She's doing well. No issues so far. As usual I have started her under my 30w LED that I use for seedlings. I will be moving her into the tent in the next few days.

So far so good! I moved her into the tent a couple of days ago and she seems to be handling the increase in light intensity just fine!

I topped her on day 19 and she has taken to it very well. Everything is looking really good so far. She received her first very light feeding on day 20. Just a small dose of veg nutes and cal-mag. I will likely start doing some LST this week. Check in next week to see how it went!

Another strong week in the books. No low stress training just yet. Only some leaf tucking to better expose her future bud sites. I anticipate the stretch starting in the next week and will begin tying down some branches then.

Another good week in the books! She is just starting to stretch so I decided to start tying down some branches this week to try and get as even a canopy as possible. She seems very healthy overall. She has responded very well to the LST and I've seen no signs of deficiencies. I'm looking forward to seeing her flowers!

Hi all! My Alien Moonrocks autoflower is 36 days old and is just starting to flower. She has just begun stretching (which I know uses a lot of nitrogen) so I'm wondering how long I should continue giving her veg nutes and when I should start giving her bloom nutes?

I would follow your feeding schedule from the brand of nutrients your using. They list if your Veg/Flower is going longer and what weeks to repeat to off set this according to their schedule. https://lotusnutrients.com/pages/easy-guide-and-recommended-hydroponic-feeding-schedule there PPM scale is a bit high though, use the ratios they are suggesting between grow : bloom, but dilute your overall solution. Also have to remember autos feed lighter then photoperiods. https://www.autoflower.net/forums/threads/med-man-method-feeding-chart-ppm-ec.47856/ This link is a good reference for how much to feed your autos in terms of PPM/EC, its not 100% so you need to look at your plants and if they need less or more adjust with accordance. The plant will show sex first with pistils, then stretch and go into flower. I would keep your grow nutrients till its mid way stretch then start mixing in in the bloom. Best Of Luck!

Out of all the autoflowers I have grown this one is the healthiest! She's lush and green and super bushy. She seemed to love the increase in nutrients I gave her this week and she's really started to stretch the last couple of days. Her canopy is looking nice and even but I will continue to tuck leaves and tie branches down to expose as many bud sites to the light as possible.

Another week down! She's been much thirstier so I have found myself having to water every 2 or 3 days rather than every 4 or 5 days. I upped her nutrients again this week and she still appears to be showing signs of hunger. I plan to up the nutes again next feeding. I have been tucking leaves like a mad man trying to expose as many bud sites as I can to the light. She's just so bushy that it's becoming difficult. I think I may start defoliating a bit this week to make things a little more manageable.

Does this look like early signs of a phosphorus deficiency? I just gave her her first feeding of p/k boost last night. Should I have started that earlier?

is it cold at night? even upper 60s F can cause fall colors or augment a plant predisposed to showing red or purple leaves etc... Think this is genetics and or environmental... i'd becareful of blindly boosting p/k. you can quickly lock out other nutes. it's worth doing the math on what you feed to determine ppm of p and k in total - even for a soil grow. you don't need p much higher than 50ppm and K shouldn't be too much higher than 200ppm. now, those are soilless/hydro values... in soil it depends on numerous factors and potentially want to add less than that since plenty could exist in the soil still. either way.. if you add p/k boosting nutes and see issues start afterward, good chance it is locking things out. make a little note to use a bit less on next plant(s).

She's chugging right along. I think she's done stretching. She was getting a little too close to the light so I moved it up a couple of inches. I think the light intensity may have been contributing to some of the discoloration in some of the upper leaves. She's starting to give off quite the smell and I'm seeing a few pinkish/purplish pistils. She has more bud sites than any plant I've ever grown. I'm very happy my LST on this girl and will be trying to mimic it with all my future plants. I've been removing a few fan leaves here and there to open up all the bud sites to the light. It doesn't seem to stress her out at all. I cut the veg nutes put completely this week and upped the PPM to almost 1,000. I don't think I'll be going much higher than that as I have noticed a yellow tips on a few of her leaves. Thanks for checking out my diary and I'm already looking forward to next week's update!

I noticed a few signs of overfeeding this last week so I cut back on the nutrients by 10%. I think I've found the sweet spot now. I spent some time readjusting branches and retying them down this week. This plant is very bushy and the sheer number of bud sites is quite impressive. I wanted to expose as many of them to consistent light as possible so I also did a fair amount of defoliation. Her smell is really starting to shine! I can't quite describe the smell yet but I can just tell she's going to be very stinky. She's about halfway through flowering so I'm expecting her to need about one more month before she's ready to harvest.

She is really starting to bulk up fast! I think I have the watering and feeding dialed in perfectly. Her leaves are still on the lighter side but considering how fast the buds are putting on weight I think I'm going to continue feeding her at the same strength I have been for the last couple of weeks. Her smell is really coming through now. It's a strong lemony pine-sol scent that seems to get stronger by the day. It's fantastic. Thanks for reading my diary!

Well, despite all of her leaves doing their best Pikachu impression the buds still seem to be progressing nicely. Some of the pistils have started turning orangish brown and the buds themselves are getting thicker by the day. Her smell is very loud, almost like a lemony pine-sol. It's fantastic! She's still 2-3 weeks away from harvest. I'll probably start checking the trichomes next week and monitoring them every few days until she's ready to chop. Thanks for checking out my diary!

Most of her leaves have started dying off. I think it is largely due to missing a watering. Still, her buds are sticky and smelly and look to be nearing the finish line. I’ve stopped giving her the calmag and the boost nutes but I’m still giving her some bloom nutes. I’ve also started monitoring her trichomes. No amber yet. They are still a mix of clear and milky. I’m thinking she still needs another 10-14 days. See you next week!

Her buds are super dense and I’m just starting to see some amber trichomes. Unfortunately I definitely fried her a bit with too much food and her leaves have gone brown and crispy. Because of this I decided to chop her today. I’ll report back in a couple of weeks!
