Brand New Grow! Super excited after having to scrap my whole operation 2 years ago before it had even begun. I lost everything- seeds, tent, lights ,fans; it was a disaster. Anyway, that was the past. Fast Forward 2 years. 🎁🌲Christmas Miracles🌲🎁 I am running 4 plants in a 4x2 Octane Grow Tent. 100% Germination! Let's Do This!

Okay so just checked in on my babies. One of them is not looking happy. This is a Orange sherbet auto that was sown on 12/24. Light distance is 32in. Any ideas? Overwatering? I was careful to use a mist sprayer. This was the last one to lose its shell. Maybe just over worrying?

looks fines to me, some seeds have weird looking cotyledons "baby leaves from the sprout before true/mature leafs form". Sometimes they die out early other times not. Your plants looking healthy and I would not worry about it. Best of luck on your grow.

Okay, I feel like I am asking a lot of questions so let me apologize for that. Lol. So my plants just seem to be behind most people's I see on here.Is it too late to change my lighting schedule? My theory was northern hemisphere gets many days 24hr lighting. Good or Bad?

You should do a little research into DLI for your lighting during seedling/early veg. With a 240w light (if it's actually a true wattage rating) you should have plenty of light to not run a 24hr cycle. If you're really just entering your 1st week of veg, I don't think you're behind and you're not seeing the kind of stretching that suggest that you need more light. On the feeding, the seed itself has enough nutrition for the first week or so above ground after that, obviously in coco you'll need to make sure they're fed regularly and consistently. I assume since you're working in coco you've signed up here: https://www.cocoforcannabis.com/community/ It's really the best community/source of info.

Awesome Week 👍. Technically about 18hrs away from 7 days since seeds were placed in pots 😅. GREAT GROWTH! I am super excited, these plants are doing great😁 A little nervous about nutes... so I am going very light. I had precharged the coco and perlite mix with a full veg feeding prior to planting seeds, then flushed it once with distilled water pH'd to 6.0 right before they went in the pots Not much to do but listen to the plants and do my best to keep them healthy. Happy Growing Everyone 🤙💪

Is this normal on young plants? Almost looks like trichs lol .. it isn't powder mildew is it? Also the leaf is weird wavy maybe after effect of the light damage caused by intensity? Again, my apologies for asking so much; I had considered myself very well informed on growing haha

🌱What's Up Gromies!🌱 I know this is still 48hrs out from 2nd week. However, it has been a rough week.😔 I want to thank all you guys and gals for checking out my grow and a shout out to those few who have been offering me help with these issues.💚😎👍 So the week started thinking everything is good. Then I began noticing bad signs. 😱Growth slowing, light green/yellowing, wavy and clawing leaves. SMH🤧🤢🤒 I have fixed pH, corrected air circulation, adjusted nutes, and finally have the light intensity dialed in.💪 Still have yellowing happening. Leaves I am guessing are permanently damaged.🤦‍♂️ Fingers crossed that everything will look better in a few days. 🤞🙏🤞 Happy Growing Everyone! 🤙💚💪🌱😎🌱💪💚🤙

For nutrients some say to add cal mag after silica sits and bonds but before base nutes and others say to add after base nutes SMH so much misinformation makes it hard for new growers😅 I know mixing sequence matters. I just don't know which is correct.

got to agree with @ezzjaybruh With so many companies and formulations now, it might be best to follow whats on the manufactures website and bottles. Then when you have a bunch of clones to experiment with try and see if it makes a difference by running a small two part study. Best of Luck and Happy Growing!

Given what you said earlier, I think your on the right track in slowly feeding them and keeping and eye on the progression. That this yellowing could be the result of all the watering from flushing it got in the previous few days from as a correction to high salts and EC of the medium. Keep us posted,

Week has had ups and downs🙃 Plants seem to be growing fine 🙂 But there is yellowing and spotting still that I cannot resolve.🙄 Day 22- Still having some kind of deficiency/issue. They are growing well, don't really seem to be stunted. I think I may have burnt them with nutes.🤧 Flushing may help. 🤷‍♂️😅 Run-off pH is at 6.08, PPM 266 I have flushed them, lowered feeding... I'm driving myself crazy. Hahaha Update 119 Day 23- Things are looking better. I definitely have been overfeeding them.😅 They are responding well to half nutes.🙌 Issues seem to be getting much better. Happy Growing! 🤙💚💪🌱😎🌱💪💚🤙

