I got my seeds from Garden of Green today 12/17/2021. And have started trying to germinate the seeds. Will update when seeds germinate 😁.
Seeds germinated on 12/19/2021 and will put into soil 12/20/2021. Will add a new week once we see a sprout
Its taken a minute but it looks like we are seeing some sprouts! Unfortunately I was out of town for the Holiday and the humid chamber dried out. This mightve damaged the other sprouts, but I'll give it a few days before I declare them dead. If they don't make it ill sprout more but it's really a shame what poor planning can do.
Sherbet 1 sprouted on 12/23/2021 and is so far looking confident every day.
-12/28/2021: looks well and is slightly leggy but should work out great for future transplant.
Sherbert 2?
For record keeping 12/29 will be week 1, but each potential plant will have their weeks noted more specifically in the comments section.
Unfortunately looks like the other seed sprout didn't make it either, so we only had 1 survive. It happens, and is likely due to them having dried out. Such is life.
Sherbet 1: W2D2 12/31/2021 Looks as though new set of leaves are starting to come in. Added fresh water to basin, will be planting new seeds along with this one (see other diaries).
W2D7 (1.5.22) so far looking good. Will transplant to 5 gallon pot this weekend now that we're looking at week 3.
So far the Sherbet is taking well. It's gotta be outgrowing this peat pot, so we're gonna be doing a transplant this weekend. We're already getting a couple nodes developed already, which is really nice to see 😁.
More updates once we transplant
1.12.2022
We transplanted this Guy to the final 5 gallon pot qnd topped while we're at it. Can't wait to see how the growth comes along :)
Cheers

Atwater transplant this Sherbet has been pretty slow in growth which is expected tbh. We're seeing the recovery from the topping though and the lower growth is also bushing up nice and well. Can't wait for the future growth.
But of a late updated but as of 1.17.22 we are on W4D5 we should be ready to flower I'm just a few weeks! And I'm looking at doing the first feeding in just a few days.
Cheers til next time

This guy is currently working and building strength back up. After getting topped we're really starting to see shoots come out and it's a surprisingly even spread out.
W5D3
Looking healthy, but I am looking at the beginning of a deficiency maybe. It may be time to go ahead and start feeding.
W3D5
Still looking good.
W3D7
Signs of deficiency looks like they are picking up so went ahead and fead with Dr. Earth veg.

So far seeing some good growth and I wanna try and encourage the crown structure. I'll be doing some more lst and trimming later
W6D6
Good robust growth. Responds to training very well. Will see how this translates into flower
Overall, the Sherbet is going pretty great honestly. Looking at flipping into flower in the next week or so.

I forgot to take notes this week. We didn't do much but just water and keep an eye on the plant. Overall looks great. After doing a last bit of LST to insure better airflow, I also defoliated a lot of the lower growth. I hope this'll help the top bud production

Moved to the flower tent today! Did a final trim and moved into flower. I'll be expecting to feed in about a week or so.
W8D6
Stretch is starting though not too drastic. Curious to see how it grows at the end of it all
Overall feeling good about this one. Getting some paranoia from the cbd grow so I'll be keeping a close eye to make sure this one is female

Did our bi weekly feeding today. A total of 4 tbsp of the flower girl 3-9-4 and 2 tbsp of the 4-4-4 all purpose fertilizer as a top dress. In previous grows I've done just the flower girl so this time i want to see if the all purpose will help. I've been noticing that there are deficiencies towards the end of the 2 week period, and I hope this bump in food helps. We'll see 🤞🏿
Throughout the week, the plant had some mild burning on the lower leaves. Overall the plant has been pretty resilient and doing well. Looking forward to more growth going forward!

So far the plants are doing well! Now that we are coming to the halfway point, we are seeing good bud development and hopefully scent soon (tbh it just smells like poop,a.k.a fertilizer and a mild smell of weed)
W11D3
I decided to do an extra feeding today because it did not look like this plant was extra hungry and needed more to combat their deficiencies. Overall, the plant is doing well.
So far after that extra feeding I've seen a bit more burning but overall the plants are in good healthy.i think I'll taper back the 4-4-4 for the next feeding, maybe even quit altogether. Normally we do feeding every 2 weeks but I think I may need to do more frequent feedings around every 10 days instead of 14 days.

So far we are doing much better and healthier. Like it's sibling in the other journal we are seeing the deficient damage reducing in scale, letting me know the better feeding has helped.
Buds are stacking well and the white hairs are spitting all over. This weekend i want to try and do a bit of digging around the leaves to check for hermaphrodite and do a final defoliation.
Last feed was Monday 3/14. Next feed will be the 24th.
Cheers til next time

So far this girl is coming out well and she smells like chocolate!! We do have some signs of a deficiency, so I'm making sure my pH in the water is in that sweet spot of 6.5 or so and making sure to add a bit of extra food. Hopefully the damage will start to recover 🤞🏿
W14D1 24Mar2022
So far this plant looks strong still. Seeing some clawing in the leaves but im not sure if that's the fan blowing on it, heat, or something else altogether. I'll give it some more time and see where things are going.
I did a light defoliation of all the dead leaves and some of the smaller buds that weren't going anywhere so hopefully will see that improve how this girl is growing.
Overall resilient plant, but still needs to have a careful hand
W15D1 - 31 Mar 2022
Overall plant is doing well. I gave a blend of Dr. Earth kelp and a bit more of a flower girl feed. If she keeps showing def. Signs I might need to do a mid week feed but let's try and wait and see.
Overall she's doing well and putting on dome good chunkiness. She smells very very sweet and isn't super lunget but Starting to get there. I'm hoping she'll survive the upcoming move soon.

We are at the harvest!!! At the start of the week,on D2, i moved and had this lil guy kept in darkness for 48hours as she was ready to go ahead and be chopped down. On D4 she got the final chop and is now hanging to dry. In a few days we'll be ready to trim and harvest!
Can't wait to dry and sample this girl!
Cheers til next time where I review the harvest process!

Honestly I liked the grow. But the nice citrus smell when I was trimming honestly made me think of Sherbet. I couldn't wait to try it. Since we pressed it out, I used my hunibadger to test it out.
The flavor of this plant honestly makes me think of an orange Creamsicle. Its really nice and uplifting. Overall a solid high and smoking experience. I'm definitely going to have to grow this one again.
