So excited to see how this girl does! I have a bit of an overcrowding situation in my grow tent due to poor timing... And the fact that my current grow far exceeded my expectations
Not much to report this week... Just watering with plain, pH balanced water as she needs it. She's in a 5 gallon pot to start which may slow her down initially, but I'm trying to time things with the harvest of my maturing plants!
She's definitely growing. It's super fun watching her, I can literally see the leaf growth every time I check in! I'm going to LST her for sure, but depending on how she looks, I'll consider higher stress. I love a good top/FIM
12/31- over did it on the watering today. My bad.
Vegetative growth is taking off- so far no complications other that my cat taking a bite out of a leaf while I was distracted.
1/6: stalk is getting thicker... Visible changes in leaves as the days go. Truly growing like a weed
1/8: added some lst clips and attempted a fim... I figured the leaves are already ugly from my cats sampling, so why not try? Water + half strength grow big given. So far these clips have fallen off at least 1200 times🙄
1/10: did some leaf tuckin'
1/12: lots more leaf tucking today. She's taking waterings like a champ. I'm always so worried about overwatering but she seems to be growing well
1/14: did a little more lst, so she's looking a little bit like an ugly duckling. Hoping the effort plays out. Attempted to adjust some clips and accidentally broke a stem. I splinted that up with some tape... Also my attempt at a fim is growing out... She's looking a little rough right now, but honestly, aren't we all?
1/15: watered and some leaf tucking this morning. Excited for the top to not look like a hot mess!
1/17: the ugly duckling phase is strong with this one. Gave her a good watering today and attempted some leaf tucking, only sacrificing one fan leaf.
1/19: tolerating watering. Looking like I'll possibly get three main colas? Also this plant has some huge fan leaves!
1/22: More leaf tucking, more water. Temporarily moving her out of the tent for space reasons... Hopefully just for a week. Currently just giving pH balanced water. Vegetativee growth is starting to explode! Can't wait to see her keep growing!
1/26: Honestly, this plant is just living it's best life outside of the tent. She's proving to be resilient. Unsure what's happening with the leaves...I'll be doing some research on that. Watered with pH balanced water, but will be considering nutrients, pending the aforementioned research.
1/29: Vegetative growth is exploding! So far she's been an absolute joy to grow. I do believe that I'm seeing some signs of pre-flowering, which is super exciting! Gave her a solid watering/light nutritients and moved her back into the tent for a more favorable light situation. She requires significant leaf tucking...some of the fan leaves are gigantic and they're blocking a lot of the lower potential lower bud sites. Looking forward to what's to come!
2/2: Some of the huge fan leaves had to go. Not even the strongest of tucking would control them. Flowering is officially starting! Trying to rotate to get as much light to bud sites as possible. Excited to see where things go with this one.
2/5: determined that there was a bit of a light burn situation. Decided to pull her from the tens for a good flushing and then rearranged the tent a bit to keep her off to the side a bit.
2/7: she's a big girl. I have her flying solo in the tent for now..
2/9: pH balanced water given today. Flowering sites are starting to explode a bit. Top leaves appear to have light burn. I've got my light at max height so I can't move it up any higher..trying to push the light over to the side as best I can
2/11: light defoliation and feeding... Coming along nicely!
2/15: Bud sites are really starting to thicken up. I think she's going to have to fat buds on her in the future. Gave a pH balanced flush today and rotated her in the tent.
2/19: Unsure if I have a light burn situation or a nutrient situation. Opted for another pH balanced rinse in lieu of nutes. Unfortunately I can't raise my light any higher. Will monitor..
3/1: water flush + a rather ballsy defoliation. This is one dense MFer. Bud sites are heavy and I suspect will need support. Even though she's got something going on with her leaves (likely light burn), she's a good producer.
3/12: looks like a few weeks left. Buds are dense AF. Leaves are still looking sad. Opted to give light nutrients today. Not going to lie, as much as I love growing, I'm ready for a break!
