Kwall The seedlings started in a rockwool cube in a dark room in a dome on a heated pad. The rockwool cubes were sitting in ph neutral water for about 20 hours prior to me inserting the seedlings. The seedlings sprouted about 2 days the process. I continued to lightly water the rockwool and to make sure the cubes were damp. Once the seedlings sprouted roots at the bottom I immediately moved them into my 8’ custom built lids. (Way too early, this is my first grow) using tap water at this point.

Kwall First week. Transplanted seeds way too early. I didn’t realize I had to top feed and didn’t understand how ph/ppm’s work. Roots were not coming through the bottom of the net pots.

Kwall The more I top fed with a spray bottle the quicker they began to grow. I didn’t drop my water line once the roots touched the water. Rookie mistake

Kwall Had awful ph and ppm meters and didn’t understand how ppm worked or how to feed these guys in my rDWC yet. Clearly experienced some difficulties. I was doing a res change every day it felt like

Kwall Finally got nutes and ppm locked in thanks to dwc subreddit. Purchased blue lab meters and also installed an RO system. Built these little nets outta pvc too. Starting to understand how the ph and ppm’s work.

Kwall About to flip to flower. Currently this system contains a total of 17.7g with my waterline about 2.5-3 inches under the net pots. Ppm is around 550-600 and ph is around 6. I top off once a day using a diluted solution based off the amount of water needed to keep my water line at a certain level along with the weekly recommended ppm’s. My electric sky 180v3 is about 20 inches from plant right now and I have a 2’ extension coming for my gorilla 2x4 shorty.

Kwall Flipped to flower. Ppm’s around 700 and ph around 6. Added 2 ft extension to my gorilla shorty tent. Going to defoliate this week. I’m not sure the lower part of the plant is receiving light.

Kwall Day 10 of flower. Left plant developed nuts so I chopped it. Lollipopped. Raised the light to about 30’ from the plants. Dropped ppm to about 690. Dropped the water level .5’ to get more oxygen to the roots, so I have about 16.8 gallons in my system and the water level is about 3’ from the net pots. Added the scrog and tucked to reduce stretching and even out the canopy. Ph fluctuates around 6.0-6.5 but never goes over 6.5. Daily top off’s to keep water level stead at 9’.

How was the final product?
Did it have a nice flavor when smoking?
Im growing two of these right now, theyre very nice plants so far, but i hope theyre worth the time and effort.
A nice flavor is the most important to me, so itll be great if theyre very terpy.
