Using what was suggested from the manufacture and downloaded light meter to test. 32 inches from the seedling using 20%. Aiming for 75 temp 50% humidity level based on research. Keeping lux at 5500 per what was suggested. I am using a 18/6 light schedule and fox farms soil. I am not adding nutrients at this time. I added water to the soil last night. I soaked rapid root plugs for an hour and sprayed soil with water. I am using distilled water during the grow.

I kept the topsoil misted with distilled water daily. After 1.5 week I switched to watering every 2-3 days. I feed one gallon to all plants at each feeding. I have not started feeding any nutrients. Using an 18/6 light cycle and light remains at the same distance and settings.

I have lowered the light from 32 to 26 and increased the dimmer to 60%. Fed 2 gallons of water this week still not using nutrients. I have been misting the soil 2x per week. I have not had to use the humidifier or heater. The inside fan is running constantly I have been running the outside fan sporadically. I started the low stress training. The two plants furthest away did not have enough room to spread out and I had to stop training. Will remember to plant towards the side of the pot so it has more room to stretch. Will also need to fill the soil all the way to the top in future grows using LST.

How do you know if your LST Training is going well?

Simply if it takes the shape you want and especially if you see that the plant does not stress too much, in case you notice a slow growth, especially in the case of autoflowering it could lead to a poor final yield.

LST is going well if your plant is taking up a bigger even footprint in your tent. more light to all the nodes. really good advice in the other answers here as well. Best of Luck

LST attempt was a bust. As I did not plant near the edge and did not fill the soil all the way to the top I was unable to bend them without hitting the edge. LST is off for this grow. I am still using only water and have not yet added any nutrients. The inside fan is on constantly but the main fan I am using intermittently as the humidity level drops when in use. The temperature maintains itself I am not running the humidifier or heater.

I have not added any nutrients but I did add soil to each of the pots. Two plants went into flower last week and the rest are just there or are close. I still have been running the fan minimally as this was taking all the humidity. The smell is getting bad so I had to start running the big fan and the humidifier. Watering is still slow as the soil is still moist. I am using 2 gallons of distilled water per week split between all 8 plants. This is the 1st grow where I have not topped or trimmed due to the auto flower recommendations.

Do you recommend adding soil as opposed to adding nutrients for auto flowers? I've had issues with nutrient burn even when halving the recommend feeding schedule. I tried this grow without nutrients.

If you talking about top dressing your plants for nutrients with dry amendments or super soil vs using liquid feed you can do that. I feel if its just more soil it will not be fortified enough for the plant to sustain its self till end of flower. Will need some other things in there like Dr.Earth/GaiaGreen Soil is normally only good for transplanting and you should not transplant an auto. just not enough feed in it. Dry Amendments will need a top up every 2.5-3 weeks and take a few days to kick in. If you still have liquid feed kicking aorund this is a handy tool. Use this feeding chart for a guideline of how much you should be feeding. It used EC/PPM https://www.autoflower.net/forums/threads/med-man-method-feeding-chart-ppm-ec.47856/ Good Luck.

I would not recommend transplanting if your already in flower. I found when feeding autos use half of what they recommend. I’ll even start out at 1/4 strength and work my way up.
