@@Jhindlehydro, fastbud seeds are pretty stsbil. It responds very well to hydrophonic systems. I focused only on the roots of the plant for the first 3 weeks, you're right.

I've heard of people doing it and they says the results prevent some reoccurring issues in flowering, but that's their own experiences.
They may have a different growing style then yourself.
I myself have not done it, and would not do it with the soil setup I use.

The fungus gnats problem weakens the plant, preventing it from taking the given fertilizers. Does anyone have any information on the subject?

All I know is they eat the decaying plant matter, and are more nussiance then anything.
