This strainers so frosty and smelly outdoors that I just needed to try her indoors under perfect conditions.
She germinated a bit later than the red hot cookies but she’s looking good ✌️

Welcome to the first week of flowering for my black DOG.
Luckily her stretching was not as strong as with the red hot cookies, so it’s a easy strain right now✌️ But she’s looking good and slowly starts to flower!

She’s not as fast growing as the red hot cookies, but she also doesn’t get as much light as they do.
Also she’s less needier of nutrition, but still produces some nice buds with exceptionally long pistils!
EC is heightened to 1.9 and as well as the red hot cookies she also thrives with that.

Sadly she gets overtaken by the red hot cookies plants… she won’t yield a lot, but I knew that when I decided to set the focus on the red hot cookies this time.
Welcome to the fifth week of flowering for my black dog.
She’s still pretty small in comparison to the red hot cookies, won’t be a big harvest…

Welcome to the harvest report on my black dog!
She was a sidechick of that grow, but surprised with a complex smell and a high quality high!
GROW:
From the beginning on I had less focus on her as she was more like a small project and the red hot cookies were the main object of interest.
But still she performed really good and grew quite big as well, with less branches though.
FLOWERING:
It took her some days to establish the flower, actually 5 days more than the red hot cookies which might be reasoned in the less light she received.
She quickly became really frosty and she had big leaves full of sugar.
She even developed some purple tones at the end of flowering, still not as much as the red hot cookies but she looked beautiful.
After 9 weeks and a few days I harvested her and received about 20 grams of more or less thick buds, most of them were really fluffy due to the less light.
SMELL:
Definitely a highlight about this strain is her smell.
She smells like Berries, but also apples and some cookie, so she has a really complex aroma which is nice to experience in its depth.
EFFECT:
The effect of black dog is nicely balanced between a chilled stoned and an entertaining, social although not trippy high.
Smoking her makes you want to laugh and be with friends, which is easy because you don’t fall asleep that fast (you’ll still fall asleep later easily;) )
So I’d suggest smoking her in the afternoon of at evenings with friends, as the aroma is always a highlight for everybody enjoying complex terpene profiles.
