Welcome to my new grow! Here are some details for you... Strain: Jack 47 XL Auto Pot: 5 gallon fabric Light: Apollo Evolution Pro (150w cob), to start I have the veg light on only at 50% Soil: 75% Biobizz light mix, 25% worm castings, 4 tbsp dolomite lime, 3 tbsp diatamaceous earth, 2 vials mico root (mycorrhiza). There is a layer of clay pebbles on the bottom for improved drainage and a layer of rice husks on top as mulch. Fans: 1 oscilating, 1 exhaust (connected directly to carbon filter) Tent: 60x60x160cm (2x2ft) Temps: It's summer here, so it will be hot all grow. I'm going to use an 18/6 light cycle with the lights off during the hottest part of the day toreduce temps a little. When I was ready to plant I dropped the seed in water in the morning and set up my tent. I mixed my soil together with worm castings, dolomite lime and diatamaceous earth then soaked it. I added some extra biobizz light mix into the centerand mixed in the mico root. I planted the seed right in the soil (it had soaked for about 5-6 hours). 3.5 days later she popped through the surface.

Off to a good start. She is already starting the second node of leaves. The coloration is normal. She was stretching a bit much so I added some little extra wet soil around the base to firm up tge stem. My oscillating fan is on in the tent too. I started the week with the light at about 25% power. 50cm from the plant, but after the seedling was stretching I increased the power to 50% and lowered the light to 45cm from the plant. watered 2L of water 2 times. The first time was straight water. The second time I added Mico True via riego(mycorrhiza) and Acti-vera. It sounds like a lot of water for a seedling, but I didn't have any runoff and I watered mostly away from the plant near the edge of the pot. With the high temps there seems to be a lot of evaporation.

Day 11: She's looking healthy so far. The 3rd node is growing now. I watered with 2L of water this morning. The last watering was on day 7 or 8. I added Mico True and Activera to the water. I adjusted the light up a bit. The temps are hot 27-30C during the day and 26-29C at 'night'. Humidity goes between 40-50%. I plan on topping her to control her height. I will probably wait for the 5th node to appear. That should be next week. Day 13: I can see the 4th node coming in. New branches are forming at the nodes now. I sprayed her with a mix of potassium soap, neem oil and DE as a preventative measure to deter pests. I've battled aphids and thrips before and hope not to have to do it again. Day 14: I topped her today to control her height and help the side branches develop. The 5th node grew enough for me to top her from the 5th node to the 4th node. She is developing quickly. I can't wait to see how she develops now after being topped.

Day 15: She looks good after topping her yesterday. I can already see new growth. I gave her with 2L of water today with Biobizz Activera and Bio Grow. She's 15cm tall today. Day 18: I added a topdressing of worm castings and more rice husks on top as mulch. I watered with 2L of water and Biobizz activera and bio grow at 50% strength. I probably should have waited a little longer to water. She looked droopy afterwards, but later in the day she was looking better again. The leaves are showing a slight yellowing between the veins and I'm not sure why... Maybe she's ready for more nutrients, since biobizz light mix doesn't have much. I thought that the worm castings I added should be enough this early. We'll see how she reacts after this feeding... It appears on all the leaves and in between the veins. Day 20: She's growing quickly now. I did a little leaf tucking to try and get more light to the lower branches. Once the branches get a little longer I will start LST to keep her height down. The older leaves are definitely showing a discoloration. The newer leaves look better. Overall this week was a week of excellent growth!

Day 22: I started LST today. The branches are very flexible. There are 6 strong looking branches and 2 smaller branches growing from the bottom. The plant height is 25cm after doing LST. The new leaves are not showing any discoloration. There are a few leaves clawing downward. Maybe there is an excess of nitrogen. Despite this I am very happy with the amount of growth so far. Day 23: I sprayed with potassium soap and neem oil during lights out as a preventive measure. I gave her 2L of water with 50% dose of activera and bio grow. Day 25: I adjusted the lst ties on the top branches. Day 26: I spotted pistils for the first time (they're hard to see in the photo). Now she is transitioning to flowering. I switched the light, before I had on the veg light and the bloom light was off. Now I turned the bloom light on full and turned the veg light on low. I will slowly increase the amount of light up to 100% I started flowering phase nutrients and gave her 2L of water with bio grow, bio bloom, top max, activera, and algamic. Everything is at 50% dosage following the Bio bizz chart. She is 30cm tall now despite topping her and tying her down. We'll see how much more she stretches... Day 27: I readjusted the LST ties. All new growth has normal coloration and there isn't anymore clawing. This week she really started to stretch and showed the first signs of flowering, pistils.