Having significantly lower runoff than input, as well as higher pH from run off seems like it’s hungry personally. Something is almost immediately displacing that feed and spiking the pH. So it could be the roots are hungry and quickly up taking the feed, or the coco could be stealing some of the feed if not properly buffered. When the dissolved salts in the feed are immediately displaced, this causes the pH to go up because most nutrients are slightly acidic. I know it’s weird you have slightly burnt tips but that’s my best guess is up the feed a bit, or double frequency of feeds..

Awesome Week💚 Following some great discussions with more experienced growers, I really think we got things back on track! 🙏 To those Growmies I really raised the ppm this week we topped out around 630 PPM This was in an attempt to balance out some nutrition issues. I think the ladies have responded very well. 😃🌱💪 Raised the light up to 24in as well a few days later after seeing positive changes due to feeding regiment. Started preflowering, showing pistols on all plants. Counting down these last 7-8 weeks when the ladies beauty comes out 🤩 Will update throughout the week with photos and videos. Happy Growing! 🤙💚💪🌱😎🌱💪💚🤙

This past week has been a blast! After getting these ladies nutrition straightened out, they are thriving!💚🌱💚 I gave defoliated wayyy more than what I see other growers traditionally doing. After the "3rd and final haircut" I defoliated two more times 😅 Thank you the GD community for the support and resources along the way 🙏 My only concern now is the tent actually becoming too crowded.😆. Other then that I am thinking it should be smooth sailing these next 6 weeks or so. 🏴‍☠️😎🏴‍☠️ Happy Growing! 💚💪🌱😎🌱💪💚

normal for soilless to get some brown in their tip going into flower. So many changes going into flower in soiless that this usually happens but it settles. if your still running 24 hours I would cut them back to at least 20/4 personally, so those buds get big. plants do a lot while they rest. check your runoffs waters ph and ec levels, I would try to keep it about 600 ppm and when you see flowers form, bring the ph up to 6.2

Another Great Week Down! The ladies are looking great, these Six Shooters are a little behind the Orangr Sherbets. The stretch is REAL. hahaha Everything going fairly smooth besides not being able to get this pH down a little. I have burned their tips a few time trying to flush with a high ppm low pH solution. Everything else seems to be in order though. Happy Growing! 🤙💚💪🌱😎🌱💪💚🤙

Everything coming together after adjusting in pH to 6.2.🌱💪 Six Shooter#2 Is suffering tip burning and is further behind in development than all the other plants in the tent. 😔 I am going to flush her with cal mag and phed water to try to prevent/ treat lock out. I am also considering the possibility of just chopping her and giving more room to the other girls to thrive. Any thoughts on that would be appreciated🙏 Happy Growing! 💚💪🌱😎🌱💪💚

Sorry for the Late Update Growmies This week is going great. The Six Shooter does indeed have small bullet sized buds. Hard to be sure with all the frost and pistols everywhere, but the buds appear to be purple.🤩 Six Shooter #2 is further behind in development so I may be forced to harvest that one early if I can not arrange a different drying space for the 3 plants that will be ready simultaneously. I am expecting to harvest in 2 weeks or less trichs are mostly milky looking. Thanks for following along and please drop a like here. Happy Growing! 💚💪🌱😎🌱💪💚

Everything has gone extremely well. Couldn't ask for q better first grow. Have been flushing with just pH'd water for about a week. Starting the ladies dark period today. The smell is super gassy and pungent. I can't wait to taste these buds 🤤 Six Shooter #2 definitely could have gone another 2-3 weeks. I decided to flush it anyway and maybe use it to make edibles. Next grow I will have a separate drying area and not have to worry about synching the harvest dates. Big shout out to Fast Buds for these Awesome Genetics 💪🌱💪 Thank you so much to the Grow Diaries Community and all those that helped and like my grow along the way 🙏

This strain was a breeze to grow. The purple phenotype is hands down some of the best herb I have ever tried. Will definitely recommend to anyone looking to grow a highly resilient, highly potent strain. Thank you to all those on this platform.
