Starting to get my 2nd grow ready for when my first grow is done in the tent.
Took 2 days for her to sprout on top of the water heater in my utility room.
She looks good so far.
Stuck the rapid rooter right into the soil.
Im running 4 Purple Kush 2 in organic soil mixes and 2 in hydro DWC Bubbleponics.
Im going to make different grow diary for each since they are different nutrients.
Im doing it for comparison.
Still only doing light waterings every 2-3 days and just around her small root zone for now. Will increase watering amount as I see more plant above the soil.
So far she is doing really good. Already has her 5 finger leaf set out and starting to her second set of fan leaves.
I transplanted her into a 7 gallon fabric pot where she will grow till harvest.
I mixed in 1/2 cup of Dr Earth Tomato and Herb dry ferts in the top 4" of soil.
Now have to wait a week then begin the Dr Earth expert feeding schedule.
Shes growing fast this week.

Day 22 - Starting Week 1 of Dr Earth Feeding schedule. Made up 2 cups of Dr Earth Transformer. Added 3/8 cup Dr. Earth Tomato Veg Herb dry ferts and scratched it in. Watered a little and then poured the 2 cups of Met transformer around the plant.
Day 24 - Topped her above the 5th node
Note - Noticed one of the fan leaves is lightening up. Ive been careful with the watering. The coco and peat mix is retaining water still from last watering. Moisture meter reading wet as soon as I poke it in. Not sure if its nute burn or light burn forming. Will keep an eye on it.
Day 26 - She's starting to grow branches

Day 29 - Fully watered her pot and fed the Dr Earth Pot of Gold. 2 cups water 1/2 tbsp of the fert. Watered 1 gal of water and then watered in the liquid fert.
She should get a nicer dark green in a day or two. She looks nice and healthy and her growth is outpacing the 2 in DWC.
Pot of Gold has to be pH upped its very acidic. Used Potassium Bicarbonate to pH up. Only needed 1/2 tsp to get to 6.5 very strong base and you get potassium too.
Day 32 - She's growing really nice and steady. Slightly darker green. Watered 2 cups of Recharge solution yesterday.

Day 37 - Removal Scrog net and used tomato cages with legs cut down. Tied down the branches and have a very nice flat canopy with excellent light penetration.
She looks good but seems like she may need a Nitrogen boost. Just watered her today with the Metabolic Transformer feed. Ill make a compost tea with the Dr Earth Veg nutes next feed or feed her 4 cups of the Pot of Gold nutes.
Day 39 - She's filling in and growing consistently.

Day 44 - This bush she is more spread out than the other soil grow I LSTd. Nodes are a bit farther apart.
She is filling in and looks nice and healthy.
Still battling fungus gnats. Hung more yellow stickies. I'll have to spread more DE on it soon. I'm thinking of buying sand and making a 1 inch layer of sand on top so the gnats can't get into the soil to lay eggs. I did apply Neem oil to the soil top today.
Day 47 - She's growing very nice. She's got more node spacing than my Coots mix grow. Nice color.
She is 2ft wide 2ft long and 13.5 in high now.
Probably flipping the lights next weekend.

Day 49 - Defoliated the lower branches and leaves. She is showing maturity with preflowers now visible. Flipping the light schedule in the grow tent next weekend.
Day 50 - Feeding day. This week is Metabolic Transformer and Pot of Gold. 1 1/2 gal mix of Metabolic Transformer and 2 cups mix of the Pot of Gold.
To make 2 cups its just 1 1/2 tsp for 16oz water. I water with the Pot of Gold after watering the 1 1/2 gal solution first.
If you want to make 1 gal of Pot of Gold at a time its 1/4c (4 tbsp.) per gallon of pure water. Smaller plants feed 2 cups. Larger plants feed up to 4 cups.
Day 54 - She is growing consistently around 1/2" to 1" a day. Changing light schedule Monday morning. Right now Lights are on from 2am till 8pm. New schedule will be 6pm to 6am.
Monday is next feeding time. Switching to the Dr Earth 4-4-4 ferts and still doing Metabolic Transformer and Pot of Gold every other week.

Day 57 - Flipped the grow tent to 12/12 light schedule. Transition period initiated.
Day 60 - This plant is awesome. She grew perfect to fill in a 2ft X 2ft corner of the grow tent. She's 2ft tall after 2 weeks of LST. Pistils are starting to show deep within the bud sites. I'll be using the Dr Earth feed schedule exclusively in the future.

Day 64 - She's starting week 2 of the flowering stretch. She's almost as tall as the DWC grow now which is impressive. Nice and healthy. Excellent genetics. She's developed a nice 4sq ft canopy.
Day 68 - She's showing the stretch and has grown a few more inches. Budlets starting to form. Should be snowballs by next week.
Day 71 - Targeted defoliation. Shes coming along nicely. Added sand to top of soil to kill off fungus gnats. DE and Neem oil spray wasnt working. The sticky traps and the sand seem to be perfect.
1/4c of each Dr Earth dry ferts scratched into top of soil.
Used 2 tsp of Incredible Bulk PK booster in the water. Will use again the last 3 weeks of bloom as directed on package.
Day 90 - She's looking good. Buds are getting fatter. All vertical growth has stopped. Watering every 3 to 4 days. Feeding one time a week according to Dr Earth feeding schedule. Good results so far. No deficiencies.
Day 113 - peak bloom is ending and now waiting for her to swell and trichromes to go mostly amber. So far only ambers are on the leaves. Still milky and clear on the calyxs.
Day 121 - Buds are swelling still. Pistils turning orange brown and trichromes are starting to ripen. Maybe 2 to 3 weeks till harvest. They look really yummy.
The Dr Earth ferts did nit disappoint. The buds were nice and dank, dense and produced alot of Kush nugs.
I recommend Dr Earth. Can be used in compost teas as well. I just mixed it in the soil and top dressed based on their Cannabis grow guide.