Day 29: She's beginning to flower now and pistils are visible all over. She's also still stretching quite a bit. She's not very bushy. The leaves look healthy. 33cm tall I gave her 2L of water with 1/2 dosage of biobizz bio grow, bloom, top max, activera and algamic. I sprayed her with potassium soap and neem oil during lights off. I adjusted the lst ties trying to even out the canopy and keep the height down. Day 32: I gave her 2L of water with nutrients and a little bag of trichoderma that I had. She is still stretching, but more slowly it seems. I slightly bumped up the light intensity to about 60%. I can see more leaves with the same discoloration from earlier in the grow. I'm not sure what the problem is, but she continues growing in the meantime. Day 34: I gave her 2L liters of water with the same nutrients. I adjusted the ties. She continues to stretch. She is now 38cm tall. The leaf discoloration continues to be the same. None of the leaves have fallen off. She is not super bushy, but there are a lot of bud sites! I adjusted the light back up to 45cm from the plant and I slightly increased the light power, it's at about 70% now. I saw two small black things flying around near the soil. I think they are fungus gnats, but I'm not sure. I don't see any damage on the leaves or any other signs of insects. I hung the sticky fly trap up to try and catch whatever is flying around.

Day 36: I sprayed her 1 last time with potassium soap and neem oil. The buds are about to start forming, so this will be the last time. Day 37: I gave her 2L of water with nutrients. I also added a small dose of calmag to see if it helps the leaves. She is 40cm tall now. I can see the same discoloration on the leaves. I'm not sure if adding the calmag is a mistake or not... The stems at the top are also red/purple. This I believe is from the intensity of the light. It happened last grow as well. Today I bumped the light up to 80%. Day 39: I watered her again, the same as last time but without the calmag. She drank the water more a bit more quickly than before. It looks like she's done or almost done stretching now. The buds are now starting to form. I caught a couple gnats on the sticky tape that I put up. I also saw another one flying around the pot. I saw what looks like slight yellowing on a couple tips. This could be from nutrients or light, so I raised the light a few cm higher. Day 42: I can't remember now, but I think I watered yesterday in the morning. I definitely watered tonight. 2L of water. I lowered the amount of bio grow, bio bloom and activera and top max back to the levels from last week, because I saw a few leaf tips curling down and a couple yellow tips. I don't want to add too much nitrogen. The light is on at 100% now. The coloration is still strange, but it doesn't seem to be getting worse quickly. I think she will make it till harvest. She is definitely done stretching. I can see the trichomes forming now and there isn't any more upward growth. I'm pretty happy with the way the canopy turned out. I haven't seen any more gnats.

Day 44: She is looking good. The buds are visibly growing. I sprayed her with Biobozz leaf coat to hopefully help with pests and the high heat. There is some yellowing of older leaves. There is barely any smell at all. I can only smell a faint sweet scent if I brush my fingers against a bud. Day 45: I gave her 2L of water with nutrients and untied some of the LST ties. I removed 2 leaves that were blocking the lower bud sites in the center. That's the only defoliation I've done. Day 47: I gave her 2L of water, but I upped the nutrients a little, because she is looking a little light in color. (Grow 1ml/L, Bloom 1.5, Top Max 2, Algamic 3, Activera 2. Day 49: I gave her 2L of water, with the intention of it being the same as last time, but I have 1.5ml of grow by accident. No runoff. I pulled off the yellow leaves that I saw. There were maybe 7-8.

Day 50: I sprayed her with Biobizz leaf coat during lights out. The temperature has been really hot and the tent got up to 33C during the lights on for a while. Day 51: I gave her 2L of water with nutrients. She looks beautiful. The buds are noticably growing. The smell is still weak, but it has gotten a little stronger. It smells sweet and makes me think of candy. Day 53: I gave her 2L of water with nutrients. She is looking great. The leaves stopped yellowing. The buds continue developing. She has a delicious sweet smell when I brush against her. She's obviously not ready yet, but I took a peek at the trichomes and they are mostly clear with a few cloudy. Day 55: I gave her 2L of water with nutrients. The temperatures here dropped a bit and it has only been 26-29C with lights on. She drank a little less water. She is looking BEAUTIFUL!!! Her leaves look great. The buds are growing and getting frostier. The smell is still mild, but very nice and sweet. I'm thinking she has 2-4 more weeks before harvest.

