 controller set to maintain a 74℉ temperature in the tent while the lights are on. 1/21- I'm watering her daily with straight de-chlorinated water ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉ and she stays in a perpetual state of 'praying'.... a VERY happy girl she is! 1/23- I watered/fed today with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water with GreenGro's Natures Brix, Granular Myco and Flower Finisher mixed in, after which I added 1 tsp/g of unsulfured molasses and then ph'd it to 6.6 @ 74℉. 1/25- Daily watering continued today with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 74℉. She's looking fantastic and I'm really looking forward to Week Five of flower where she should really start to strut her stuff! 😍💚 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! FBT2201 is stacking her flowers, and they're the size of lemons, super dense with a generous coating of trichomes already! I skipped watering today but will be watering in the morning with the usual 0.75g of de-chlorinated water that is ph'd to 6.5-6.6 @ 72℉ I'm turning her pot 1/4 turn daily just before the UVA kicks on (she is getting 4 hours of UVA daily in the middle of the light cycle) and continuing to tuck and/or remove shade leaves to keep the light penetration at it's highest going down into her canopy. I've got the HLG 650R's at 85% now and hung at 32" above the canopy. The tent temp's are at 73℉ with the lights on and drop to 68deg with the lights off. The AutoPilot APC8200 co2 Controller is set at 1200ppm's now and the tent is maintaining an average co2 level of 1100ppm's currently. Humidity levels are constant at 38-44% giving VPD's in the 1.40-1.60 range.😎👍 We're about halfway to the finish line and the coming weeks with this lady should be getting very interesting indeed! 1/28- I watered her yesterday with 0.75g of de-chlorinated water that is ph'd to 6.5-6.6 @ 72℉, after which I gave her pot a turn and tucked in a few shade leaves that were blocking light from flowers. This tester from FastBuds is really shaping up to be an exceptional plant and my only regret at this time is that I only germinated one! She's really stacking now and her aroma is getting stronger as well. 1/30- All I did today was water her with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉ and turned her pot. She's full of flowers and looking exceptional! 2/1- Well there goes another week and our journey is quickly coming to a close with this lady now 60 days from breaking ground. I'm checking her trichomes daily and anticipate she'll be going in the dark for 48 hours before being harvested and hung to begin the drying/curing process in the next 48hrs! I watered her with 0.75g of straight de-chlorinated water ph'd to 6.6 @ 72℉, turned pots and told her how beautiful she was! Onward to the Ninth and final week for the 2201tester from FastBuds! So far, this has been a super fun grow with this tester that was super easy to cultivate and the end result (as always from FastBuds) is an epic cultivar that checks off all the boxes! /Stay tuned for the finals for this girl, it should be interesting to see her yield and how her flowers turn out once trimmed! 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I know I will! Much love 💚 and Grow Strong! 💪😎🤙

I apologize for my lack of journal entries as I've been a little 'under the weather' and have just been focusing on keeping myself and the garden healthy. I watered her this morning and then placed her in the dark late in the evening where she'll spend 48-72hrs there boosting her trichome production. I'll be monitoring her while she's in the dark to make sure that her medium doesn't dry out so she can continue to carry on her processes. 2/6- This evening, after 72hrs in the dark, I removed her and shot a few pic's of her and removed all of the large fan leaves before cutting her and hanging her to dry. She'll be hanging in the dark for 7-10 days with a constant 58-62℉ and the RH running @ 50% for the first 24hrs, then 60% for the remainder of the time. My drying room has fans, AC/Heat, de-humidifier and a humidifier to keep the room at the ideal temperature and humidity levels throughout the drying process. Next post will be the harvest of this frosty lady so stay tuned! 🤩💚 😎💚 Thank you for checking out my passion in life! Please visit as often as you wish and I hope you enjoyed this journey as much as I have! Much love 💚 and Grow Strong! 💪😎🤙

This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity to cultivate this awesome strain to its full potential! The one drawback of 'testers' is having little to no information on them other than its number and that it's an autoflower... ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seed was lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which it was transferred to a moist paper towel laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where it stayed until the tap root emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellet that was hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once her roots emerged from the Jiffy Pellet, she was transferred to her fabric pot. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ This girl broke ground on 12/5/21 and grew until 3/6/22, a total of 65 days, at which she was cut and hung to dry for 7-10 days. Overall this was a super easy strain to grow organically. I maintained a proper environment throughout the grow cycle, keeping the VPD numbers in the ideal range for 90+% of the run which is the key to getting optimal results along with proper feeding/watering. This Gorilla Punch was the only 'single' of the group of Testers I ran, with the other strains having two plants each to try to see different phenotypes, I now wish I had germinated a second one of this as OMG it turned out absolutely AMAZING! 😍 She was topped twice so she only reached 26" in height and I'm sure without topping she'd have another 10-14" in height. After germination she started to flower at Day 24 and with her wide node spacing developed into a gorgeous cultivar as is typical of all the FastBuds strains I've grown. This Gorilla Punch developed some beautiful flowers that were stacked tight, were completely covered in glistening trichomes and have a beautiful coloration consisting of light greens, lavender and pink that are contrasted by an abundance of orange pistils giving them tremendous 'bag appeal'. In closing, it's no wonder why this Gorilla Punch from FastBuds took 1st Place for "Best Sativa Strain" at the Autoflower World Cup! Gorilla Punch checks off ALL the boxes and will not disappoint even the most experienced smokers, and for extractions... Get ready for some of the tastiest, hardest hitting rosin you've pressed! I'd recommend this strain to everyone from 'newbies' to experienced growers, this is a gem you will want to keep in your collection for sure! Way to go FastBuds!!! 🏆😎👍
