the plants have been growing good, I gave them the wrong amount of nutrients at first I think due to my measuring syringes not having a 0 next to 0.1 etc and my stoner brain didn't check but they've been fine so far still and they'll probably have a boost in growth once I continuously apply the right amount [I was microdosing them by alot before for the reason above, like giving them 0.03 instead of 0.3 etc, my bad] I also plan to top them eventually.
[18/12/21]
The plants are looking good still, I'll be giving them nutrients on 20/12, will update with photos then or if there's anything of note before then
I repotted two of the plants the other day, one has had some problems, probably a bit of root damage, I'm not bothered if it doesn't fully recover though because it was one of my free seeds and the other plants look like they're going well, will also be repotting the last gdp plant in a day or so, will also top the GDP #1 plant in a day or so as well[to let roots get a bit more established since its only been in there a day or two]
No nutrients for this week because I used plain water as I go between nutrients and no nutrients every 3 days [for example I might put nutrients in on the 10th of jan then on the 14th I'd put plain water just so there isn't a salt buildup or too many nutrients at once]
all plants have been topped now and are growing well, there didn't seem to be a shock when they were topped and they're all looking nice to me now, even the one that had a bit of stress due to transplanting looks fine to me now, I also installed a scrog net so when they start flowering I can guide the bud sites through them and have an even canopy hopefully
the light distance is 88cm away cause I was having slight light burn on one or two of the plants before when it was at 79 but they seem to be growing well with no major issues at 88cm away [or issues from the light that I can tell]
the plants are going well, im probably going to switch to flower in 2 or 3 weeks depending on if I can get bigger pots and a tray for them or not, I've also been defoliating the GDP plants and occasionally the MT plant if the leaves appear to be blocking the nodes/colas under it and the plants have been looking healthy
No Nutrients This Week, the plants have started budding and some of the buds have trichomes. I also set up a dripper system since its difficult to get in the tent with a watering can to water manually. the plants are in week 4 of flowering.
forgot to update, will update when I have some spare time, switched them into flowering a few days ago, like said will update when I get some free time
will update tomorrow or day after, I also cloned some of the GDP plants so I might post a pic of how they clones are doing when they start growing a bit since I only cloned them today
will update today with pics if I get time, but just as a small update gdp plants haven't grown vertically much but I think thats to be expected since its indica dominant if I remember correctly [could also be because I need some new pots for them since I think I saw some small roots emerging at the bottom of one, dont have enough money at the moment as well as its a bit difficult to find an inexpensive tray for the floor] and the matanuska thunder plant is going through the net [although I lowered the net a small bit so I could put a node/cola through there since the leaves of one of the top nodes/colas was touching the grow tent]
sorry that I still haven't updated, I'm waiting for some pots and some saucers for them to arrive since some of the plants need repotting [they should arrive in 2 days or not long after so thats when I'll update the diary again]
gonna be updating in a couple hours, I transplanted one of the GDP to a fabric pot since it was getting time to transplant and there were some roots near the side of the cup [after I cut the cup open], so I think its normal as they weren't circling or anything, it looked normal to me and just let me know that it was the right time to transplant
[forgot to update yesterday, I have to transplant so I might get a pic of the roots if I can, I'll also update with pics of the plants]