Day 57: The buds continue growing and getting frostier. Trichs are still mostly clear with some cloudy. I gave her 2L of water with nutrients. She seems to be starting to fade slightly. Day 60: I gave her 2L of water with nutrients. The buds are throwing out more white pistils and continue growing. Day 62: I gave her 2L of water with nutrients. She was quite dry. It's been hot recently and the temps are getting up to 32C in the tent at times. I cut off maybe a dozen yellow/dry fan leaves. She's looking fucking beautiful! The buds are frosty and the trichomes are already more cloudy than clear. Most buds are still throwing out white pistils, but a couple seem to have stopped. The lower buds are still underdeveloped.

Day 64: She's getting closer, but not ready yet. Some pistils are darkening, but some buds are still throwing out new white pistils. I am really happy with how the buds have continued fattening. The trichomes are mostly cloudy with some clear. I gave her 2L of water with nutrients today. I continued slowly increasing the nutrient levels. Day 66: I gave her 2L of water with nutrients again. Buds continue developing, but nothing else new to report. Day 69: I gave her 2L of water with nutrients again. She seems to be drinking a little more slowly, but the weather was cooler too. Bud growth seems to be slowing down. More fan leaves are slowly yellowing. Trichomes look a little more cloudy, no amber.

Day 71: She's still going... It would be alright to harvest at this point, but I want to push her a bit longer. The trichomes are 90% cloudy/10% clear/0% amber. She is still showing some white pistils on the big buds up top. The lower buds are filling out, but they definitely could use more time. The leaves are turning purple on the edges. The buds look very frosty. The smell is weak, but pleasant and sweet. I gave her 2L of water with nutrients. I'm thinking she has 1-2 more weeks to go. It's the beginning of fall now and if I get lucky I will have slightly cooler temperatures to dry with. Day 73: I gave her another 2L of water with nutrients. She looks wonderful and I can't wait to try her! I hope that her smell will increase after drying. That happened on my last grow so I have some hope. Day 75: I gave her another 2L of water with nutrients. The buds continue to fatten up. You can really see the purple fade on the leaves now.

Day 78: Looks like this will be her last week. The trichomes are all cloudy now. I don't see any amber. The buds continue to grow and throw out white pistils, but fewer than before. The leaves are turning more purple and fading. Her colors are very beautiful to look at. The smell is still weak, but it is slightly stronger than before. I fed her 2L of water with nutrients again today. She seems to be drinking a little more slowly. Day 80: The purple on the leaves looks gorgeous! The buds even seem to be coloring. I see amber trichomes too, maybe 5%. I didn't see them with my lupe, but I saw them with my mini microscope. So, I would be happy to harvest her, but at the same time she is now throwing our more white pistils than before. My partner loves this plant. She says that it smells good. It is definitely a pleasant and non-overwhelming aroma. She doesn't usually like the smell of plants and often complains about it, so this is a plus. Day 80: 2nd update. I examined her closely and found a nanner. There were a couple other spots that looked suspicious too, like a nanner might pop out. I think the nanner and the new white pistils are the plant's last effort before dying. I looked over the buds more with the microscope and the amber looks like 5-10%, so I'm going to harvest her tomorrow. I switched off the light now before I go to sleep, to give her a little darkness before I chop and hang her tomorrow on Day 81. The next update will take a bit since it's the harvest. Luckily the temperatures here are dropping slightly and it looks like the temps won't go over 30C outside.

She got the chop at 81 days. Overall the frow was pretty stress free. She seemed to handle my hot dry environment well. I dried the plant whole for 7 days, then dry trimmed and put her in the jars. The drying conditions were temps 18-28C and humidity 30-50%. I filled 2 whole 2liter jars. I don't have a scale, but I'd say it's at least 2 ounces. The buds are denser than I expected from their appearance. They are very frosty. They have a delicious citrusy sweet smell. The taste when vaping is harder to describe. She's definitely feels like a daytime smoke, but it's also pretty strong.
