Verbalist Verb’s dream, a Tangerine Dream!
• DIY mini DWC bubbler 5L (1gallon) reservoir
• 252L/h adjustable air pump + 8" stone
🌱 1/2 She popped alive!
👍 Hydroton & Jiffy coco plug buffered with 5.8 pH solution diluded with GHE Roots & Canna’s Cal/Mag agent.
👍 1/3 mini DWC bubbler ready and bubbling!
🌱 Tap root through the jiffy
PROJECT & PLAN:
• Will mainline/manifold her and hoping to get 8 potential colas before it fully flowers.
• Main-lining should take place between second and third week.
• Might move her into a bigger reservoir for the bloom, just maybe.
• 2x3 tent & Mars Hydro TS 1000 after ~3 weeks — first two weeks goes inside the cabinet.

Verbalist 📆 - First week was pretty straight forward. Impressed how fast and HEALTHY roots growing in a lower grade DWC bucket.
• Main stalk got bit stretchy but hopefully straightenin' up now.
• Shes fed 350ppm worth of nutrient solution from day 3.
Happy Growings & Stay safe and medicated! 🙏🌱

Verbalist 📆 1/11 - main stalk standing straight almost! Day or two more and she looks better. Tried to support it for a bit.
• Changed the reservoir water ending EC 0.6 / TDS 330ppm
📆 1/13 - Everything looking good! Couple more days and first Main-Lining takes place!
📆 1/15 - She growin' so fast! Guessing first Main-Lining takes place at the end of the weekend
📆 1/17 - End of the 2nd week!
Wrap up: everything went smooth except one night she ate something that caused pH to fall down 4.3 - I guess slight micro nutrient toxicity (Fe). But today looks like doing better!

Verbalist 📆 1/18 - Hello! Decided to give her the first Main-Lining at day 15! 👌
4th node has just opened, so I guess I did it a bit early. But luckily looks like she didn’t even flinch!
As TD has reported to stretch quite bit and grow shit loads of stem, just wondering this could turn into something very cool!
1/19 Reservoir TDS: 400ppm / EC: 0.7 — She had eaten +50ppm worth of something in less than 12hrs! Happy!
📆 1/23 - Day 21 / end of the 3rd week – nothing major to report this week. One more pair of leaves to open and growth will speed up.

Verbalist 📆 1/25 start of the 4th week. She showed the sex/first pistils 23 days old! 🙏
Having sucha small reservoir might turn into a problem later. She consumes already quite amounts of nutrients which makes the water pH swing down to toxic readings in no time as the nutrients pH stabilizers are gone.
📆 1/29 - Day 26 / Did second Main-Lining. Topped both new mains. Now it has total 12 colas! 🥦
Happy growing!

Verbalist Trying to temporarily cut off Phoshorus (P) feed, down to minimum ~15-20ppm. Incase that would inhibit the stretch.
❗️NB/FYI: 5th week gave RAW Kelp as a foliar feed and 6th week trying to apply it into reservoir for a week.
• 2/12 dropped out Kelp from the lineup

Verbalist 📆 2/14 - Start of the 7th week. Shes comming up pretty well. Hopefully the flowers swell enough to make more even and denser nugs.
* Phosphorus were cut out for 5-6 days. Now feeding heavy bloom based ferts (incase the stretch is over).
* Randomly foliar feeding Kelp (plant always seem to perk up)
Grow well g-journalists & followers 🥦😎
📆 2/20 - Mg def got worse. Tried to foliar Feed Canna’s MONO 7%Mg.
• By the end of the week looks like its slowing down

Verbalist 📆 2/21 - Magnesium deficiency still occurs.
— Kelp treatment has made a new nice white mass of roots.
— on 8th week I’ll start dosing up PK13-14 Boosters. Aiming for two weeks (week 8 & 9) and hopefully 10th will be flush/ripen.
2/27 end of the 8th week!
Tangerine Dream looks like the Magnesium deficiency is settling down and buds are starting to swell VERY QUICKLY.
— Gave a little (1/16tsp per 2L) Kelp boost for two days, during the 8th week.
— During the 8th week gave one first PK boost reservoir patch. (9th week will be the PK boost week)
* Reservoir EC&ppm’s: 1.4-1.7EC / ~700-800ppm

• 9th week plan is PK boost for 5-7 days. Started 2/27 with Canna’s PK13-14 with 1ml/L / EC: 1.6 - Aiming for about 2EC / 1000ppm.
Happy growing! 🥦

Verbalist 📆 Calcium deficiency symptoms appears on the foliage. Might be due the last week (9th week) PK boost.
Now dropped EC back to 1.4-1.5, bumped up CalMag dosage.
• If the nugs still keeps swelling after 10th week, then I’ll give her one more PK boost week (11th week) and 12th week would be the last week/flushing.
Hope to get this ready in 80 days. It seem to be more typical 90-110 day plant since it should flower for 7 weeks, but this pheno is quite bulked up already. 🥦🥦
📆 Calcium def symptoms stopped spreading as increased CalMag dose up to 1ml/L

Verbalist Wanted to reduce available Nitrogen ppm’s, but still provide enough Ca & Mg - so tried GHE Silica/Mineral Magic to replace CalMag Agent. FYI. Mineral Magic does not contain enough Ca/Mg.
📆 Week 11: Decided to go for one more PK boost week (end of 12th going to be flush)
• TDS: ~1000-1100 target
• EC: 1.8-2.2
Thanks @Ganja4Show ! 😎🙏
I find the art of this growth from this 1 gallon mini DIY DWC. Thats some real work to maintain that small reservoir to meet the flowering plant needs. Not to talk about pH related things 😂
@Verbalist,
I don't have experience with DWC but it seem you got it under control. she's getting pretty big. i guess the more roots she produces the harder its going to get tho. 💪
@Ganja4Show, yup exactly. 1gallon ~4L bucket and only having 2L of solution available for the roots as the bucket cannot be filled to the top.
More root mass = more nutrients will be absorbed and thus that the pH swings etc.
