Left to soak in distilled water for 24hrs, then used the paper towel method to finish germination. I put in 30 Blueberry OG seeds from barneys farm, 3 of which failed, so i supplemented with 2 Green Crack Auto seeds i had been sent free by FastBuds from a previous failed grow..
So, their first week consisted of a small daily watering, and upping pots to 10cm ones that weren't translucent. 1 x SF4000 set at 40%. A couple plants went a little leggy, that's why the initial 20% of the lights were on was changed to 40%... I did put a small stake in the grounds of a few of the ladies to help prop them up..
Added a second SF4000 this week, both set at 40%, plants seem to be loving it.. Seem to have a few fungus gnats flying around so i am watering once weekly with a drop/Liter of TanLin as suggested by the man in my local horticulture shop..
I added another two SF4000 lights this week, so i have 4 currently on at and upped to 50%. I repotted all the plants into 6L pots using straight coco with dynomyco used around the old root ball whilst repotting..
So i've noticed some yellowing on some of the leaves this week, following advice from a friend i have started watering them with just Dr Repair by Cyco, the plants definitely look happier, and their deficiencies have stopped progressing.. Lights have also been upped to 70%.
Big week. I have repotted all my plants from 6L to 18L pots, adding perlite for the first time (70/30), as well as Dynomyco around the edges of where the plant goes in. The ladies, after recovering for a day, are appearing a little bit more vibrant, i am using Cyco's Dr Repair in conjunction with the CANNA line as a CalMag booster.. the grow space is getting a little crowded now and i've added another two SF4000's for a total of six, all set to 75% now..
Wow it feels like these ladies have exploded in the past week. All the ladies have been topped, and have recovered extremely well. I have decided i no longer want to use CANNA nutrients in my grow, i don't think i'm getting on with them personally and since Dr Repair from Cyco worked so well i thought i'd give them a try :). I'll be feeding them according to the basic feed chart provided by Cyco and will see how it goes, ill also be using their Kleanse once weekly to flush the plants. Apparently i've been needing to do this and havn't, oops. My newest and scariest issue is now humidity, i just can't seem to get it under control, the plants are growing bigger and bushier than i'd thought so humidity has been reaching a whopping 90% during lights out i've added a 12L dehumidifier but it doesn't seem to be doing much so if you have any tips to lower humidity, that would be much appreciated for future reference. I think the two Green Crack Auto's (Pictured two on the bottom right) are starting to flower. I think this may be the last week they are in veg, but im concerned about flipping them before i figure out the humidity issue. We'll see.
Well, they've gone a bit crazy in here. Humidity is through the roof so i've heavily defoliated them, another high stress technique they've recovered very quickly from and responded well too, this seems like quite a hardy strain, i may be wrong though as i have pretty much no experience. Due to the increased humidity though, i've changed the 12L dehumidifier for a 50L one, a little more befitting. still humidity remains above 65% most of the time during the day and almost always above 70% at night. I know i need to get this under control, and soon, but even the 50L dehumidifier is only taking 10% out at most, better than nothing i suppose. I've even been seeing water droplets in between leaves where they're resting on each other, the biggest reason why i defoliated.
So week 8 is finished, and even with constant defoliation the room still feels like its getting bushier every day. I've decided to go to Cyco's advanced chart as i already had most of the other things for it lying around, bar one, so it seemed silly not to. Humidity is still a little bit of an issue. -65% during the day and up to 80% during lights out due to the A/C going off. Still an improvement on the 90% i was getting before putting in the 50L dehumidifier though..
Bud sites starting to fully form nicely throughout the top canopy and below with some nice crystals forming :)). Lots of defoliation this week. That seems to be helping a lot with humidity. I'm just really hoping that they're gonna fatten up in these last few weeks... I'm also really hoping to get 5lbs-6lbs, someone tell me that isn't too unreasonable lol..
So, i ended up harvesting about 2-3 weeks earlier than i should've due to the fact that i thought i may have had bud rot, which turned out to just be coloring in the genetics of the plant... Still. I ended up with -+ 4lbs/2kgs so not bad at all.
